Baashi;934520 wrote: How about I agree with that people not central bureaucrats nor presidential decree in far away locality shall decide what type of local government suits them Or I agree with the people have the right to exercise their constitutional rights to form a federal state By the way the man you said you agree with wants Baardheere nor Bu'aale (for clannish reason I suspect) ti be the capital of the new state. Check with him You are naive bashi. The man you suspect for having clannish reason never mention Bardheere nor buaale. This was injected by a mere guess. I know you want to portay this version of jubbaland as locally and by its people. As side from this grand delusion its in the end a choice by wanting a somali controlled state or a kenyan controlled one. Im sure somalis of all clan background will never accept this project in this form.
-
Kenyans motives are well known and the somali gov had disagreements with them before when parts of this oil blocks was sold to kenya. Ofc course ras kamboni wants to rush this jubbaland inorder to pay its master and cement jubbaland status as satellite state or buffer zone if u prefer that. There is nothing in for the somali people except few lackeys of kenya.
-
I agree. It shall be built with the blessing of somali goverment not by nairobi and their somali lackeys ras kamboni.

Xiin: You are not sincere now or you didnt understand me before. I support the idea of a state for the region but the difference is that i want the gov to give its blessing. This has been my position long time and of course i cannot support this version of jubbaland and we have heard this story before. This will be just another short lived caravan.

Enjoy the laugh while it last.

This is what the federal gov should do. First thing tomorow. This hasty decision behind closed doors by kenya backed ras kamboni shouldnt be accepted.

Very good choice by the pm to select Kalil as the offical governor. He is what the region needs now and those who believe that gedo community have something against Kalil is deluding themself. The pm have now brought ahlu sunnah central and ahlu sunnah gedo into the goverment. Very important devolopments.

The PM taking part of a dua to the late president Siad Barre Aun.
-
Very important trip for him and his goverment. This thread will be updated.

I know how business works but this is governance and there is difference between the two. The two will allways have bumpy roads and complications but in goverments you dont normaly get sacked for something like this as you want us to believe. Im not sure you believe this nonsense yourself. In that case we would see leaders sacked daily around the world. As you are aware this is not the case and the talks between former alshabab group ras kamboni and the FG is not over. Simply because nothing is solved. It will resume.

Jacpher;932176 wrote: I doubt if a news conference held 500km away is gonna bleed the Jubbaland conference in Kismaayo. In the eyes of his boss, Saacid failed to stop Jubbaland. Now he is reduced to discrediting them through the media. Hassan is about now regretting his choice of picking a spineless YES man. Hassan will have no choice but to hand the pink slip to Saacid. The pm job was not to stop jubbaland infact he is positive to this idea. The problem lies with how to build this new state and the goverments role in this process. Some believe since they come on the back of kenyans tanks that they own kismayo and with their foreign support they can proceed without the blessing of the federal goverment. They need hear and they will be told No. I have not much to say about ur fantasy about the so called rift between the president and the pm. This is cleary something that dont exist in the real world. Its called distorting reality.

Apophis;931920 wrote: A whole Division ? And more are on the way you say... Not that diffinition. But the somali version of it. But keep ignoring realities on the ground.

This is the second division and they just set up a base in the old meat factory. Im also hearing that more division are on their way.

Jacpher;931152 wrote: ^Saaxiib this is nothing more than a delay tactic until a certain clan gets the leverage they think they need to come to the table. I highly doubt if this is a well thought out plan to advance peace and reconciliation in the region. I read it and it just reads, Gedo should lead the way, front and center and call all the shots in the formation of Jubbaland. Not what you expect from someone serious about advancing the process. This is got walaalaha Galgaduud written all over it. I guess old friendships die hard. Take a break from "Gedo". Every post from you lately have been towards the region. On the topic, its quite obvious that Ras Kamboni will come into the gov fold. Its matter of time.

There are reports about he being shot today by his bodyguard. Probably a lie from western intelligence to demoralize and confuse the syrian state. I certainly hope he is alive.

Mashallah. Looks very nice.

Im not sure if you are serious. Im not angry at Kismayo conference never been. However i have concerns about the delegate allocation. Kalil is heawyweight adeer and dont try to "little" him. He and the pm will play their roles in building this admin.
-
Good development. He will get a warm welcome. He should also pay a visit to Gedo.
-
The delegate allocation is a problem and its not in the interest of gedo folks. Until a more balanced and fair allocation takes form then gedo folks should back governer Kalil.
