  1. You know, there is nothing wrong with crying. It's a necessary emotional release. There is no shame in it. Really. Ghanima, of course I wouldn't forget his name. I would hand him a tissue and make him a cup of tea with extra hayl & qorfe.
  2. ^ What a wuss. I wouldn't mind if a man cried over me. *smirks*
  3. ^ It's overcast now, but they predict very warm weather for the weekend I'A.
  4. Well done to all those who passed with flying colours. Lily, my goodness, do they really take 12 GCSE subjects at school these days? Wow. What are you guys going to do for your sister? She deserves a massive present.
  5. <- Nursing a bad back. Mademoiselle, enjoy your break!
  6. You can't really tell much from these maps, can you? North, the Eurotunnel link to St Pancras is almost complete I think. Eurostar services will be moving from Waterloo to King's Cross from November this year. But the whole area will be undergoing massive regeneration for the next 10 years or so.
  7. Someone bring up King's Cross for me and I'll point to where I am.
  8. Q - Can you meet someone once and know they are your other half? A - Yes, I think you can. Q - Is it there truly only one person in the entire universe for you? A - Possibly. But you might never meet them. And it wouldn't stop you from being happy and loving other people. But God help you if you ever do come across them while attached! Q - Do you HAVE to know a person to be in love with them? A - No, but it validates your love if you know the person well (and you still manage to keep loving them). Q - Is love a necessary ingredient for marriage? A - Definitely. Could you tolerate all the nasty habits of somebody you don't love? Urg. The good thing about love in a marriage is that it provides you with rose-coloured specs for a good while. Until you get used to the other person anyway.
  9. ^ LoL...that was distasteful. Originally posted by Faarax-Brawn: I guess you like sad movies yeah? Lucky # Slevin is nothing but revenge killing, Smoking aces haaba sheeegin, its plain sick(I have never felt sad in a movie, but this one made me sad). I will give you the Lord of the Rings & Kill bill as they are classics. 'Sad' is a curious word to describe those movies. I certainly wouldn't use it for them. Bloody, thrilling, loud, clever (the Slevin one) would all fit better than sad. I must say though, I love thrillers (and revenge movies in particular).
  10. Brown, maxaa sad ah? My sister has a veritable library of DVDs and I was catching up on the stuff I haven't seen yet. The Slevin one in particular was rather good. Serenity, it was very dry in my house. There was no traipsing through mud for moi.
  11. ^ I, on the other hand, set up camp on my couch and feasted on waffles and tea whilst catching up on my movies (Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2, Smoking Aces, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Lucky Number Slevin etc etc). An altogether action-packed, dry and painless weekend, don't you think? Serenity? *smirk*
  12. Those who incessantly wag the polygamy stick annoy me.
  13. Originally posted by rudy: when i got married while ago, i did cheat within a month... and i blame her for it since she started acting up. I agree, she's to blame. Not for your adultery, but for marrying you in the first place. God knows what she was thinking.
  14. Apparently, you can become allergic to anything at any time. Scary thought. I've developed some extreme allergies in the last year or so too and I still haven't worked out what it is I could be reacting to. It's good that you are getting an allergy test, anyway. Hopefully you will find out the culprit/s.
  15. Urm..err...ahem. I wanted to get through 2007 without ranting about this sort of stuff, but some comments in here really irritated me.
  16. Lily communicated my sentiments perfectly. [EDIT] Nevermind.
  17. Dabshid, have a good break, I'A.
  18. ^ Do you mean torturing him with uunsi and sex? Not much of a game plan to get back at somebody who's betrayed you to that level. The commoners have it right. There's no point in keeping such a disrespectful duli around. As for the article, such rubbish always irritates me. So a woman lets her husband take another wife, so what? She could arrange an orgy for him for all I care.

  20. There are many versions but the original was Indian if I remember correctly. This version sucks.
  21. ^ LoL...congrats, Stoic. I know you've been wanting to change jobs for a while, so I'm very happy for you. Oh and Amiin to the du'a. Good luck!
