....AND ON THAT NOTE: WLC Diamante! Scorpion will be showing you the ropes and your living quarters. And dont mind her, her bark is worse than her bite.
-
Ahem....lets leave the demented NGONGE out of this please.
-
Warm welcome to Lander and xarago.

Sounds like both of you are dreaming... Og-gal would never marry either of you. For one, she's not blind and for another, I wouldn't let her.
-
Ok...sounds logical. I just wonder if the gut-feeling should count for more than it does?
-
^^ So, how does someone go about 'marrying right'? As far as I can see, there's really no way to tell if the person is the right one for you, till you're actually married, and prolly for a while too. So, how does one make sure they 'marry right'?

^ A liitle. U know how hard it is to get hablahaa out of the house. Dacawo, LoL...If I knew that do u think waxaan isku wareerin lahaa dhooreyaasha? Tut tut... Classique, WoW...sounds like you guys are doing an incredible amount of work. Well done.

Gediid, LoL! Luv the sarcasm! Fair enuf, but its your loss. Shob Waxba ha walwalin, Gediid dadkiinan ayuu istusayaa. He will be begging to join the frog ranks b4 too long.

Its not just the athletes tho is it? Its suppose to be the whole Olympic team of that country in the parade, so I was surprised to see her alone too. Cant believe they would send out only one girl to the OLYMPICS!!! Where's her support? She is one of the long-distance runners, isnt she? I remember seeing a female runner from Jibouti competing before, tho I cant be sure if its the same girl. In any case, she's done her country proud.

The only sport I ever took up in school was trampolining (sp?)...u know, the one where u jump up and down on an elastic thingybobby. I do like watching footie tho, and I have been following the (uk) women's teams...even caught the women's FA Cup final on TV (wicked)..but I never played. That's not to say that Bend it like Beckham didnt make me want to take up the sport, but the urge only lasted for 5 mins on account of my allergic reaction to anything remotely excercisy.
-
Rainbow, True, I was well confused too. Happy to see the Somalis' showing their faces though. Did u see the lone girl holding the flag for Jibouti? Heart-wrenching I tell ya...brought tears to my eyes. Mansha'Allah.
-
^ You would think so, wouldn't ya? But even my dhooreyaal have gotten into the habit of letting me down. I should just cut their leashes and let them loose...useless frogs. Erm...what are you doing?

The local gentlemen's club? Anyway it looks like a good film altho I didnt see the first one, but as usual I have been let down...no-one wants to see it wiv me.

^^ Perhaps. However, there are many areas where there arent any Muslim community centres and the Mosque is the only provider of these services.

DO welcome dear, but one piece of advice? Dont ask ppl's ages!

Howdy Juxjux, I see Gediid is trying to incite a cat-fight between two loving siblings once again... I had a nice Friday actually, ALhamdulilaah. Lets see...I was woken up by a hug from my 3-year-old cousin. My aunt made me breakfast...nice laxoox and tea. Then I took the said 3-year-old (who was being as good as gold surprisingly) to the nursery. Went over to my mum's and had a nice lunch, before making my way to my great-nan's house and watching a bit of day-time TV. Picked up the 3-year-old...fed him and took him to his mum b4 making my way back to the TV.... All in all, a rather nice, active, de-stressing day. NOW, what to do? Shall I stay in and watch the Olympics opening ceremony or shall I nip out to the cinema and catch The Bourne Supremacy? Hmmmm....cinema methinks. Tata

Not that I want to get involved in this discussion (I would rather eat raw eggs), but I do believe some of the male nomads are over-looking the important role the masjid plays in Muslim communities in the West. Yes, we are all aware that we can pray at home and receive more ajar for the simple act, but masjids are not solely for prayers. They are the hub of the community, providing crucial services such as education for men, women and children alike, support and counselling, fundraising for worthy causes and overall guidance on top of prayers. Therefore, since the masjids are the best places for Muslims to meet other Muslims (so important in areas without much Muslim populations), get involved in community affairs, follow current affairs (from the Islamic perspective), it only seems fair that the building should meet the needs of all...especially in these countries, and in the current hostile environment against Muslims. And most critically because there are thousands of vulnerable muslim women who need these services and the masjid more than anything else. Let's not be short-sighted.

^^ kaalay, cidi weli meyna kuu sheegin in shaaha badan lagu badhqo miyaa? Miskiina... *Thinks about giving up the evil drink too*

^^ Dhikh dhikh dhikh...Good one! Baashi, ^^Midnight jazz melodies  Ahem, midnight? I bet...never mind  Erm...r u ok B? NGONGE, Bee is the one I was picturing as the dusty old pot with the smelly baarixi baasto. In the words of Bart Simpson, Eat my shorts! Johhny B ChickEN ppl Like 7of9 A-sun and RAULA for that matter missed to snatch Johhny B b4 he was banned , instead of licking the smelly feet of Jumatatu,GNONGE and Shoobaro. You forget Johhny has been round the block more often than Shoobaro has joy-ridden in a stolen car! So, you can understand our reluctance to 'snatch' him. As for the feet-licking...I'm afraid am not the one with the foot fetish.

^^ Is that what midgets are telling each other now? Ahh, how adorable! Seven, Just like me, you mite have a bigger personality than average ppl like Barwaaqo. Touche. Nice list BTW. I have heard that the vertically-challenged make up for their lack of height by excelling in other ways. Which is evidently true judging from that distinguished list. Then again...not every shortie succeeds. Raula, Adigu iska aamus, miss-oh-poor-me-I'm-sooo-tall.
-
Modesty... 5'4? LoL...sounds like you escaped fron dwarfism by mere inches. Then again there are ppl like Seven who are even shorter.

Someone is asking for advice from NGONGE?! That's what I call aduunyo gadoon!
