NGONGE, I wish I took that much interest in dressing up. I'm gonna be home by 6:30 and out the door at 7:30. Probably be ready in 40mins, throw on a dirac and out the door. Of course, my lack of preparation always makes me feel less dressy and pretty than every other girl in the place. . But I really couldn't be bothered to put in the effort! You see, I'm not looking. . So, I'm sure you're all eager to know how it went yesterday with Abdi and the other 7 potential grads . I'm sad to report he will not be joining us ... but the chosen candidates are super . He was very nice though (thats code for 'easy on the eye' ). I know he did really well in his presentation (the best actually), but I was told his tests didnt go well. . Oh well!! I really wanted another Somali! p.s. I just found out one of the candidates is called Abdi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abdi!!! Who else could it be but a big foreheaded Somali I'm sooooooo excited to meet this Abdi character. Wow, a potential Somali in MY company! There is just one other black girl, so you can understand my elation at the prospect Now lets hope he does all his tests properly and behaves on the day without flirting with me... quite a hard feat

Speaking of recruitment and selection, I'm going to be part of an assessment day tomorrow for the next group of mucks who will chosen and put through 7 weeks of hellish training. It feels great to be at this end. I'm going to do exactly what was done to me... glamorize the place to no end, avoid telling them the dim truth about the workload. I feel good in a vengeful sort of way *hopes thats normal*.
