    Marriage

^hehe Ghanima i agree; i don't understand why most Somali ladies choose a extravagant wedding over a down payment on a nice house. When they are broke the stress kicks in and they start to dislike eachother for miniscule reasons and eventually in most cases they divorce. While those with a down payment and some money in the bank live the high life with a koob shaah
  11. 90% of Somalis that perished during the civil war died because of a ''famine'' similar to the one that happened in the 70s only then there was a government in place that prevented it from becoming a crisis. North Korea's famine of 1995 is said to have taken millions of lives so a harvest that fails is serious business A years deathtoll(violent deaths) in Anarchy Somalia was nothing compared to the 2007 - TFG year. There were road blocks extortions, fear etc and all the hallmarks of a Governmentless city but look how fast this situation occurred in the so-called democratic country of Kenya. If it's government is toppled and the rebels bicker about power while kenyans are hit by a famine accompanied by external meddling then Kenya is gone So i doubt this qualifies as ''slaughtering eachother''(i.e Rwanda situation) when you have two regions who were in peace throughout the civil war and a Southern region which was in Anarchy but still made lots of progress in multiple sectors. The six months of ICU stability is evidence of how quikly the situation can be turned around when there is trust and the absence of puppets. Promegranate why are you so interested in opening a can of worms, do you know how easily the content of your post could be refuted?
  12. Japan has 200 clans but there traditional lands are all in their borders, Somalia had states like the Ajjuuraan Empire that spanned 1 million + sq km and had various clans and non Somali peoples in it's realm. Fact is during the scramble of Africa Somali traditional lands were ripped apart which is why several Somali administrations after independence focused on retreiving these territories. All of that manpower and rescources would have been spend on Education and the economy if those Brits hadn't illigally given our traditional lands to states that can't even feed the groups there allready oppressing didn't have the same sickening animosity you see today just click on the video and you will see a lively city consisting of all kinds of clans from allover East Africa. The leaders used this system to manipulate our people and we are still suffering from it Uplift people's standard of living, educate them to the point their view of the world and their surroundings is not as myopic as before and pray Allah swt grants us a leader who does not engage in clan politics then Somalia will prosper very easily cause we allready have business savvy entrepreneurs who have set up a trade network throughout Africa and the Middle east and the rest of Diaspora which we can use as transit points or potential markets
  13. lol i mean the other ones
  14. do you think there are any shops similar to this one today in the Diaspora or Somalia with all these black and white pictures of Somali artists?

Oftentimes they come out to stick their nose in our business. It creates drama for it's TV camera crew. Here wait cheetah, it just got punk'd. 20. Are those phonecalls to the authorities and couples therapy backfiring on some Somali families?(or it could be iritating interfering agencies) here you have two beautiful kids who's parents are still alive but they have been ripped apart from them and their other three siblings and placed into fostercare Adam and Ayman Date of birth Adam January 2002 Ayman September 2003 These siblings are both Somali origin and need to be placed together with a permanent family. There are five children in their family but plans are being made for their siblings to be placed separately. Since being in foster care the children have made good progress although the effects of their early life years are still apparent at times. Adam A happy and funny boy who likes making people laugh. He has a great sense of humour and can be annoyed when he does not have his own way. At school he is achieving above average in the class although he needs responds well to extra support within the classroom. Ayman He is a loveable happy little boy with a warm personality. He needs a lot of attention and enjoys one to one activities. They share a close relationship. The brothers enjoy playing together and follow each other around. They have never been separated. Source
  21. South African customers love Somali supermarkets and shops it's the competition that's fueling and instigating the attacks on our compatriots
