On April 6 this council unaninamously passed a resolution stating its desires to recieve independence before 1 july, so that the country could be united with Somalia when it became independent - Encyclopedia Americana pg 251 Conclusion walaalyaal it was not as if Northern Somalia received it's independence and then said ohh let's join our brothers in the South no! this Union was a pre-requisite to receiving independence from Britain so there was no different view/mentality regarding the political landscape of Somalia it was Unity from the start and had the trusteeship ended in 1975 Northern Somalia wouldn't have received it's independence untill that date please no verbal acrobatics,red herrings or a psycho analysis of me but instead try refuting these points i have laid out.
