  5. I have mastered the art of leaving my body and looking from the outside in, which on a bad day helps to put into persepective the things that are important to me. This is the secret: I am me Yes the person looking at this object(tv/pc etc) is me I am me (usually the surreal feeling kicks in about now) These people(family/friends) loved this guy, this guy is me That beautiful lady loves this guy, this guy is me I am me This hand infront of my face is his, this hand is mine. (Now i'm in a weird surreal state and have left my body) lol this is not narcissism, this is the art of loving, and being content with yourself through self-reflection.

All of sudden the xalimo did a 360 and started squeazing my nuts! It was gardharo out of no where. if "the xalimo did 360" turn on you - she would still end up in the same place she was already at - hence one is left to conclude that she was already "squazing your nuts". am i the only one who is seeing this - or did rudy attend the same amount of time in maths lessons as he did in english classes?? It's perfectly good English and his use of 2π radians is applicable to the story. He talked to a lady friend and all of a sudden she did a 360, he however never used the word 'turn', for all we know she did a Salsa 'spin' - Ai Caramba, hence 360 being a 'full circle' could be used as a substitute. She then proceeded to ''squeezing his nuts'', not ''squazing''. This schocked him, not necessarily the 360 itself, though such a sudden move could have played an important role, indeed the lady friend before her Salsa spin might have looked at Rudy with a smile, only to do a complete revolution of a circle and return with a demonic face. Human emotional characteristics aren't bound to the laws of mathematics, neither are their actions pre-360 or post-360. ps - Always remember to start a sentence with a capital letter.
  7. Fcking Terrorist dogs seeking to cause more destruction in our ancestral country, Somalia. I hope they get a good stomping, the expiry date of Al-shabab is soon anyways, so what were they thinking?
  8. How would a person go about buying a plot of land in Somalia? Say 5-10km. Would a person have to make an agreement with the nearby locals or the government? Which of the two has the most legitimacy? Which of the two would safeguard longterm interests constructed on that specific piece of land? Does a Somali background automatically mean any uninhabited and historically non-populated area could potentially be mine because it's Somali soil, and i happen to be Somali, coupled with the fact that i'm the only person there with intentions for that territory in the form of a school, university or more ambitious projects? Would that be enough to protect me from future central government interference? Those with experience, what say you?

  11. Abdi Kusow is a Perfect Fit for Iowa State Abdi Kusow has been a great addition to the department of Sociology at Iowa State University. Kusow was hired this fall as an Associate Professor of Sociology. He brings with him a vast knowledge of teaching and a reputation for cutting-edge research. Kusow was previously an Associate professor at Oakland University in Michigan. He holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Wayne State College. This fall semester Kusow has been teaching Sociology 330, which is an undergraduate sociology course in race and ethnicity. The class has around 150 students which has been a little adjustment from his 35 student class size at Oakland University. One of the first projects in Kusows class is looking into ones ancestry and comparing and contrasting it with someone from another ethnicity. First, the student contacts their family and assembles a family tree. Next the student interviews someone of another ethnicity. The student asks two questions, Have you ever felt discriminated against, and What do you think of the future of race relations and identities in the United States. The student reads the answers and compares and contrasts the information with his/her own answers. The students are very excited about this project and it has been very interesting. Kusow says. Kusow and his family have adjusted quite well to Ames and are enjoying the perks of living in a small community. He and his wife, Lul, love the Ames school system and it has been great for their two boys, Omar and Abbas. We were never able to go to football games in Michigan, but my boys and I love to go to the Iowa State games. Kusow says. When Dr. Kusow is not cheering on the cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium or teaching his Sociology courses, he is busy with his research. He researches the social economic achievement and demographic settlement patterns of the African immigrant population in the United States. Kusow is ultimately looking at how understanding of racial identities is changing http://www.soc.iastate.edu/newsletter/oct272009/kusow.html

  17. God willing i will do it, i have a brilliant plan to raise capital, if i succeed in the next five years that is. I must do it, this is a lifetime mission. One can't trust the politicians to provide stability, and if they do, we don't know how long it will last, there has to be a safetynet. With a plot of land reserved for this plan, and the blessing of the locals that picture will be a reality by 2020, especially considering the fact that Somalis are currently building several of those in Kenya and Dubai, the real-estate madness will be even greater if it's in a safe part of the homeland.

  19. Postgrad engineering student's research recognised with a prestigious award Blast-resistant tall buildings, sports stadia, oil platforms and train stations are closer to reality thanks to the work of engineer Hussein Jama. Mr Jama is investigating how to build more resilient structures made from tubular steel that can withstand accidental explosions caused by gas leaks or dust explosions as well as from terrorist attacks. His work will also assist in the protection of large oil rigs in remote areas of the ocean that are vulnerable to accidental explosions, which can result in loss of life, reduced oil supplies and massive pollution. The 35-year-old Somalian-born postgraduate student is one of six people to win a prestigious 2007 Victoria Fellowship. He received the Fellowship on Wednesday 15 August at a gala function at Government House from the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, AC. The Victoria Fellowships, worth $18,000 each, were established 10 years ago by the Victorian Government to recognise young researchers with leadership potential and to enhance their future careers, while developing new ideas which could offer commercial benefit to Victoria. He will use the Victoria Fellowship to further his research into the behaviour of tubular beams and columns under blast load conditions. Tubular structures are increasingly used in structural applications including oil platforms in Victoria. Mr Jama's research is twofold: firstly to understand better how tubular beams and columns respond under blast conditions and secondly, to determine how safe tubular steel structures are after a blast. He will travel to South Africa to carry out blast experiments at the Blast Impact and Survivability Research Unit at the University of Cape Town, the only facility in the world where explosives can be used in a University setting. He will also travel to Norway to carry out tests on the steel specimens using specialised facilities. Mr Jama is undertaking a doctorate in engineering at Monash University. -source Westview High School seniors, L to R: Josean Perez, Faduma Ashmed-Ali q) and Yevgeniy Kostenko won first prize, Best of Fair, in their regional Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. They will present their findings at the Intel Northwest Science Expo at Portland State University. -Full Story
