This could also be the reason why Allah (SWT) forbid relationships before marriage, don't you think? And besides, true love comes AFTER marriage! What a person might feel for another would just be considered "attratctions" and NOT love itself! Salam So You saying Allah prohibited relationships because it may hurt (sometimes)?? Salaamaat
  4. Originally posted by ALexus.: If love does exist then certain people can comprehend it. Love is meant to give one endless happiness. But it has failed to do so. More people are complaining love isn't worth it for it has caused them so much pain and hurt. So why do we bother with love? Humans desperately want to be loved and accepted by others. This comes down to conformity. Though I haven't experienced love nor do I want to. I personally believe love isn't worth it. Love shouldn't cause us pain but it should bring us a never ending happiness. My final words about love. Love isn't for everyone. Especially not for Somali's. Since they take advantage of such a feeling. So You saying Somalis shouldn't Love because they are likely to abuse it!!! Is that correct Alexus?
  5. Originally posted by Rahima: Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said in al-Qawl al-Mufeed, 1/226. The difference between cursing a specific person and cursing those who commit sin in general is that the former (cursing a specific person) is not allowed, and the latter (cursing the people who commit sin in general) is allowed. So if you see an innovator, you do not say, ‘May Allaah curse you,’ rather say, ‘May the curse of Allaah be upon those who introduce innovations,’ in general terms. The evidence for that is the fact that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed some people among the mushrikeen and followers of jaahiliyyah and said: “O Allaah, curse So and so, and So and so, and So and so,†he was told not to do that when Allaah said (interpretation of the meaning): “Not for you (O Muhammad, but for Allaah) is the decision; whether He turns in mercy to (pardons) them or punishes them; verily, they are the Zaalimoon (polytheists, disobedients and wrongdoers)†[Aal ‘Imraan 3:128] This was narrated by al-Bukhaari. And Allaah knows best. Islam Q&A ( www.islam-qa.com ) Given the Fatwe above, It is not permissible to curse Specific living person regardless of whether he is muslim or not. So How can Alle U baahne justify that? that is if he was doing it forthe sake of Islam and not personal vendetta Salaamaat
  6. ^^^ Dear Nova..Am sure no one mentioned the word feature... Hope U see this in time insha Allah... Salaamaat
  7. ^^^ UD..I think it would have generated responses if you had initiated a thesis for discussion. I can only gues majority reading it it and assuming that you posted it as FYI rather than a topic to discuss. Some Conspiracy Theory websites claimed that "these soldiers were tryin to bomb shi'a areas and blame on the insurgents" while some claim that they were spies planning to infiltrate the insurgents but the plan has backfired when their identity was compromised. Cheers

  13. Originally posted by Elysian: ^^^^ There’s a scientific explanation for why japanese people simply can’t distinguish between pronounced R and L. Sometimes it just gets really funny when talking to them. Came to the lab one day. The whole corridor smelled yeast, looked around and found my colleagues at the coffee table at end of the hall. Went up to them and asked about the bad smell. The japanese guy, lets call him Fujiko, raised his cup, smiled at me and replied “we’re having lice beer, want someâ€. In one of the rooms at the lab I use for salaat. I laughed the first time when Fujiko referred to it as “playoom†sounding very much like playroom. But the worst thing is when people looking for me are told “come back lateh, she is playingâ€â€¦ It puts me in a really awkward situation. hahahah...LooooL..Funny...Playin she is... I heard once a chinese singin "Soo Maly Rori Layts"..just to found out he was singin " soo many lonely nights "..true Story.. Cheers
  14. Originally posted by Viking: Xu, The author is using this argument only to further his own ideology (American hegemony). There is as much truth in the article as there was to Bush/Blair's tirades about Saddam having WMD's. We all knew that Saddam was a tyrann but the agenda to remove him had less to do with his horrendous human rights record and more to do with the high grade crude oil found in the world's second largest oil reserves. Viking, I know many ppl do believe Iraq was invaded becouse of the OIL..but I beg to differ..The Strategy was to instill chaos!!! Yes, It was all about THE CHAOS...Anarchy...and more Anarchy...
