Round Two. Shabaab a godsend ayey noqdeen for many. -
Maybe it's a typo.

Hey little man, miyaad soo luntay? You think you can partake in kaftan between adults? Dadka ha ku soo dabo dhuuman if you intent to belittle whole groups, yaa? Warka cadeyso ama iska aamus.

LoL @ yellow fever and coked hair! Some clarifications are needed: when you mention this or any other decade, are you referring to childhood, teenagehood or 20s? I can only partake once those have been clarified. I've to give it to the 80s though, the music was pretty awesome. It's my favourite genre. LoL @ Malika and Madonna! Haha

I like Aar Maanta too.

Abtigiis;761460 wrote: Abdikhadar, this is tirtirsi not mocking. I hope you see it that way. And also I know the real SSC people are not in this forum. What we have here is people like VAl and Malika, conditioned and softened by their environment and few disaporan who have lost the temper of their ancestors. I write what I wrote here on Xargaga and other forums, and you would have read my name in the obituaries. LoL...the trouble with you, dear, is that you are totally bonkers. Nothing wrong with dacaayad or kaftan. Somalis are Somalis - dhibaato, dagaal, walaaltinomo iyo Muslimnimo ayey isku darsadaan. Unfortunately there is too much gaajo and everyone only thinks about their stomach these days. Ideals do not a salary make.

LoL...well, who knows. Maybe that certain beel will come around by next month. Things move fast. As for temperament, where did you get this idea that we are all hot-blooded? Khadar comes across as pretty calm.

I've been on a mission to give points all week. Juxa got today's. Narniah the day before. Dabrow the time before that. I randomly award it to whoever's post is on my screen when I remember my mission. But I have been meaning to take Aaliyah to 10* stardom. Why should only NG enjoy that privilege? Someone remind me next time am online (insha'Allah)!

PM and Ali Mahdi playing football on the beach (Pictures)

A little footie by the beach. I like. -
Abtigiis;761259 wrote: True. But they are the biggest joke in the Somali politics. Everytime I see their websites it is about one side of them shooting down an initiative by one of their own. Given that they are the most patriotic Somalis, who whole-heartedly support the struggle of the Somali-galbeed people, I always wish them good. But I am getting frustrated nowadays. How can a small SNM clique ransack their towns using stooges for years and all they can do is fight back with a serious of "consultative meetings" and non-existent entities with funny names like Khusuusi?! Abtigiis, it just so happens that we are a peaceful lot. We react to situations rather than anticipate them (albeit react in speedy efficient ways when push comes to shove). What can I say, we trusted our affairs to crooks and in that regard we are not any different to other Somalis. I would have shared your frustrations this time last year. However in November 2011, the SSC people are in a better position than they have been in the last 20 years. These consultive meetings you scoff at have been prepared from the grassroots level. If you have been following the preprations you would have known that almost every sub-sub-sub laf has been endorsing the Khaatumo2 conference following their own meetings. Consequently, this might be the only time we can safely say that the SSC crowd is 'tight as a tiger'. Also Xaabsade and his ilk have finally been left out in the cold. They mean nothing to dadka iyo deegaanka ey ka yimaadeen.

Amiin and to you too. Happy 1433 AH folks!

:D Oh, Abtigiis!

Neither man. Although I can happily live anywhere in Europe, I prefer Vietnam! Che, exactly!

LoL...I think you are his curse. Dhulkaad dhigtay inanka when you chase every girl on his behalf. Waa inaad qaali ka dhigtaa, nin aan la heli karin. The girls need to chase you to get a chance with him and not the other way round. Damiin baad tahay mar mar.

I don't believe Xiin flogs baarixi goods. I think he tries to stay on the middle road in a land la is gilgilayo. He is a bit like a deep-rooted tree standing tall in the midst of a hurricane and not bending to the rain and sleet and flying debris that's pummeling it. He has his eye on the horizon. Simply put, he rocks.

I love the sincerity and total guilelessness of Carafaat when he says Somali patriots should be happy about Somaliland's achievements! I think maybe you mean the achievements of the population and not the administration? Because as a Somali, you can be proud of the achievements of your fellow Somalis. But patriotism, in essence, is love for one's country. How could a Somali patriot then be happy about the break up of that very same country? Do you follow now, Carafaat?

Christmas is coming up, isn't it? More turkeys get killed then than on Thanksgiving (I estimate). Obama has been more than lacklustre, the shine of 2008 has been wiped off. But still I would guess he will get a second term, precisely because there are no worthy alternatives on the Republican side.

Yes, that's the perfect description for Nunne, an 'international Somali'. You can never pigeon-hole him into a region. In fact, the man come across as totally qabiil-less. Wait, what if he is actually Jinn himself?

Hahaha...smarty pants! (But true he succeeded this time round! BTW, Germany's security isn't more lax, they're just a little bit more efficient in Humanitarianism).

Salaam Juxa and everyone else....hope you are all feeling good this lovely Friday! Juxa, my linguistic capacity only extends to two langauages at any one time. I learnt both Arabic and French when I was younger but have nothing to show for it. I'm trying at German but I'm sceptical about success. Carafaat, you might say I'm trying to broaden my horizons. Did you spend sometime in Germany in your youth, then? LoL @ NG...that scenario is eerily similar to a dream I had circa 2005. I was a refugee and I was trying to somehow get into Holland (don't ask me why I was dreaming of Holland of all places), only the country was represented as a protected compound in my dream. You could see the gate and some of the gates of the other countries in the distance. Anyway, this man told me he could help get me into the country, if I paid him and so I did. We went to the gate that night and the man grandly announced to the guard that I was his wife and we were returning after taking a stroll (a stroll!). But the guard rolled his eyes and quiped 'You wives change faces every night, don't they?' and refused to let us in. Although I was enraged at the failure to get into Holland, I woke up laughing.

No one in particular, I was just referring to the 'we's in your previous post.

Is it necessary to post the images of pretty flag-clad girls to prove patriotism?

Spread the reputations, maryooley.

Nuune, she sounds like a clever woman. Ma khasabaa iney gacmaheeda ku kariso cuntada?

LoL @ iLoox. If only. Carafaat;761032 wrote: Wie geths mit ihnen freulein Valenteenah? ich habe zwansig jahre keine Deutsche gesprochen. LoL... I got it all but the 'mit' in the first sentence threw me off at first. I wasn't sure if you were greeting me or asking me how my deutsch is (minus the Deutsch part, of course). Anyway, my understanding is increasing daily and though I have the niceties down and can order tea and a pastry with flair, I'm not yet confident enough to speak it properly. My most overused line is: 'können sie bitte englisch sprechen?'! Tough language but it's growing on me.
