  1. Martin: "Tito!" punch LOOOOOOL "I'm down with Jermaine" haha
  2. Season 3 won't premiere for another week, so I have to make do with:
  3. The one with the guy's pants falling down is hilarious. The wife took it well, being the most important day of her life and all.
  4. Yeah, we need babies suckling on bottles filled with nuclear waste too, and soccer-balls replaced with human heads, now that's xaax. Throw in a 1/2 child policy(cut them from the waist down), and a IMF managed economy, and Somalia will be STRONG!
  5. Please, if he were to go to South Africa you guys would scorn him for neglecting Somalia, its always a lose/lose situation for the President, but one victory after another for the country and its long-term interests. The Federal government in January appointed for the first time in two decades an ambassador to South Africa. Somalis over there need to mobilize and visit the embassy in Pretoria and speak with ambassador Sheriff, the President has bigger issues on his mind that affects 10-12 million people instead of 15 thousand.
  6. ^Now let's wait for the results of the soon to be announced Beijing Conference on Somalia, after the G-8 summit, and the EU Conference. Xaax.
  7. The only way Somalis will contribute is if those in South Africa compile a list categorized by clan and then mass-deseminate it around the million + clan-portals asking for help. Otherwise don't expect any support.
  8. Incense pact, Somalis collected Myrrh and Frankincense from their own regions and those of the Omanis. I guess, a few fell in love with the landscape and the locals.
  9. Haatu;957648 wrote: Chimera, that's a shame. My appetite for fantasy is still going just as strong although I only read 1 book a month nowadays. I think it has something to do with the authors, I can read anything by GRRM, or Dan Brown, with these guy you feel like your watching a movie, or following events via the News, rather than reading a book: I'm going to buy Inferno:
  10. Avoid the dry ones like these: and stay close to a dog, so you get a fresh one: Don't use gloves, stay natural sxb, you're a gardener!
  11. Alpha, you need a good fertilizer to make the plants grow large and lush. Have you tried picking up your local dog poo and divide it around your garden. I read its a great method:
  12. I lost the will to read fiction somewhere in January 2013, before that I was all into epic Fantasy and Scifi, even movies are becoming a drag. I think there is a disconnect brought about by life experiences, or my inner child died. Enjoy, ya Haatu, I still have the Black Company on the shelf, and now I wish I had read the series while I still had the will.
  13. Post some from around the world. This Georgian one is epic, look at the foot-work, and elegant & affectionate play between the bride and groom:
  14. ^There are other options, but I always use Paypal.
  15. Yes, I put in 50, and will do another 100 next Friday, when its payday.
  16. You can donate through paypal, its a very easy process. Be generous.
  17. The Tragic accident On Sunday January 20th, Leeban’s mom received the call that every mother fears: she was told that her youngest son, just 24 years old, was in a terrible accident. His mother, residing in Virginia, took the first flight to Rochester, Minnesota to be with her son. When Leeban was brought to the hospital, his chances of survival were low. He was in critical condition and the doctors weren’t sure if he would make it past the night. After a tumultuous week, Leeban’s condition finally stabilized. The doctors concluded that the accident had left him with severe brain damage. At this time, doctors informed the family that the chances of Leeban waking up from the coma were minimal but when you have faith, all things are possible. After the Accident: It’s been three months since the accident and Leeban still remains comatose. The doctors have said there are no treatments available until he awakens from the coma. He doesn’t qualify for rehab because despite his significant improvement, he has yet to respond to commands. We have not or will not give up hope on Leeban. We will do everything possible to keep him healthy and wait as long as it takes, until Leeban responds! Current Situation: Now, more than ever, Leeban needs our support. The expenses of a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) are well beyond what insurance will cover. The options for those who cannot afford it are extremely limited, which of course decreases the quality of care needed in such a critical time. His mother has not left Minnesota since his accident. Given that she is away from home, she has been living out of the hospital for the past 3 months. This has severely affected her well-being. As you can imagine, the emotional toll is constant, and the financial toll is mounting which negatively impacts Leeban’s healing process. In order to give Leeban the best chance of a successful rehabilitation, we need to find a sustainable solution for him and those who take care of him. Our first goal is bringing him home. Leeban grew up in Virginia, a state where he has the needed support of family and friends. In order to bring him home, we need to raise at least $20,000 for an ambulatory plane that will bring him from Minnesota to Virginia and will cover any additional medical costs. Who is Leeban? "As a father, my first priority is to help my children become great people. Leeban, being the selfless and caring person he is, makes it easy for me to be proud. He is a handsome man with one of the softest hearts. He is dependable, reliable and is willing to lend a hand to those who need help. He definitely outgrew my lap but never my heart" - Father " Leeban is that brother ever sister wishes to have. He's caring, patient, dependable, and has the most comfortable shoulder to lean on. He has a way of effortlessly bringing people together with his infectious smile and laugh. Whether you need a pick me up or someone to pick you up...food (which he will likely eat before it reaches you)...Leeban will always be there. He's one of kind. We're all blessed to call him a brother" - His 6 sisters "A big man whose size is only eclipsed by his unique and hilarious personality. The only person I know whose sheepish grin can change the mood in any room. He's a great guy who would go out of his way to be there for those he holds dear" - Friend Who we are? We are Team Lee: a collection of family and close friends. We were inspired to create this page and spearhead this effort after seeing firsthand what Leeban and his family have endured. We knew if we shared their story it would move people to lend a hand. Together, we can truly make a difference! What are we doing? We are currently fundraising, to raise the money needed for Leeban’s medical transportation. If we exceed the amount raised, the additional money will go towards medical treatments which are beneficial for TBI patients but not covered by insurance (e.g., Hyperbaric oxygen therapy). And if there is more money left over, we plan to donate to charities both in Somalia and here in America, helping people in similar situations as our dear brother Leeban. How can you help? You can help in a number of ways. Firstly, you and your friends can donate to the cause, by clicking on the paypal link! Every little bit counts, and no amount is too small. Secondly, you can raise awareness via social media (e.g.,Facebook, Twitter etc.). If you can’t afford to donate, please keep Leeban and his family in your prayers. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 604 . Allah says in the Noble Qur’aan: “Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” – Baqarah, 2;277 Every bit makes a difference. With the long and hard road ahead of us we hope there are kind people out there that can support Leeban. Thank you so much and may God reward you. 19. ^Brother, don't bother with the reincarnated xabad. Haatu, that is excellent news, and a recipe for a Somali owned booming economy.
  20. Set up a company - Work in progress. My bucket-list can't be achieved in a single year, and I don't consider changing habits actual goals, since my life isn't very Rock & Roll, instead its quite dull, but healthy.
  21. Great article, only a decade ago Turkey's economy was failing, and looked down upon by the EU with regards to its inclusion bid, but now its the other way around. Greeks are migrating to Turkey for jobs, German companies are setting up their plants in Turkey because of cheaper tax, and more affordable wages. Turkey is spreading her wings indeed.
