  1. If my baby was mixed up with a Eritrean or Ethiopian baby i would return him/her because i want a ''Somali'' baby and i'm sure those Eritrean/Ethiopian parents would want the same but if the child was parentless i would keep him/her and claim my bloodchild aswell
  2. when i touch my bed i'm gone doesn't matter which time of the day therefore throughout the day i stay far away from it.

  4. Sorry sister i don't know what your expectations were of me or how they relate to my name but i reject weasel terms like ''most'' or ''alot'' or ''many'' if there not accompanied by statistics, also i'm interested in what your definition of ''romance'' is. btw i'm happy for you and your husband insha-allah may it continue this way.
  5. Somali women be honest with yourselves you do not want to marry a Somali man who's skilled in the art of romance - one that gives the Italians and French a run for their money..trust me i know compatriots close to me who have mastered it, the way Sun Tzu mastered the art of war they are perceived as ''exotic''(weird huh? i know) and take full advantage of this. No my Somali sisters you do not want to push your gullible and clumpsy farax of today into a direction he won't be able to return from, cause my friends are gone. No my Somali sisters you do not want to sit at home all alone wondering where your precious farax went to oh bring back the days of the traditional yet reliable farax is what you will say oh why was i forsaken to be given a seat next to the lonely Madame moiselle's and Mama mia's is what you will cry muahaha.... No but serious, i think Somali men need to process todays diasporic reality; the Somali woman of the west in most cases has been absorbing images of her environment since childhood and these include non traditional western romantic stuff therefore these represent her view of Romance and love so if you want to make her happy than compromise and communicate sxb btw I'm always suspicious of female members(on other forums) that start topics criticizing Somali men, most of the time these young sisters have Prison break avatars on their profiles and seem to have a crush on one of those tv-characters combined by a major delusional grandeur(i'm gonna marry him,i'm gonna be a star yada yada) when reality kicks in or is put forth by individuals like me this sometimes results in them waging a passionate agressional war on their innocent Somali brothers but it's just a rush and they eventually return to earth and emulate their proud mothers I.A Somali women..Oy vey
  6. But grandchildren Craig and Meegan Panzirer received nothing - "for reasons which are known to them", according to Mrs Helmsley's will. What could these two have done that was so ''bad that they turned this lady so bitter of hate that she took this grudge with her to the grave? killed the dog's twin?
  7. Kublai khan traded with Mogadishu and Marco Polo was for years a guest of this Mongol Emperor's court so that theory of Madagascar being a corruption of Mogadishu is very plausible

Bro i processed the point you put forth and it's not a satisfying explanation cause places suffering from unemployment always double in crime, places with no central authority will boost an even greater statistic of crime and plunder because it's so easy to do and because of the lawlesness people can get away with it and therefore it's seducing i do not rule out khat completely i'm sure it's playing it's role but when looking at the situation of Somalia it's simply not satisfying to me to revolve all Somali ills around this plant, i know individuals who do not chew yet lead a lazy unproductive life and reason for that being; they don't have a disciplined work ethic which my Grand mother taught her sons and they absorbed it the criminals of Somalia grew up in crime and plunder so they asorbed this destructive way of life, khat didn't teach them to rape and plunder and neither did it neutralize their conscience it's simply life for them Personally i have never chewed that plant and i'm not interested to do so, but i do know one thing i would never change my work ethic because of it. I have a friend who's mother and father are close to divorcing eachother and neither of them chew the plant, it's personal issue's not related to any addiction they are suffering from btw my intial point in the first post was don't make Jews out of Ethiopians meaning don't make imaginary Higher beings who know it all and see it all out of them (similar to the Zionist crap people use as an excuse to hide their own mistakes and blunders)
  9. I don't miss him, i would have missed him if he resigned in 86' but he didn't and therefore he can't sit next to the great presidents before him who stayed civilized from the beginning to the end of their administrations but he's still closer to them than Yey the 'traitor'
  10. Tahliil no disrespect brother but that's b.s i have multiple uncles who chew Khat yet lead very productive lives and support their families here and relatives abroad. The people who chew khat and stay at a Somali marfiish 10hrs a day were allready lazy to begin with and probably were unemployed or had part-time jobs before they started chewing the plant both Yemen and Somalia have a high unemployment rate and therefore young men have alot of time on their hands yet nothing to do and therefore some choose to kill their time with this plant but if both countries had jobs in abundance this plant would enable these youth to work two or more shifts a day and become a positive productive force for their countries young women seek their meager livings from this plant because there isn't a alternative way of making money, if there was they wouldn't engage in this commerce but choose a different path when the ICU banned the plant IMO it was a good thing and many women did at the time complain but the ICU also created alternative means of making a living when they renovated the Somali ports and Airports and created jobs that would clean up the Capital etc etc so create more jobs and the youth will have something usefull on their hands
  11. Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! well said Oodweyne and Kashafa!
  12. Here is an example of a Somali who does show Mandibular Prognathism
  13. There was a nice discussion on the Racial type of Somalis about 6/7 months ago on SOL, here is some interesting info that discredits the foreign influenced phenotype theory some still believe in. Prognathism Canonical variate A Canonical variate B Somalia=94.0 Sweden=95.1 Norway=94.9 Modern Italians=94.3 Ancient Italians=93.0 Modern Greeks=94.4 Ancient Greece=93.0 Turkey =96.5 Palestine=95.7 Early Nubia=94.8 Recent Nubia=98.5 Spain=94.5 West Africa=102.6 Afghanistan=97.7 AMERICAN JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL ANTHROPOLOGY 111:105–134 (2000) Frontal and Facial Flatness of Major Human Populations TSUNEHIKO HANIHARA If the Somali population was a hybrid race they would have shown characteristics present in the Arab and Bantu race(the stereotypical groups some claim we descend from) both Middle Easterners,Modern Europeans and Non Somali/Horn african populations show more prognathism than the Somali people [ September 01, 2007, 12:23 PM: Message edited by: Dhulqarnayn -alSumaale ]

  15. Khat has been circulating in Somalia since the 13th century as it was recorded by Al-umari,but since you explained the Somali's reason for that addiction  maybe you could do the same for the Yemenis on the other side of the Gulf of Aden Yemen kicks the khat habit An organisation has been launched in Yemen to persuade people to stop chewing the popular narcotic leaf, khat. Many Yemenis spend up to eight hours a day chewing the stimulant and more than 80% of the agricultural land is given over to growing it. But last month President Ali Abdullah Saleh announced he was confining his own khat habit to weekends only President Ali Abdullah Saleh: Urged Yemenis to follow his lead and he urged people to follow his example and turn instead to sport and other healthier activities. Doctors say chewing khat can cause unpredictable behaviour and lead to other long-term diseases and psychological disorders. The Friends Without Khat Association was launched on Wednesday to support government efforts to wean people off the narcotic. Government figures show khat takes up 75% of Yemen's irrigation capabilities. The first written account of the effects of khat appeared more than seven centuries ago in an Arabic medical book. Today, several million people in East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula are habitual khat chewers. Source

Originally posted by Khalaf: quote:Originally posted by Dhulqarnayn -alSumaale: That's the thing without qabiil Somali men and women would be Soldiers in a supreme army fighting as brothers and sisters and that's when they cripple Nations and invoke fear I am very surprised at this quote. The first thing that comes to your mind of a Somalia without qabil, is killing, crippling other nations, and invoking fear ?These are the brutal acts that are being committed on our people today and it will only stop if we cripple those committing it and put them out of order that's a fact And I suppose to our “arch enemy” Ethiopia? All those committing the beforementioned humanrights abuses need to be put in their place and one thing that i have processed is; Politicians respect only those they fear(i.e the United States,Russia,China or at the other side of the coin N.Korea and Iran) hence why nothing happened to Somalis who lived abroad when Somalia itself was a stable Nation with the largest army in Sub Saharan Africa would those brutal acts that are happening today in S.Africa happen if the Somali world was united? no!! would there be a so-called O-gaden Campaign today by the TPLF if the Somali world was united? hell no the brave decision that developed into the 64' war by President Aden Abdulle Osman is testimony to this fact and no further campaigns were taken untill H.S himself was toppled Weakness is provocative -Donald Rumsfeld Awoowe, and anyone who has this mentality it gots go, When the Byzantines captured a ''single'' muslim woman and she cried for help Caliph al-Mu'tasim Billah ''crippled'' that Empire and put it out of order for centuries to come untill it was finally taken over by the descendants of the Seljuks so this mentality of defending your people is good! waayo its disturbing and unIslamic as I will explain in bit. To those whom argue for “somalnimo”, nationalism, ect you should know this is no different then clanism. What you believe in is only clanism on a greater scale. Clanism is bonding/identifying/preferring those whom belong to your clan or tribe, and somalinimo or nationalism is bonding/identifying/preferring those whom belong to your nation/ethnicity, how are they any different in principle, its the same thing jalleyal. The Quran says we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another, knowning your kin is Sunnah, and the best of you are those with the best of Taqwa (God-fearing). You say no to clanism or qabil, or qabyalat yet call for the same racism of somalnimo, and nationalism and its qabyalat only this time around it would be against other ethnicities and nations. Wa shaash. Think greater, bani adam is bani adam, no difference between Somali or Ethiopian, the best is the one with Taqwa, therefore say no to all qabyalat. heres article on islamic unity No sxb that's incorrect it's not clannism on a large scale, you prejugded my post and therefore aren't aware of what my original point was and that is; when the Somali world does indeed comes together as ''one'' their power projection will benefit all those non Somali muslims suffering today in East Africa, if Somalis put their differences aside and saw that earthly paradise Allah swt has given them they would honor him by prospering and which in turn would enable us to invite those millions of Palestinians and 4 million Iraqies that are suffering today as refugees across the world, we could invite the Darfurians that are brutally suffering today to our country better yet we could put military pressure on the Sudanese government and make them comply with the wishes of the darfurians, we could generate thousands of scholars who could bring Islam to non muslims around the world so as i said before it's not clannism on a larger scale when i wish that the Somali world is united no! it's simply a concrete foundation every Muslim polity of the past was build on. The Ottoman turks foundation does not originate with the Indonesian muslims no it originates with the Seljuk Turkish House of Osmanli and from there on they build a larger muslim state
  17. I can't believe i missed this topic yes i would!!!!!!!!!! MMA: I've had friends in years and walaahi did not even knew their qabiils. Never even thought or occured to me in a thought. And I can proudly say, those few that their qabiils aan ogaaday after all those years, none belong to my qabiil. That's the thing without qabiil Somali men and women would be Soldiers in a supreme army fighting as brothers and sisters and that's when they cripple Nations and invoke fear not dirty militia's posing as government troops and insurgents who are the laughing stock of the region no qabiil is a mentally united Somali World from Djibouti city to Hargeisa city to Bosaso city to Mogadishu city to Eastleigh city to Dhir Dhabo city and all across the Somali diaspora the Somali World must unite and learn from their past mistakes and Insha-allah we will prosper
  18. Lol spread the word sister ''Men should never ever ever ever take that spot'' no matter what lol btw i was serious with that potential invention cause i would go crazy and be sleepless for nights if i was unable to hug my Barkin and roll around like i have been doing since i was 3

Lol first thing on my mind btw it's unbelievable how women can sleep 9 months straight on their backs(i in my sleep roll at least 90 times on my side on my stomach on my back etc etc in one night) i would never be capable of that a cool invention would be a bed with a big hole in it so the pregnant lady's stomach would fit in perfectly(or would the weight break the lady's back lol damn i'm out of my league here) i know Somali women..there going to force this on us, we must intervene now, while it's still a theory EDIT: What tha.. MR Lee is allready pregnant

  21. I had a dream once where i jumped in a swimmingpool full of caano and i couldn't swim, then i woke up gasping for air in the middle of the night disorientated and thirsty for milk funny thing is this happened after i read a study on the potential caano geel production in Somalia
  22. ah for god sakes the troll hi-jacked another topic with his copy & pasting, stop trolling and next time compose these excerpts in one reply and save us 5 pages of poo
  23. Before i log off this is what i have to say; To me there are two Siyaad Barre's Siyaad nr 1 The brave leader that crippled Ethiopia to it's knees and oppossed a world Superpower and therefore restored dignity to the Somali psyche after that brutal betrayal. The leader that introduced all those great achievements during the earlier period of his rule Siyaad nr 2 The coward that shelled women and children and became a stubborn dictator the thing is; all these leaders of today only come as one ''character'' and that's somebody who's skilled in corruption-genocide-hate-qabiilism-destruction and betrayal and never showed the same qualities as Siyaad Barre nr1 despite the fact that the Somali people and Somalia gave them chances in plenty Salaam!
  24. Xiin Blaming it all on Barre is blowing it out of proportion and simply unfair when it comes to Somali History that was my point, i'm aware of those Rhodesian pilots that were employed by him to cowardly shell our people in the North i would never defend these acts no matter what, but in the early 90s he was toppled and therefore he did not have a say in the matter when it comes to Somali issue's and it's future( before that brutal famine) yes i wish deep down he resigned after his car accident but he didn't and he was overthrown years later there's no doubt in my mind that he left scars behind but the Somalia-Siyaad Barre/Ethiopia-Mengistu Haile Miriam analogy is on ''target'' Ethiopians experienced far greater attrocities during their red terror era and 'we are the world' famines which resulted in millions of deaths yet the rebel leaders didn't flip, quarrell or block foodaid from their people when they toppled the government you see the power that was supposed to protect them was also turned against them and their institutions build up over a period of 50+ years was reduced to rubble aswell so Mengistu did not leave things as they were when he fled similarly as Barre to a foreign African country and till this day he has a death sentence on his head if he ever returned to Ethiopia so that says enough to say these incompetent leaders are all products of Siyaad Barre's rule is disingenous for there are similar nations like Somalia with far worser dictators who's rule did not produce such disgusting individuals as those rebel leaders who have no shame when the country was mourning President Ali Sharmaarke's death and instability began to break out Major General Salad Gabeyre Kediye took over and made a military junta where he eventually put Siyaad as head of the Junta and the country returned to stability, you see that's called leadership(despite the fact the same man excuted him years later but that's not the point) and Aideed simply didn't have this and therefore he should be held accountable for his actions same with all these other groups that are being glorified nowadays the Somali people in every part of the country have shown resilience and strength aswell as a unity and love for themselves when they rebuild their economy, their homes their infrastructure their culture their lives it was never them i refuse to believe my people love destruction and pain more than the Ethiopians or the Rwandans and therefore continued fighting while the beforementioned groups reconciled i refuse to believe that. it's these leaders who try to corrupt the masses after the overthrownment of Barre's government and up to this day it's not the Somali masses that are setting up road blocks no there the once it's being used upon it's not the Somali masses who signed deals with European waste dumpers no it's their health that's being wasted, it's not the Somali masses that want war, pain, famine no these are the things that are being forced upon them and not by Siyaad Barre it's those rebel leaders who gave all power to our foreign enemies who made Mogadishu their nr 1 project and made arm shipments every month prolonging the instability and destruction there, those same rebel leaders allowed this to happen over and over again so there first intention when they took over was never to preserve Somalia or protect it's people from pain and loss todays debacle is not to preserve Somalia or protect it's people no it's the same characters making a circle in their old foot steps, these rebel leaders received multiple second chances after they had witnessed that unbelievable dark page in Somali History 1992/3 which is mindboggling when i look at the numbers and then imagine it being my people but they did not learn there lessons but continue leading us to destruction and pain and for this they will remain in my eyes more evil and corrupt than 2000 Siyaad Barre's combined
