  2. Who is your Player of the decade: - 1994-2004 In Soccernet, they asked their readers to vote for the player of the decade which was won by Zizzou. to my astonishment, they had Eric Cantona as number two? Not takin anything away from Cantona..but seriously was he that good, better than Ronaldo?? So indulge us and tell us who is your player of the decade??
  3. Originally posted by Bishaaro: ^^Has it ever occurred to you some Christians are far better and do more righteous deeds then those who were born Muslim? My response was not that someone did a good deed or a bad deed... What amazed me was Kashafa bashin a dead muslim and at the same time sayin a dead non muslim better than the first... When you compare the two ppl (the one he was so glad to share his bad deeds and the one he decided not to look into his bad deeds)..you will know that Kashafa's whole argument was based on contempt rather than "Naseeha"... That is what made me wonder dear bishaaro...and not whether mr Jennings has done good deeds or bad deeds... Cheers

  20. The Term Unemployment is an economic term, which to the contrary of what many belief, doesn't mean – not having a Job or not working - The term un/employment can not be interchanged freely with job/less. This is the definition " A person is said to be "unemployed" if he or she is looking for work, is willing to work at the prevailing wage, but is unable to find a job"... Based on that definition a Housewife is not unemployed neither is she employed…confusing? Not really, Perhaps what the question ought to be is “ is being a housewife a profession? Or should the society regard being a housewife as a profession and hence compensateâ€. In my response to the above question - I would examine few scenarios:- 1. Educated/Skilled Woman who has chosen to be a housewife and made the sacrifice to earn money or pursue a career. 2. Non educated/Non skilled woman, who has foregone to seek an education or skill, chose to be a housewife. In both situations there are opportunity costs involved, the real question is how do we measure these Opp costs? And in comparison to what they would do in the house (given the list you provided) which one is more valuable to the society? And that is where the problem lies. What is more important to the society? note that it varies from one society to another and if it decides to compensate the housewives for the sacrifice they made, should they all get the same consideration? Or should we assess case by case? Hard to answer, isn’t it? So it is not a simple straightforward question to answer or a case where all men gather and decide to acknowledge that housewives do hard tasks everyday and therefore should be recognised. ^^^ Just realised all I did was I've added complexity to the q and didn't provide any answer...Wicked! Altho...I say any man, who doesn’t recognise what his wife or the mother of his children does in the house and blames her for his shortcomings, is a FOOL Cheers
