^ Have you seen Dirty Pretty Things? It was about that - illegal immigrants having to sell their organs to pay for passage to Western countries or to afford basic necessities. Pretty good film. As for your paranoi...you'll die when its your time (whether the doctors try their best or not). the Dead deserve a respect. And so do the living.
-
^ Oh please.

I'm an organ donor....got the card a year or so ago. I don't see what the fuss is. We donate blood, don't we? If a sibling needed a kidney, we would give it to them, wouldn't we? So what makes this any different? And ultimately, what do I care what happens to my organs once am dead? I would rather have them put to good use, thanks.

'Ceremonial humping'? Classy.

I watched a nature programme about monkeys a while ago, and I remember seeing a scene about chimps having same-sex orgies. Curled my toes, that did. Gay dogs don't sound so bad in comparison.

Harmful Cultural Practices against Women around the World

Sacré bleu! Alle-Ubaahne, If you're expecting admiration or applause for supposedly 'sticking' to your culture, I'm sorry to say there's none forthcoming. Female circumcision needs to be left in the past where it belongs, it has no place in the future. Now, do excuse me while I hurl. -
^ Sure...I have heard of such wierd names (see any celebrity offspring). Apple? Tallullah Lilac? Peaches? Tiger Woods? and my fave: Dick Woodcock (an old teacher).

Moral of the story: Waking up too early in the morning will result in surreal experience.

Life after Uni is often CRAP to begin with, but it improves eventually. And you're right, this topic should be in the student forum.

That's not a bad idea. If you could PM them to me, I would be grateful. And by all means do visit Kew Gardens the next time you're in this neck of the woods, Insha'Allah. Its absolutely amazing. -

^ Do you live in the UK by any chance? I only ask because I visited the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew a few years ago and was gobsmacked by the number of plants exclusive to Somalia they hold. The realisation that, due to the huge loss of biodiversity in the region, most, if not all, of these florae are probably extinct by now, is quite sobering. This is their website... -
Zu, Still having delusions about ruling the world, eh? Plonker! GnP, No reserves whatsoever. But its sorted, one of the nurses has agreed to go out and get all of our lunches (thank God it wasn't me). Norf, I also queued to renew my Oyster card Don't tell me you've joined the commuter ranks?
-
^ Anarchy? Not on your nelly! Jump a queue and not only will you be attacked, but no court will convict the attacker.
