  3. What is M Society? Do you mean kuwa Malayga cuna? Waligay Kaluun maan taaban.

Maybe nobody told you, but in Somaliland we dont have Masters and league tables. You are confusing with Puntland, where you have Kings, Royals, Masters and common people who refered to as laan gaab who are there to serve the Kings. But in Somaliland we do not have any nobility, only very common people. And old people like me, who serve the people.

  7. Come on People, where are you suggestions? If I would ask Puntland people to come up with candidates for Minister post. They wouldnt wait one second to recommend themselves and their uncles.
  8. Originally posted by General Duke: quote:Pardon? Burco has never deliverd leaders in Somaliland?? President Egal was from Burco. President Abirahman Tuur was from Burco. Yeah but not that part of Burco, pardon. Tell us about Puntland and the three cousins who do the chair dancing game. Do they also let other people participate in the game?

Fatima is a good politician. Thats why she didnt want to sound to pro-Somaliland in a region where back then where Puntland was dominant. Now things have changed people have stood up against Puntland and Puntland has no more influence or position in Maakhir. And people have no more objections against Somaliland.

Chief, he won't be an independent thinking person anymore he will be part of a structure and policy of the government. Again, Fatima Jibrel should never get involved with the government, she is needed right where she is, and again she messes up her position. I object to the same reason. Why do you object to all Maakhir candidates?
  11. Originally posted by Oodweyne: ^^^ Chief Caqil, that is good one, indeed about pastoralism portfolio and other "miyi related" issue... But, on a serious note, I would advise the in-coming president, that he must consult wide and far. And above all else select a group of genuine technocrat to help him carry his policies for the nation. Whilst at the same time making sure that as Ngonge said it that all manner of "favours" would have to be paid back ( for that is the nature of the beast ); but still that must not be at the expense of a "competent team" leading the nation's affair, indeed. I agree. And I think you would be a perfect junior Minister. Even Duke become a one time Ambassador to Iran for his Uncle's goverment. So no need to be modest here. So as the self appointed Chief Recruiter for the Silaanyo Administration I want to recommend you as Vice-Minister for all myi, xal and xul related issue's.

The joy in Burco and the dancing is merited, since this group have never been leaders in NW Somalia let alone the republic. Its their time to shine. The unionists are overjoyed, we have a new leadership in Villa Morgan, this will present us many new opportunities. Pardon? Burco has never deliverd leaders in Somaliland?? President Egal was from Burco. President Abirahman Tuur was from Burco.
  13. sxb, your so called proof is a livestock ship. There first picture you showed us is a cargo ship(which go more then 3 meter under water) and those ones can not dock at Bossaso. If they could dock at Bosasso all the pirates would bring it there and empty the ship, but they cant. Cause it cant dock at Bossaso port.
  14. People have you no suggestions or names for our new President Silaanyo??
  15. Originally posted by *Ibtisam: He does not make the policy, he made proposals which were accepted and adopted. That is different. HE is an Independent Consultancy; If you make him a minister, he cannot do what he does best. Some of his other proposals such as the one about livestock were rejected. Ok, make him senior 'Consultant' or Advisor for President Silaanyo.

I think he would be more suitable on Governance, Justice and Law related issue's. The Somaliland constitution needs to be revised, more regional development, better governance, anti corruption, stronger judiciary. And for this we need a independent thinking person like Gees.
