  1. Mutakalim, although you can be condescending and patronizing almost all the times, I think you're the most edited Nomad on the site - from Islamic, Women to the Poetry section, I've seen your posts disappear faster than my pay checks and thats a bleeding shame. If the verbal vomit of some the others can be given a place in internet pages, yours should be too. Maybe you just strike a nerve everytime with your brutal honesty or maybe the nomads find it impossible to reason with you and have to resort to underhanded methods to save face. Whatever the case… keep on writing! LSK, Your complacent and appeasing attitude surprises me. Aeryn
  2. As a Muslim, being Gay is an outright abomination of Allah's word and any1 doing so does it at their own will. I will certainly not associate with gay people for we have nothing in common, however, neither will I participate in the burning or humiliation of such people. In today’s world, a certain level of tolerance is needed. Besides,'quees eye for the straight guy' isnt that bad of a show
  3. Shayma, Spot on. Since this is my thread, I think its apt I end on a poetic note in accordance with NGONGE's tradition. This matter is so transparent, And to everyone its apparent, This little alliance, That strives on defiance, Of the golden rules of the site, Which include no unnecessary bite. A little girl cannot take a little denigration And with total disregard causes everyone’s condemnation A very unprincipled action, And therefore a cause for consideration, This is not an assumption, It’s called logical deduction.

  5. AAMIIN and Ramadaan Kariim IL CAPO and every1 else on SOL.
  6. You know the funny thing about jobs Sue? Its so difficult to get them, but as soon as you get one, others literally knock on your door.
  7. As much as I'd love to continue this to Ngonge's elation, And cause some sort of humiliation, Its just not my style or position, To succumb to the offences of the vindictive, And once again make every1 active, On SOL's dull poetry derivative.
  8. ^ Walaalo, afka ha ila soo galin, hadaad wax aad ku hadasho garaneyn. I'll not get into a mid-slingin and humiliation session with you because, unlike you, I actually have some respect for you as some1 who shares mutual acquaintances. I hope you will steer clear of my way from now on and atleast show some common courtesy. This is such an obvious attempt on your part and I'll stop here for your own sake.
  9. LOL @ LST's bragging. Wasnt your site down 2 days ago? and more often than I check ma account details
  10. This is wonderful news. I hope this means the Somali passport is valid now
  11. Interesting links - thanks. Enjoyed reading a few of the 1000 and 1 nite stories. Hope they werent meant only for Xoogsade
  12. I used to be in a Somali Students Union in my university. I found the Somali students very unco-operative, they all wanted to be part of it and yet not pay towards maintenance in paper or energy. This year, they dissolved it.
  13. ^^ Alrite, lemme take a wild guess - you suddenly remembered this poem and wanted to read it and know its meaning? Maybe you just recalled the best poem you ever read here and this sprung to mind? Or maybe you remembered I was once into poetry in my younger days and wanted to take me down memory lane? Come on brother...help me out here... why did u excavate this from the bottom of the heap - 2day?
  14. LOL@Jamaal..is this an attemp to really understand the poem or..er..dare I say, take the heat off your little friend? . A little too predictable, arent you?
  15. ^^ I knew you were studyin medicine, but why the obstetrics and gyneacology department? . I'd have every hair on ma body standing on edge if I saw a Somali man there...
  16. Congratulations, Athena! Your IQ score is 129 This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others. Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. You can easily make sense of complex issues and take an unusually creative approach to solving problems. Your strengths also make you a visionary. Even without trying you're able to come up with lots of new and creative ideas. And that's just a small part of what we know about you from your test results. hmmm.. ma IQ is deteriorating..
  17. ^^ I'm confused, what are you contesting? the divorce or the party? Obviously divorce is not a good thing, but I dont see any harm in the girl's friends trying to cheer her up after the messy incident. Get some of our close friends and families together, bring gifts and food and make her feel better about herself Note this is 5 months proceeding the divorce. I dont blv a divorce as such is something to celebrate as its not a happy event (there r exceptions of course. A huge divorce settlement is indeed cause for celebration )... but there is absolutely no harm is throwin a party for a divorced friend to cheer her up and shower her with some goodies/gifts. Unless you were against the whole idea of a party - which would be food for thought another day. Dont we all just love taking the self-righteous route. Sorry Raula, but interspersed islamic sayings on a post doesnt make it seem any more credible.
  18. OH my! I was planning on joinin Yoga classes this year to overcame the pressure and stress. I dont see how it can be a sin if its practiced for the purpose of destressing and exercising. The fact that it originated from India and indian culture doesnt seem like enough reason to condemn it. Allahu yaclam
  19. A brilliant therapeutic idea for some1 on the rebound. I think your friend will appreciate your efforts - go for it. She is prolly glad its all over rather than feeling sad and depressed about its failure.
  20. Dude! The lady needs to look like she has has a well off man infront of her friends....buy her the damn gold, you r being selfish..

    Energy Colours

Your Energy is Orange. Restless at times, you are a very focused self starter. People with orange energy are organized, inspirational and design concious. You are confident in your abilities and like to be in control. You would make a good architect, teacher, designer, or entreprenuer. What color is your energy? brought to you by Quizilla
  22. The issue of control is ludicrous. No1 needs to control or be controlled. I blv in respecting each other's wishes, desires and ambitions. About age - well, the younger the better . I used to mind even speaking to guys younger than I'm, but its really doesnt matter anymore, i even like them better young
  23. Xoogsade Seven of Nine , "Cool" as in "I am glad you are young" or "Cool" as in "I at least got one guess correct"? LOL. The first option has deeper more subtle meaning to it, so comment wisely. The second One, should you opt for it, is given to help you save face if you don't want to admitt to the first one Complicated enough? LOL. Inteen ka baxaa, Meel Alla waaye. It is that which you want it to be
  24. ^ You didnt contest the 'young' part .
