ok guyz who ever know what biriani is here is how i make my special food and i only make these food on fridayz. What you need: one unripe papaya; peeled, seeded, and grated two cloves garlic, minced one teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and crushed two to three pounds of meat (mutton, beef, goat, or chicken), cut into serving-sized pieces two cups buttermilk or plain yogurt juice of two limes oil for frying four to six onions, sliced four to six potatoes, sliced Spices one-half teaspoon ground cardamom four whole cloves (these are "cloves" not "cloves of garlic") one small cinnamon stick (or a quarter teaspoon ground cinnamon) one-half teaspoon cumin seed (or a quarter teaspoon ground cumin) one-half teaspoon coriander seed (or a quarter teaspoon ground coriander) one-half teaspoon whole black peppercorns (or a quarter teaspoon ground pepper) a few pinches of salt two or three ripe tomatoes, chopped small can tomato paste three or four cups of rice What you do: Grind together the papaya, garlic, and ginger, mixing them into a paste. Place the mixture into a large pot and add the meat, buttermilk (or yogurt), and lime juice. Cover and begin to cook over a low heat, stirring regularly. Heat oil in a large skillet. Fry the onions in hot oil. When onions are browned, remove them from the skillet and set aside. Fry the potatoes in the same oil. When browned, remove the potatoes and set them aside. Keep oil in skillet. Grind together all the spices (or whichever ones you have) and add them to the meat mixture. Stir. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, and a few spoonfuls of oil from the skillet. Stir and continue to cook over low heat. Add warm water if sauce becomes to thick. Cook rice in the usual way. (One part rice to two parts water, with a little of the oil from the skillet.) The meat should be done by the time the rice is cooked. Pre-heat oven to medium heat. Line the edges of a large baking dish with the fried potatoes (save some of the potatoes for the top). Cover the bottom of the baking dish with a third of the cooked rice. Pour most of the meat mixture over the rice. (Save some of the meat mixture, keep it warm, and serve it with the biriani at the table.) Carefully cover the meat with a second layer of rice. Place the onions (but save a few onions for the top) over the second layer of rice. Cover the onions with the third layer of rice. Place the remaining potatoes and onions on the top. Bake this in a medium oven for twenty to thirty minutes. so my sujuu people i know by now you are busy trying to lick them fingers of yours.

salam angel yes i alwayz watch that after my classes and if you wanna know these is what happend. Jennifer almost loses her baby -- again! Hope lashes out at Marlena. How could she have murdered all these people? The gulf between Shawn and Belle widens. She must endure the excruciating moment as Marlena confesses to shooting Abe in cold blood. Lexie, devastated, leaves the room in tears. In the waiting area, Lexie warns Jennifer about what she's about to endure. As a doctor, Lexie worries the stress may be too much for Jennifer and her unborn baby. But Jennifer is determined to hear Marlena confess to killing Jack. As Marlena describes Jack's final few words, Jennifer breaks down in sobs. Mickey arrives to hear the gruesome details of Maggie's murder. Through a series of flashbacks, we see how the sinister serial killer preyed on Maggie's trust in the so-called good Dr. Evans. Marlena gloats; it was like leading a lamb to slaughter! Mickey is beside himself with rage. Hope finally lashes out at Marlena. How could she? And why? Why did she kill all those innocent people? Will Marlena finally reveal her motive? After hearing Marlena's confession, Jennifer asks Patrick to take her out for some fresh air. They go up to the hospital rooftop where Jennifer's emotions get the better of her, and she faints. For a while, Lexie fears Jennifer might lose her baby, but Patrick's stalwart support and his mysterious doubloon help her through. Julie and Bonnie play tug-of-war over Mickey, who is floored by the truth behind Maggie's death. Still in grief, he thinks he sees her in the hospital, but it is only Julie. Sami refuses to believe her mother could be guilty. She suspects John and Kate of plotting to frame her mom for the murders. Lucas tries to reason with Sami, but she won't listen. She bursts into Marlena's hospital room during the confession and rants that it's a set-up! The judge is not pleased. Bo insists Sami listen, as Marlena confesses to killing Maggie. Lucas is gut-punched. Sami is very conflicted. She still thinks John is responsible. Her mother can't be a killer! The gulf between Shawn and Belle widens as Marlena confesses. We see their love and commitment is strained almost to the breaking point. When Marlena admits to killing Shawn's Aunt Maggie, Belle makes a bleak assessment. Most of the victims are Shawn's relatives. How will Belle and Shawn ever have a future together. thats the question belle is thinking of. angel i hope you wanted to know what happend sis.

Do we feel our culture is inferior to the west?
Mombasa_QUEEN replied to Qac Qaac's topic in General
yes qac qac most somali people do fell that way and i'am one of them and its not that i hate being a somali peroson no but the point is ic my self being different form the other somali people and the reason why is it is becouse i wasent born in somalia but somehow i know the language and when it comes to culture when ever i try to do some mosr somali ppl i mean them pure one who where born in there try to tell me i know better these and that and let me do it so u might have seen alot of things like that and its true alot of people do get away from there own culture but sometimes its too much when it comes to reality. i hope i got to the point.
