  1. TO: OG_Moti I can't believe that you are supporting suicide attacks, where many Israeli innocent civilians die ever day as result of Suicid attack. I am totally against any form of terrror that would couse the loose of civilian lives. I alsso strongly disagree with the tac ticks that the Israeli forces use to punish those who were behind the suicide attacks. you need to be more broad minded.and look these issue on all sides and all angles. any suicide attack would not serve the interest of the palestinians..Palestinian people must come together and condemn these acts of terror that coused the loose of many innocent lives. I really do sypathise the struggle of palestinian people, but they always fail to end the violence, they don't have the power to stop these outlawd groups who's intentions is to get rid of all the jewish who live peacefully in Israel, and this will never happen. I do support the idea of creating new palestinian State that would live peacefuly with Israel. But violens first must came to an end.
  2. TO: Gamadiid Your response comments, are short sided, naeive, and full propaganda. You don't know about the roots of our values. You are inconsistant with your perception about American't values. From my perspective of you perception, you are absolutely not sure about the motivations and the work our government does in internal and external.but you are well educated in the negative side of our government. I am Proud to be an American and I enjoy the freedom and the civil liberties with my fellow american citizens.
  3. TO: MIZZ_UNIQUEE I agree with you that we are entitled with our opinions, and of course you have the right to have freedom of speech, but it is obviouse that you hate America's values and what we stand for, I am not surprised because you misunderstood the whole concept of being a great citizen.let me confess that sometimes your comments are worthless to reply. Proud To Be American.
  4. TO:Man of Freedom I agree with you 100% we are in a dangeriouse world, where you can't see your enemy, they can attack you any give day..whether it is dark or day light..it is imperative that we unite against these outlawed groups..who's objetives is to create fear in the heart of the masses.. May God Bless American
  5. TO: Mizz_Uniquee You have the right to disagree with my comments, but you don't have the right, to side track my comments forcing me to adopt your perception. It is obviouse that I am somali, but at the same time, American Citizen. just because I am American citizen and I support our governments role in the world, tha6t does not mean I am morally and culturally lost. You are inconsistent with your previouse remarks. You are obliviouse about my perception of being an American citizen. Next time you respond to my comments, make sure you are constructive with your arguement instead of critizising me.
  6. TO: Guuleedyare. I was not clear with your response comments, but you must be day dreaming.coz somalia was never to be near re-uniting, America was never responsible of killing and commiting atrocities in somalia. but instead it is the other way around. America want to see somali United. If our intensions were to subdivide somalia, we would have already recognized the so Called "SomaliLand" Blame the killing and the atrocities to your former regime.coz Siyaad bare's regime was oppressive and he was him self dictator. =================================================== TO: Lander. Our nation has the right to act when it is necessary. We are necessitated to use lethal force when options are limited. The United Nations was born in the hope that survived a world war the hope of a world moving toward justice, escaping old patterns of conflict and fear. The founding members resolved that the peace of the world must never again be destroyed by the will and wickedness of any man. We created the United Nations Security Council, so that, unlike the League of Nations, our deliberations would be more than talk, our resolutions would be more than wishes. After generations of deceitful dictators and broken treaties and squandered lives, we dedicated ourselves to standards of human dignity shared by all, and to a system of security defended by all. Today, these standards, and this security, are challenged. Our commitment to human dignity is challenged by persistent poverty and raging disease. Above all, our principles and our security are challenged today by outlaw groups and regimes that accept no law of morality and have no limit to their violent ambitions. In the attacks on America we saw the destructive intentions of our enemies. This threat hides within many nations, including my own. In cells and camps, terrorists are plotting further destruction, and building new bases for their war against civilization. And our greatest fear is that terrorists will find a shortcut to their mad ambitions when an outlaw regime supplies them with the technologies to kill on a massive scale. Iraq was among those nations that were supplying all kinds assistance to international terrorists. We succesfully dismantle Saddam's regime. We have to act when ever we have to act,As a suppoer power it is our obligation to defend freedom, peace, and the security of the civilized world.
  7. TO: king I have precisely understood your points and where you are comming from..And I do agree with you that we have the right to disagree with our nation.we don't have to be followers to everything. and it is imperativ to know what is going around. But you have to understand. Our nations was copping with the 9/11 disaster at the same time our nations was facing strong threats from saddam's regime. It would be unwise to hold our support from our government when our nations is facing major crisis in internal and external. Our troops need our support, this would boost their moralities and will tell them that they are doing the right thing to fight for our contries security and for the oppressed people. When Saddam's regime was austed by our invasion we all so from the T.V the pride faces that generated among the Iraqi people. We succesfuly got rid of Saddam's regime and we secured the security and the peace of the civilized world. Iraqi people were also liberated.
  8. TO:Hijabified Sista There is always variouse reason to critisize one another but perhaps we need to be some what broad minded and look the whole picture in all sides. It would definitely not serve my interest to grab your attention..but if my intension was to grab your attention well then I already succeeded. If you are disagree with my comments. you don't have to side track my comments. You can volunteerly add your perspective..simple as it is.
  9. TO: Silent_Sistah You are totally misleaded by your own misconceptions, you have to understand, just because American is full filling it's obligations to respond to any threat to the civilized world from any nation, that does not mean this War is against Islam. Our president made it clear to his fellow citizen that we are not fighting against Islam, but those who hide behind Islam. The world knows Islam is a religion of peace that teachs tolerant and kindness. more then billion people practice Islam. but Moslems must also condame all forms of terror. As the President spoke with passion and conviction on the need to rid the world of Hussein's dictatorship, he cut through the rhetoric and the misleading positions and promises that had been so often heard during the past few years. He made it clear that this was an ultimatum of more than words--action was sure to follow if his words were left unheeded. He did everything he could to make it abundantly clear to Saddam Hussein and the people of the world that such evil would not be allowed to stand. He stated a final deadline. Iraq is better of today without Saddam. We all have seen the pride among those American forces freed. Proud TO BE American
  10. TO: Sniper_80 Knowing these realities, America must not ignore the threat gathering against us. Facing clear evidence of peril, we couldn't wait for the final proof -- the smoking gun -- that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud.the United States of America, nor the world community of nations can tolerate deliberate deception and offensive threats on the part of any nation, large or small. We no longer live in a world, where only the actual firing of weapons represents a sufficient challenge to a nations security to constitute maximum peril." Understanding the threats of our time, knowing the designs and deceptions of the former Iraqi regime, we have had every reason to assume the worst, and we have had an urgent duty to prevent the worst from occuring. Some believes we could have addressed this danger by simply resuming the old approach to inspections, and applying diplomatic and economic pressure. Yet this is precisely what the world has tried to do since 1991.
  11. TO:Pyromaniac_Pixie America has ideas that defends It's Ideals. America is not there to dominate the world but to ensure the safety and the security of every human being. If America's ideal were not put to acction, It would virtualy be impossible for you to survive in this dangerouse world..You should thank America and it's armed forces
  12. Americans are doing the work of compassion every day -- visiting prisoners, providing shelter for battered women, bringing companionship to lonely seniors. These good works deserve our praise; they deserve our personal support; and when appropriate, they deserve the assistance of government. We as somali's need to follow the foot steps of our fellow American citizen, The more we follow these pisitive steps the more we create great soceity within our ranks! 15. First, some ask why Iraq is different from other countries or regimes that also have terrible weapons. While there are many dangers in the world, the threat from Iraq stands alone, because it gathers the most serious dangers of our age in one place. Iraq's weapons of mass destruction were controlled by a murderous tyrant who has already used chemical weapons to kill thousands of people. This same tyrant has tried to dominate the Middle East, has invaded and brutally occupied a small neighbor, has struck other nations without warning, and holds an unrelenting hostility toward the United States. By its past and present actions, by its technological capabilities, by the merciless nature of its regime, Iraq is unique."The fundamental problem with Iraq remains the nature of the regime, itself. Saddam Hussein is a homicidal dictator who is addicted to weapons of mass destruction." Some of you raised concerns whether I am somali or not, But let me admit that I am 100% somali, but at the same time I am an American Citizen, and I do share the value of my fellow American citizens. And of course even if somalia where I originated from, posses a great threat to the civilized world, I would endorse any invasion to Somalia that would save the world. For those of you who live in the United States and hate America's role in the world, and it's value, I would advise you to leave America because it is not good place for you! Proud To Be American! 16. TO:somealien The Islam that we know is a faith devoted to the worship of one God, as revealed through The Holy Qu'ran. It teaches the value and importance of charity, mercy, and peace. And it is one of the fastest growing religions in America, with millions of American believers today. The American Muslim community is as varied as the many Muslim communities across the world. Muslims from diverse backgrounds pray together in mosques all across our great land. And American Muslims serve in every walk of life, including our Armed Forces
  17. TO: Somealien, Winger,Pyromaniac_Pixie,CLOWN,stpaulchick, Mizz_UNQUE I do agree with you to certain degree, Yes you are 100%, that we brought Saddam into power. but when we brought him to power, he was a great leader, that we thought he would heal the wonds of Iraqi people, and he would turn his country into properouse. But all of sudden he turned to Evil, Invading, Iran, Kuwait, Killing his own nationals. The threats came from Iraq. It arised directly from the Iraqi regime's own actions -- its history of aggression, and its drive toward an arsenal of terror. Eleven years ago, as a condition for ending the Persian Gulf War, the Iraqi regime was required to destroy its weapons of mass destruction, to cease all development of such weapons, and to stop all support for terrorist groups. The Iraqi regime has violated all of those obligations. It possesses and produces chemical and biological weapons. It is seeking nuclear weapons. It has given shelter and support to terrorism, and practices terror against its own people. The entire world has witnessed Iraq's eleven-year history of defiance, deception and bad faith. We know that Iraq and the al Qaeda terrorist network share a common enemy -- the United States of America. We know that Iraq and al Qaeda have had high-level contacts that go back a decade. Some al Qaeda leaders who fled Afghanistan went to Iraq. America believes that all people are entitled to hope and human rights, to the non-negotiable demands of human dignity. People everywhere prefer freedom to slavery; prosperity to squalor; self-government to the rule of terror and torture. America is a friend to the people of Iraq. Our demands are directed only at the regime that enslaves them and threatens us. When these demands are met, the first and greatest benefit will come to Iraqi men, women and children. The oppression of Kurds, Assyrians, Turkomans, Shi'a, Sunnis and others will be lifted. The long captivity of Iraq will end, and an era of new hope will begin. Proud To be An American.
  18. To:OG-Girl,Jamilah,Rahima. Your reponse was unpleasant...I am deeply disappointed with your all responses. But I am not surprised the negative perception of America is growing in big numbers among those who are hatters and hate the values of America. and what America stands for! During the War on Iraq, I strongly believe we have fought for the cause of liberty, and for the peace of the world. Our nation and our coalition are proud of this accomplishment we achieved And there is no way I am going to buy from all of you that this war was injustice, and was not justified, The world is safe now from Saddam's Threat, and his weopons of mass destruction! -------------------- Proud to Be An American
  19. We as somalian's should have supported the War on Iraq.I am deeply disappointed with so many somalians who despise America's values, when they immigrated from Somalia to United States. They Dont' remember American is the only country that started to help somalian refugees, we brought many somalian in the United States to start fresh life and share the American dream. I have had discussion about the war on Iraq with lots of somali's they all had negative perception about America's intention to invade Iraq. I strongly believe America did the right thing to invade Iraq and dismantle Saddam' regime. Saddams regime was oppressive to the Iraqi people. America has obligation as a super power. It is the responsibity for American people to defend the ideals they stand for. America did the right thing, they invaded Iraq and liberated the Iraqi people from their oppressive regime. If I were immigration officer I would strip of the pass port of many somali American citizens. America stands for Freedom, liberties. As an American citizen we have strong value. 20. Should We Be Killing Each other From my own perspective,I believe the U.S did the right thing to dismantle the former Iraqi regime. Iraq is better of today with out Saddam. I know U.S has other interest in Iraq, but Saddam defintitely need to go.
  21. If we are somali's that does not mean we should agree to disagree. it remains to be mystery why we act the way we act. One of the things that I have noticed is that when ever we are engaged in some kind of discussion, we get impatient to hear from each other. Moreover, In any kind of discussion, each of us one to have say. and each of us want others to agree with him/her.and finally we fail to solve our difference. The interesting about this, is that we also never get tired of it, I also have noticed that when ever we hear what we dont' like, instead of commenting about our perception we actually critisize the person. I wonder when we will ever understand each other..
  22. Some of you said we agree to disagree, because we hate each other, well " Hate" of course plays a role with this issue, but we cannot determine why we hate each other. It is something still we cannot describe in words, of why we hate each other remains to be unsolved issue. But i have now realized that, we never accept our responsibilities, we always like to blame others, and moreover, we hate to be patient if we encounter negative perception. From the sociological perspective, it seems we always fail to look the issue we disagree on all sides. and that is the main problem, that is where the conflict occures.
  23. One of the obviouse things about our culture is we always agree to disagree. I have noticed that when ever somali's came together in a meetings, conferences, discussion. they always fail to solve their differences. It is highly unlikely somali's to come together and solve their difference and produce a solution. for example when i gaze the political scene in somalia and our political learders. Everytime they attempt to produce results it is always abrotive. But not only our political leaders, we it seems we all share these things, we always agree to disagree... This questiom remains still unsolved...untill answered!!!!
