  1. The Point - that's true I suppose. But we are not a fussy family...we eat what we get and we are grateful (or rather they eat what I cook and they don't complain....much).
  2. ^ Thanks. How are you, Faheema?
  3. ^ You're not impressed, miyaa? I think most of the traditional afur foods take ages to prepare. Who has that time?
  4. Abtigiis, waxba ha ii ham iyo digleen...anigu waan kuu tudhayey oo waxaan islahaa la tali ninka si uu qof nool isaga dhigo. Walaalo ha is ceebeen anaga ha na ceebeen ee odaygan NG iskaga hadh meel daran buu kaa ridayaaye.
  5. If I cook (and I only ever cook during Ramadan), I usually prepare greek salad, fruit cocktail, timir and water and juice for iftar. Followed by a normal dinner of bariis or baasto with some sort of meat dish later. Not sure about this Ramadan since iftar will be taking place a lot later than usual.
  6. A&T, waa maxay niicdu iyo waxaad ku hadlaysaa? War ninyow wax isku fal oo is adkee!
  7. ^ Ha ha, that's optimistic! My dear I've already chosen my path. Spinsterhood.
  8. To the editor of the Daily Star, You, sir, are the peddler of filth. Thank you. Val
  9. NG, that's alright as it is not advice I want from you. Goodbye JB, Zu. Lily, I was actually prepared to cough up, but as I was only 1lb over the limit, the nice American man checking me in let me off with a wink.
  10. Cara...ha naga tagin dee, waa ku sidee? Shaqadu can wait. About NG, I think he's always excited that one. Something to do with his chemical balance, methinks. Zu, I can't be harsh with him. I want him to look for a job for me.
  11. NG, why would I be deported? Unlike you, I don't do the khat thing, yeah? LoL@ spare vase. Damn, you're so mean sometimes! Zu, that wasn't me. I've nothing to flog unfortunately.
  12. Forget work and stay and troll with us, Cara. Hi Ibti, yes I'm back and doing well, A/H. Thanks for asking. How are you keeping?
  13. ^ And if you don't look at the ground, you are very likely to step on dog poo. Hello you poor sad trollers.

  15. ^ Spent my three weeks with the family in MN, and I think I bankrupted them - I've never received so many gifts in my life! Definitely enjoyed it, A'H.
  16. Aw, my vacation is over - it's back to wet London, I'A.
  17. DD, not as many as you would imagine, but Iam going through an unstable period. You know when everything is up in the air and you feel like you're spinning out of control? A bit like that. The gender-bashing is cyclical and expected. Everyone gets bored of it after a while. Che, then I prescribe over the counter muscle-relaxants - you know the ones that come in gel or spray form and heat up when you use them? They work very well for spasms. Dr Val over and out.
  18. Dee, I imagine it would be very heavy. But I do like it when things are in the offing. The hopefulness of it.
  19. Hi Dee. Ma faydaa? Maxaa cusub? [Edit] - Urm, the question is clinical, as I mentioned already. It helps to know where the problem is before you offer advice.
  20. ^ Hello you. Hi Ibti. Che, just out of clinical interest, muruqu xakuu kaaga taaganyahay?
  21. I guess it is the Somali Women-bashing season. I think I'll hold on to my comments till the men's turn. *Goes in search of her customised budh*
