So feel free to insult me. I have read the whole thread. And I know how badly the bro who started it didn't want to get this thread closed; and cuz I do respect him, I do not want to be the cause for its closure. Who insulted your mother? That is forbidden territory, keep our mothers out of this discussion warya! I just have to say wallahi naagahan Soomalida iyo anaga waxbadan aa iskukaaya dhiman; they don't know who they messing with! Stop ur damn shallowness and ismacaneynta badan or else, we will go for Zulu sisters WALLAHI!!!!!!! LOOOOOOL Seriously you need to drop this chip you have on your shoulder. Even if you managed to 'blackmail' all of the Somali women on the internet with your 'Zulu women' threat( ) you would still only reach like 1% of the Somali female population of the world, and most likely most of them being good sisters. If you want to be appreciated, you need to start showing appreciation. You need to realise you don't 'own Somali women', once this settles in, your persepective will change.
  2. I'm sorry Ismalura, you are right but......I just caught you in my net, you are mine now.

Loool Dissing your fellow brothers in front of girls is the way aa ku qarabataan, gabdhahana way ogyihiin! But worse, when it comes to confronting your brothers you are very tough; but with other guys, well, all brothers know. Hey wait, how did I miss this earlier: quote: plenty of times ajanabis have asked me to hitch them with one and none of the sisters were interested. Which means you asked the Somali girls on behalf of the foreign men; and so you are ... a you know what.. for the foriegners?? Loool Bro, case closed, call me sissy and whatever else you like.. Lool Your sob story makes you look like a sissy sxb, be honest with yourself, which self-respecting brother would write 'walls of text' on several forums, and continuesly badmouth women on various youtube videos? This only tells us that you have lots of time on your hand, time you could have spend on more productive things. Secondly, i'm defending around 80 women I know in real life, i'm not in the business of impressing anyone here, I don't even have a private message option. Thirdly it has nothing to do with being tough or not; I already knew those sisters were going to reject my ajanabi friends, I just enjoyed seeing it happen , while all of your attention is on the few spoiled ones, I prefer to focus on the vast majority of great sisters I know. All of them btw are hitched with a successful Somali brother, or are planning to do so, but if someone with your mentality and attitude came their way, trust me you wouldn't stand a chance. and then we would have even MORE rubbish posts, topics and videos about the "evil sisters" you failed to emotionally blackmail with the name "Somali".
  4. I'm truly sorry if I came off as disrespectful, that was not my intention, I made it clear that I admired you for going back, you walked the 'walk' but lets say you were a farmer of a successful farm, and then you told me why don't you return home and start your own farm? My reply would be; my intention is to create several mega farms through the resources I plan on requiring, which would take some time. This is in no way should be interpreted as looking down on the farmer.
  5. ^^Its just a silly sissy sob story, guys like him and the one in the opening post are such an embarrassment to the world of Somali men. These guys because of their own shortcomings find themselves ignored by the other side, and then try to emotionally blackmail these self-respecting sisters by using the Somali name, when that doesn't work they spend hours, sometimes days creating topics, videos etc where they insult women. As I said before they are a major embarrassment to the majority of Somali men, who like me cringe when they see longwinded posts such as his, because most of us have great natural relations with our Somali sisters, plenty of times ajanabis have asked me to hitch them with one and none of the sisters were interested. Millions of Somali men everyday have the pleasure of being loved by a Somali woman, but sissy-clowns like "Cabdisomali" with their little sob stories want to make us believe our Somali sisters are anything but Queens? Who are they kidding?, most of the time guys like him waste their days in a maqaayad with the same sex, backbiting about the other sex, and suddenly they are experts? LOL, WHAT A JOKE! Cabdi I truly hope characters like you never get a chance with a Qalanjo, Insha-allah, that would be such a waste.
  6. What happened to; i'm not your enemy? The second part of the quote speaks to me, since I actually have an entire book of illustrations about my dream projects in multiple places in Somalia, and i'm wide awake!
  7. Poor brother, just from looking at his face I can see he is a good man who simply made the wrong business decisions. As a chef he probably owned his own restaurant, but it went bankrupt and all of his belongings such as his house, car, and credit were taken away, and his wife eventually filed for a divorce. Afterwards he was forced to live in a hostel, but out of pride refrained from telling his brother and family. Thats what I got from looking at his face. May Allah swt get him back on his feet Insha-allah!
  8. Nothing original about her, she destroyed her natural hair with that fake color and now looks more like an African American than an actual classic Qalanjo. I don't find her appealing at all. In one of the pics she looks like a cheap prostitute, if you don't get what I mean, just look at the young Qalanjos on the right in this picture: NOW THAT'S CLASSIC BEAUTY, the type of beauty that makes a man say wow wow wow; I wish I was born in the 60s. Women in touch with their culture, history, people, country etc, always have that shining radiant beauty about them that the subject in this topic totally lacks! btw if she really is the ear-potato-peeling bandit from the news, imagine the other things she could peel off in a moment of rage, when your asleep yikes! xuuuuuuuuuux I like my women dominant yet self-composed
  9. Marx bro: All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible. - T.E. Lawrence
  10. Samawad, a handsome but unmarried Somali Prince teleported himself to Queen Tawlan’s land of a thousand Kingdoms. He arrived during her wedding with Prince Temuk, however, she instantly fell for the mysterious prince from another dimension and dismissed Temuk. After relinquishing her throne, she joined Samawad to his Maryoley Kingdom.
  11. lol lol lol , I sincerely wish that you and Ismalura find ridiculously rich handsome farahs with good hearts, who spoil you like Queens, Insha-allah! Am I your brother, or am I your brother? p.s Ms Moon got married yesterday with a big fat meher as a gift, she probably doesn't even remember her login name kkkk. you go girl!
  12. LOL, not my POV! and I would know if it wasn't my bun in the oven(lol) when we hear the 'Pinggg' sound and look at the result; my thick defined eyebrows(not Unibrow btw) - reportedly the best in the family, ehem - will certainly be passed on to any of my future kids, if those are missing, I will file for a divorce pronto.
  13. Umm..Marx, i'm very proud of you that you have returned, and find your scrutiny refreshing (though amusing), but truth be told; I intend to make a larger impact than just being a teacher or providing work for a maid(no disrespect intended, very honorable of you sxb), i.e; I want to educate atleast 30,000 kids, built a health facility here and there etc, etc. For that I need major capital, hence my plan. Though if my money making projects don't work out, I will have to 'make do' with something smaller back home. Thanks for the links, and I agree!

I will, i'm still young with a grand plan. are you really willing to give up your western comforts to live in merka? Marx, what Western comforts?, and how do you know that I would settle in Merka instead of say; Garowe or Hargeisa? i think not. Tsk, tsk.
  15. The art is to not go below 50 and not above: My girlfriend returned from the toilets in a crowded venue full of strangers, she took my hand and whispered in my ear. I began shaking, when she placed my hand gently on her belly. I could not contain my joy; I hugged her and boasted the good news to everyone.
  16. Ofcourse it should be a group effort, but it usually starts with one individual, and sometimes its only one individual who does everything, see this brother, he built schools, farms, hotels, cheese/meat processing facilities, health facilities etc all in the vicinity of Mogadishu: Tropical Village http://tropicalvillage.net/
  17. Hehe, I made the above assumption to bring out your true nature, Ismalura has no problem being a poor girl if her hubby is handsome lol, but Aaliyah would marry even Gollum if he was a billionaire kkkkkkk. In fact i'm confident your dreams are always full of money, specifically Dollars, Dinars, Pounds and Marks. Sometimes I bet you even chase it... lol

I do see myself visiting for longer periods. As for investment, my family have always been qurbawis and investing in the home land continously for as long as long as I could remember, so that's not new for me, even if you don't make financial gains, your investments (homes, business) tend always benefit your family in some way. I want my children to grow up Somali as my father wanted us to grow up Somali and that means regular visits home. However, SL does lack a lot of facilities, so I won't out right move there for now but Insha Allah, meel dhulka hooyo dhaanta majirto. That is the main problem, I remember reading about a Somali organisation called SomScan and they managed to create 400 homes for Somalis from the diaspora who wanted to return to Burao, but the place lacked many important facilities such as healthcare, a continues source of clean water etc, etc and this was somewhere in the early 2000s, now the area has managed to contruct many health facilities and continues sources of clean water. The skilled Somali returnees should establish these facilities, so be the spark!

Returning home is a myth that all immigrant communities subscribe to, but only a few ever do. In the Somali situation, the above is non-applicable, there has been conflict continuesly since they arrived in those host countries. Many however have in recent years returned to places like Puntland and Somaliland to live, invest etc.
