I think its unfair that you should all gang up on me like this. I honestly thought these kinda cheap shots n snide remarks were beneath some of you (specially you JUM)....apparently its not.

RAULA, Attacked? Where on this thread did I attack some1? Since you’re incapable of comprehending things, let me show u one more time what I said What a waste of time, effort n space this thread is! Did I direct my statement at any1 in particular? … NO. I’m sure you so conveniently surpassed this statement by GB directed at me though --- Waraa G n P what happen to your waardiye Job... oo did I say waraa? I ment ..............HAhahaa Yarta shaqo yeelo aa lagu dhahay. This is a great topic. Maybe you don’t find this offensive, but I do. Girl, if you’ve some unknown grudge against me, come out n say it. Don’t hide behind this smokescreen of fair-mindedness. You keep calling other posts that are disinteresting to you IGNORANT, SENSELESS, USELESS, PATHETIC, etc and you don’t detect your own, REPREHENSIBLE, BIASED, INCONSIDERATE, INSOLENT ones-very incongruous What a loaded statement!!! I’ve called some1’s comments ignorant..because they were and I stand by it. There is difference between calling some1's idea/opinion ignorant and calling them so. But useless, pathetic and senseless…uhm…maybe you can bring forth proof instead of making all this speculative analysis and perceived harshness out of this air . As for me being all those unruly things u mentioned -- I'm not. I am biased, every1 is biased…You aught to go back the initial statements on the board when you sign up…which states as follows : “NOTE: Moderators are not necessarily "NEUTRAL". They certainly do have their own opinion about the subject being discussed.†So if you dont like it... touch luck! About your Swahili-written posts – this is SomaliaOnline. Perhaps the part is says for Somalis has escaped your slack attention….but since I don’t care for anything you say…. . Finally, I didn’t need the permission of any of you who feel the need to criticise me to become a moderator. Neither are your opinions of any value to me or the administrators of this site. So please, save yourselves the trouble. My position as a moderator or any other moderator is not even open for discussion. Funny that you’re so quick to banish me when I haven’t even exercised any of my powers YET. Ha! This truly is pathetic now. NGONGE Just before you try to censor me for the Arabic words, what they mean is that if the “head†of the house was busy playing the drums, it stands to reason that the rest of the family would be fond of dancing. (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge I'll stop beating the drums as of now. Consider this a one time Favour.

Raula, all I read are big empty jargon crammed sentences and swahili-written posts coming from you these days gabadha. Nothing you write makes sense to me and I detect a tone of envy in your words. Who made you the spokesperson for the "Master Spammers" Group? To justify myself or even make sense of your intentions for blatantly attacking me twice would be to dignify your reasonless advances. Does it say moderator under my nick? ..... no...didnt think so! . So read before you jump the reply button and decide to spew insults at me or undermine my position. **wonders who else will come out of the woodworks to have their little say** ... charming indeed!

Garab n Simply, you're being vindictive and painfully petty. I realize this is what you do on a regualr basis here and these sorta topics appeal to you, so dont stop on my account... but dont expect to engage me by addressing me  . I wont bother with the likes of you.

^^ do you have to say 'sh!t' n 'walaahi' in the same sentence? Sounded tasty until u decided to use the word 'sh!t'

I downloaded it once and uninstalled it just as quick. The idea of complete strangers trying to ring you and make conversation seems eerily awkward. This is different from paltalk where you can just join a room and not have to chat with any1 in particular. Might give it another shot in the future. So whats your username Element 6?

^^ Why o why did you have to bring this topic back? let sleeping dogs lie for God's sake!

Originally posted by - Nifty -: little tip before you post your idea/s in here, print it out put it in an envelope stamp it and mail it to your current address...once it's delivered DO NOT OPEN IT keep it somewhere safe...that way you have proof that this was your idea then we can pursue the lawsuit ^^ The logic went right over my head. Come again. I'd like to start a restuarant. That way, I'm really reducing poverty/hunger and generating profit

^^ I've considered that, but 'has not accepted' does not translate to 'could not' or 'was not in a position to'. I think the translation implied that Somalia did not accept willingly.

I read this little article in the metro today which stated : "The 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child is a set of non-negotiable standards and obligations. IT states all children everywhere have the right to survival, to develop to the fullest, to protection from harmful influences, abuse and exploitation and to participate fully in family, cultural and social life. The agreement protects children by setting standards in health care, education and legal, civil and social services - benchmarks against which progress can be assessed. It has been ratified by 192 countries. Only two countries - the US and Somalia have not accepted it" Am I to assume Somalia is against children's rights or didnt have a government in place at the time? More info on the convention: Source Countries that signed it and declarations they placed on it. Source

Somali church leader concerned about situation of Christians

I dont know if I should write a proper reply to the little people's uprising or let them carry on in their bashful insinuations ... What do u think GB? SIMPLY? Raula? Tahliil? To reply to you all in a nutshell (since I no more have the luxury of time), I'm glad we all agree their comments needed to be edited. About my tone -- I've always expressed myself this way, dont know why you'd expect me to change just cuz I'm a mod... Try and distinguish my opinion from my role. -
Glasses? Girls, you're a couple of years behind. Try coloured contacts - does wonders for your image and perceived persona. **Admirably sports her grey coloured contacts **

Wiilo and Qac Qac, I’ve deleted all your ignorant comments – cuz they were said out of ignorance and intolerance. Where do you two get off thinking you’ve the authority to kill people and Somalia belongs to you and your ilk? Political correctness, professional attitude iyo diinta waxba kama taqaaniin,. It really makes me angry when I hear of Somalis talking about killing other Somalis on religious or tribal grounds. This mentality is beyond me and any1 even mentioning it as a JOKE needs to be thought some serious self-discipline. Waxaad ku nooshihiin wadan gaalo, you’re allowed to practice your religion and given the same rights as any other citizen, so how you can harbour such hatred and be so intolerant towards others is shocking to me. This is an excerpt from an Islamic History site. The Spread of Islam From the oasis cities of Makkah and Madinah in the Arabian desert, the message of Islam went forth with electrifying speed. Within half a century of the Prophet's death, Islam had spread to three continents. Islam is not, as some imagine in the West, a religion of the sword nor did it spread primarily by means of war. It was only within Arabia, where a crude form of idolatry was rampant, that Islam was propagated by warring against those tribes which did not accept the message of God--whereas Christians and Jews were not forced to convert. Outside of Arabia also the vast lands conquered by the Arab armies in a short period became Muslim not by force of the sword but by the appeal of the new religion. It was faith in One God and emphasis upon His Mercy that brought vast numbers of people into the fold of Islam. The new religion did not coerce people to convert. Many continued to remain Jews and Christians and to this day important communities of the followers of these faiths are found in Muslim lands. Moreover, the spread of Islam was not limited to its miraculous early expansion outside of Arabia. During later centuries the Turks embraced Islam peacefully as did a large number of the people of the Indian subcontinent and the Malay-speaking world. In Africa also, Islam has spread during the past two centuries even under the mighty power of European colonial rulers. Today Islam continues to grow not only in Africa but also in Europe and America where Muslims now comprise a notable minority Source Read and Reflect + Re-read FF and XU’s wise words. Somalia is not 100% Muslim and minorities need to be protected. This is not to further Christianity in Somalia and there is a fine line between practicing and preaching. Live and Let live. -

I really like girls who wear the hijab yet are very trendy with it. Not sporting ur typical or all round black look. They stand out to me. The rest, hijabed or not..just look like they could use some help in the wardrobe department.
