A.Khadar, you seem to know what you're talking about. Do you visit the kitchen often? True, it looks like it's his first attempt, but I still find the picture very appealing. The more men find their way to the kitchen, the better!

I don't need to go to that effort. My Lenovo laptop is a girl. Her name is Milgo. [Edit] Confirmed! LoL @JB, you're such a time waster!

He has the right attitude and the necessary passion.

What will the Kenyan's announce tomorrow? They seem to get a little more ridiculous each day.

Were these threads the only worthy ones this year? I liked MMA's thread the most, as it presented a huge amount of info, and Ibti's library tour diary was inspirational. I'm sorry to say, I never looked at Positive's Somali thread. But in the end, I just couldn't stand that Urban was still on the ledge, so my vote went to him. PS: Nuune should never have been nominated. Now we will have to prepare bariis and hilib for his rooxaan.

*waves back @ juxa* Hope you are all well and excited about another week! JB, that's gowsaha for you. Deep roots. And an infected gows can cause blood poisoning (Septicemia) if left untreated.

LoL...at least you went to a professional.

Hmm, I don't know about medicinal properties but TV survival shows do recommend it if you can't get access to water. Beats dying of dehydration, I suppose.

^ It makes a great deal of difference, doesn't it? Another lesson learned: Leave it to Allah. If it's out of your control but it's burning you on the inside, messing with your emotions, faraha ka qaad. Poverty, injustice, politics = heartburn galore. Do what you can, u ducee, lacag d!r, war ka hay but don't dwell. Don't get bogged down.

^ I suppose it might be a start. The American masses have been brainwashed for 10 years, it will be difficult to shift their views. Hmmm.....having seen the trailer, it looks very dramatised.

Is the U.S. ready for Muslims on reality TV? The Stream, Aljazeera On November 13, the U.S. network TLC is scheduled to premiere the first reality television show exclusively featuring a Muslim-American community. The eight-part series, “All-American Muslim,” was filmed in Dearborn, Michigan, home to the largest population of Arab-Americans in the U.S. While about a third of Dearborn residents are of Arab descent, Arab-Americans are less than one per cent of the total U.S. population. The programme follows five different Arab-American Muslim families and will portray the community “struggling to balance faith and nationality in a post 9/11 world” while challenging stereotypes about Muslims in the U.S. Among the cast members are the head coach of the local football team, a businesswoman, deputy chief sheriff, and a Muslim woman planning her wedding to an Irish-American convert. The show describes Dearborn as “another world,” and one media observer points out that Arab Muslims from Dearborn aren’t necessarily representative of the broader U.S. Muslim population. But others say “All-American Muslim” offers a different angle on the community. “People fear what they don’t know,” says one cast member, saying he hopes the show will shed light on how Muslims are dealing with Islamophobia in the post-9/11 decade. LoL...you are so cheeky, KOW. Anyway, I don't know why I've taken to reprimanding posters maalmahan. Usually I am not that bothered by what people write on here, heard/seen it all before so to speak. Nabadey.

Such a strange saga. Has he been sentenced yet? Involuntary manslaughter, what's that - a suspended sentence and maybe community service?

Pay a visit to the golden rules of this site: Here. Just friendly advice. (PS: What benefit do you gain from branding a clan non-Muslim, because that's basically what you are implying, isn't it? Don't let politics twist you).
