I thought SATC was alright, a good ending to the series. If you watched the last season and actually liked all the sappiness of the storyline, I dont see how you couldnt like the movie. It was the same, just a few times more sappy.

Originally posted by Ms DD: Many somalis are on the same boat. Girl or boy. BUt I always tell my friends who are looking to live life, improve yourself in anyway you can and when you are meant to meet someone, no one on earth will stop the meeting. For instance I met my ex at train station where I wasnt supposed to be and he certainly wasnt supposed to be there. He was on his way to meet another girl. What I am trying to say is, someone who travelled from another town (5hours away) on his way to meet another girl and I met on that night and married. So Never fret my brother. If Allah wills, you will meet someone. I see some people focusing so much on meeting that special person that they forget to enjoy life/improve life, that time passes without being successful in either. Be patient as North said. That girl is surely on her way. But in the meantime, save money, get healthy and take courses for Liban's sake and his children's and not for a girl. Just curious though..Why limit yourself to somali only? Plenty of fish in the sea. Cadaan, this is the best advice you'll get on this forum. Improve yourself for YOU.. its never worth it to do it for someone else. It seems to me, from reading your post, that you dont think much of yourself... so how do you expect someone else to think so of you?

^horta 'carraabayay' ii micnee... Waad salaamantahay adiguna. And age is no hindrance for my good atheer, his personal values and principles are. With his charm, he can have any number of women - should he choose to.

You're assuming there arent 'bad' (such a subjective term) people from the other side involved. I bet there are a few Al-shabaab members and instigators in the mix who hold foreign passports too.

I just watched it - very very sad state of affairs. HELL is really OTHER PEOPLE. Anyways, the reporting was a bit biased. They conflict is a two sided affair and the insurgents exacerbate the situation, pretty much using the same tactics of random bombing in areas where innocent bystanders get hurt. The only thing that glaringly stood out was that the people running the show on the tfg side are highly ignorant, highly incompetent, highly istubidh and highly indifferent to the suffering of others.

Now that you guys insist on bringing your jibberish to the General Section, I'm going to go home and watch this on 4oD... Hopfully its worth all the hu-ha and oohin and counter oohin. p.s. its funny how everyone is acting like they just realized what a misery ridden place that country is!

Class to me is a state of mind. Finance has little to do with it. And on that fact alone Marc, you are a class-less shrimp.

Haneefah, its not always good to dwell on all thats negative. I'm assuming this sort of festival is for those in the west to experience a bit of culture, art and food from the continent. So as to keep their bond with their homelands. I'm sure even those in disease and war ridden places still smile and celebrate when the occasion calls for it (weddings, public holidays).

^Yeah Ibtisam! Why not.. Long weekend.. No Money... and so no getting away from the city! So might as well go for cheap gigs on the streets!

^You're such a drama-queen Marc. Get a grip, nin weyn baad tahaye. NG.. for a second I was very excited you were going to be there and that I might run into you and it would be fun - but then I remembered your tendency to write compeletely exaggerated and false stories about people... so if you see me, dont say hi!

Sounds nice, and the weather is "predicted" to be beautiful.

Ibs, do you think the girl he is always talking about with the delicious skin texture and the even more sumptious lips is CL?

I love diamonds! I would rather own a few diamond pieces than all the gold in the world. Anyway, it would be unacceptable and a deal breaker to be duped. Especially on something thats supposed to an expression of your bond. Not much of an expression if its glass and breakable, is it now?

It boggles the mind how Marc gets so many replies to his topics..

Justice, I would suggest you get a second hand VW Polo or Golf, you can never go wrong with German cars. They are built to last. And they dont look bad either. You might find it a bit difficult to find an auto one, as they are mostly manual, but there are a few around. Try looking outside the city if you live in London.

BOB, You grammar and spelling is fine, but your attitude doesn’t make the cut. So stop writing to me

^Old man, this is one time you have missed the point of the thread by a mile. Try not to get caught out by the words 'facebook' and 'private messages'.

Still, even perfection has its limitations And feel free to point out my mistakes. I'll endeavour to pay more attention and correct them in the future Originally posted by xiinfaniin: Now if you want to know the cheif difference between girls and boys, inamadu gabdhaha waa u ceeb qariyyaan, gabdhuhuna xooggaana ma cafiyyaan, xattaa spelling error. KK, that would be really sad, wouldnt it? To come here and brag about something like that. Gediid, why do you look confused? People, I'm not talking about specific people here. I just generally find inamada to be severely lacking in the art of writing - even when they can. They are just careless and carefree with it - and although the situation might be 'informal' or 'friendly', its just a reflection of someone's attitude... and if you're me (quite the perfectionist @KK), you'll find it annoying/frustrating to be around careless people who cant even write a few sentences without making a mistake.

Boys, dont change the subject. Tell me why your kind is so lacking in the manners of writing? Actually, do one better - spread the word that bad writing skills is a definite interest killer!
