Zephrine, I know. Some people really are confused and have a whacky sense of loyalty. You havent answered my question. What would YOU do? (I keep thinking....would I put my own mother/father/sibling/child behind bars? Am I capable of that? Or is it all talk at the end?) Femme, Mother/father/sibling/child...the most important people in your life. How easy would it be to turn them in? But I would. If I knew 100% that they committed the crime and that they had no intention of owning up, I would most definitely turn them in. I couldn't live with myself otherwise. Couldn't look at them either. Probably the safest place for them would be in jail anyway, because I would want to cause them as much pain and grief as possible for doing something that evil and destroying their own as well as their families' lives. But talk is cheap, as you well know.

'Jinniyo' is ATTRACTION and not physical beauty per se. Someone can be extremely attractive without being beautiful and vice versa. Here we are talking about plain physical beauty..ergo, symmetrical features.
  3. Animal Farm : As for me, if one of my family members committed murder, rape and etc. I would rather not know about an they keep it to themselves – I’m good as long as they’re not recommitting the crime and they’ve acknowledged what they did was wrong, but if they’re parading about it, I’d say talk to them and make sure they know what they did was not right and they should ask for forgiveness and not be proud about it. Are you kidding me?!
  4. Haven't been reading or watching the news last couple of weeks. I am out of the loop as it happens. As you were.
  5. Femme, Why do you think Somalis who commit vicious crimes are always speedily sent back home? Family-ties and justice apparently don't have anything to do with each other. Even a man who rapes his own relative (same DNA/same family) will get the same protection. Makes you think, doesn't it?
  6. Lies Lies Lies : The Met Police's attempted cover-up of the Menezes Shooting. Basically all the early statements by the police seem to have been anything but accurate.
  7. How the devil are you hope you’re well. Devilishly well, dear. Walking on cloud nine. A/H.
  8. ^ Shax shax iyo nus. How are you, B? Thanks for the link.
  9. How horrific! My God... May Allah rest their souls in peace.
  10. Originally posted by juxa: I really don’t see how fidel’s remarks are good job, and dawaco's referred as pettyful. One stated fact, the other tried to create an argument. Call a spade spade and let the ‘dhago hadal’ stop here and now. We all have lives outside sol and this is neither productive nor good picture of our characters. And you fidel, dawaco is more than your match, so I wont even bother with your likes. Clearly you get a kick out of making things worse, and starting yet another war of words. [/QB] LoL...Bal ma anaa waalan mise cadan baa laga heesayaa? Walee waxbaanu aragnay. Ngonge ayaan la yaabi jirey markuu yiraaho dadku waxba ma akhriyaan. Juxa, please don't put words in my mouth. My post was clear. It was good of Fidel to apologise and Dawoco's remarks were clearly petty digs aimed at the moderators. Wax 'dhaga hadal' ah anigu ma arko, mana fahamsani ujeedadiina, markaa dee wixii idin hayaba waan idiin deyn. Maxaa kaloo la sameyn? Waa in laka roonaado ileene. Macsalaama.
  11. I am saying YOU are symmetric, Zu. As well as exotic and hot and sizzling and innocently sexy...
  12. Rihana...hello dear, how are you? Took me a bit to place the name. Emotional unattachment is, I think, a symptom of deeper problems, be it emotional damage, depression, grief, stress or whatever else. Therefore I do think women are more than capable of having such relationships. It is like wanting to be looked after or wanting a companion but at the same time not wanting to deal with any feelings or emotions. Everything is in lockdown, so to speak. But there may be something to ur 'using' theory, as well. A lot of people do use the opposite gender of course, but in a way that has more to do with being selfish or self-centred, than being emotionally distant. But it helps, I suppose, otherwise you wouldn't be able to use someone you care about or are attached to. Brown, Its as if they make a Triba call to one another: *Ululuaaalluaaleeyyy*!You attack one and the entire Battery follows suit! . LoL...I think you have been watching too much of Xena: Warrior Princess. But I hear what you're saying.
  13. ^ LoL...Do I detect conceit, B? I have read that physical beauty, more than anything else, has much to do with how symmetrical the facial features are. And I suppose it is true.
  14. Fidel..that was good of you. I wonder where the edit/delete happy moderators have all gone off to. They are usually very prompt in making sure everyone follows the rules and all why haven't sol rules been upheld so far? Unless one set of rules apply to some and a total set are reserved for others, of course Intresting though, that other topics are immidiately edited at the hint of an attack, but this one has been left in tact. Such petty digs are neither clever nor useful. The Mods have lives outside of SOL. Clearly, we can't be here all the time.
  15. These sorts of scams have been around for ages. What I have been getting recently are emails informing me that someone has attempted to log on to my eBay account from a different IP address and could I confirm if it was me or not by logging in again through the 'secure' link provided. But I don't have an eBay account.
  16. Probably G, probably. Hope you had a groovy weekend.
  17. Clearly, most of you have not noticed just how hunky some pizza-delivery boys are. I’m just speculating here but regardless it scares me to think of what the future holds for us The future seems frighteningly dark from where I am standing as well, Shankaroon.
  18. Today was a bit of blah for me.
  19. Originally posted by Sincere: Lol@Zeph....If I was a gambling man I would wager there's a hint of sarcasm in your comment . Anyway ever watch the movie Belly? Thats where the handle comes from (I draw slight similarities to the character).... No, I haven't seen the movie and there was no hint of sarcasm (lol..guess that would have been a bad bet).
  20. PPL..no more b!tching, please. Stick to the topic. Moti, You are too funny.
  21. Whatever, Tuujiye.
  22. ^ Must you be so crass? Also, Salmon isn't uncooked sushi. It's salmon. Duh. Just made the mistake of ordering fish in a Somali restaurant. Won't be doing it again.
  23. ^ LoL..For some it was. But I said 'after'. Sky, yup. I need a holiday badly.
  24. ^ LooooL...Why you nasty cow! You were there when I ate the bad Salmon! I can't believe you're making fun of my predicament.
