  1. When i was still in the womb i was a certified enhanced neurodeveloper. The quest for the golden egg ment i had to elbow my way through millions of identical looking potential brothers, but alas only one made it through and that was me. Whenever i feel insignificant, i reply this story to myself cause Wow I am ME, yes ME, the champion of 86' that is ME, omg so surreal
  2. Fck Pan-Africanism there bunch of slaves to Corporate West Somalia used to train Burundian soldiers when there country was in Shambles(ask BOB*), Somalia intervened and mediated between Uganda and Tanzania when they were about shoot eachother to pieces Never did Somalia volunteer to meddle in the affairs of other African countries when it had the best military in the region, unless it was in her direct interest to do so(Ethiopia,Kenya) but these wartorn countries that can't even handle the militia's that are rampaging their own countries as we speak are somehow going to resolve the Somali problem? again Fck Pan-Africanism
  3. ^Don't pretend their 'homes' arent the sh1tholes we all know they are. There is no suprise here, Uncle Sam tells them to jump and they reply 'how high' i concur with Al Zaylaci

Bro, is there a reason why we can't post pictures in PM's? its been like this for a while now so i doubt it has anything to do with the recent upgrade, is it an anti-spam thing? This however doesn't explain why the same is happening to my signature(see the gaps)
  5. yes but no but yes but no but yes but no
  6. People who seen the movie say it's brilliant, I personally will watch it next friday in the cinema. Nin Yaaban this is not an 'X-men' movie this is about the origins of one of the 'X-men' - Wolverine. If you don't know his history from the comics or even the 90s animated series then you probably won't connect or understand this movie and this might be the reason why the jumping from scene to scene annoyed you but these are basically flashbacks from when he got experimented on(and his skeleton was covered with adamantium by scientists), or when he joined Team X(not X-men). The trailer shows him fighting in a old war which is probably a flashback to WWII when he allied with Captain America. I think i will enjoy this movie, as the whole X-men movie franchise is quite good and this movie includes Gambit with his deck of exploding cards man, he was my favourite character from the 90s animated series so that's a big PLUS!
  7. Isn't that a picture of a Sultan from Harar? or is it a different one? i remember seeing something similar on the First Footsteps in East Africa book cover clarify sxboow!
  8. Admin all of my PM's are missing.

They also had a complex clan-system like us and managed to rid themselves of this problem as an actual 'powerfull influencing factor' in their society through modernization rendering the system obselete, something i wish for Somalia one day!. The Meiji Restoration was what made Japan to become the 2nd largest industrial/economic power in the world today. Japan pre-WWII was a major power but still on par with countries such as India and China in terms of production and output. Post WWII is when Japan turned itself into such an industrial juggernaut by investing heavily into new technology such as automobiles and electronics which they dominate today. Same with South Korea, Post Korean war era it was the poorest country in the world today it has the 12th largest economy in the world! Stability and proper reforms are the key to success!
  10. Slumdog millionaire was beautiful and i keep rewinding at the following scenes: The Runaway scene - nice intense music The Train scene - Finally that crazy artist M.I.A get some deserved attention for her cool music also LOL@ when they get kicked out by the conducter the streetkid replies: ''Is this your Dad's train then?'' lmao Taj Mahal scene - when the kid gets beaten up by a crazy cop after the car of an American tourist couple is dismantled Streetkid: ''You wanted to see the real India, well HERE IT IS!!! lmao and of course AR Rahman as always comes with a beautiful soundtrack, a real gem this movie man! It's not a negative portrayal of India at all, what you see in the movie is already known plus the rapid growth of the economy is highlighted by all the new skyscrapers being build on former slums, so i don't get the anti-hype from Indian groups.
  11. Somalia needs 5/10 billion to rebuild the ruined institutions and strengthen the gains made in Economics,Education and Health care during the Anarchy era for lasting peace. The West can easily cough up this sum but it's not interested. 60 million? The self-proclaimed President of Somalia who has been in office for five terms can cough up more than that, and i'm not talking about dear Pres. Sharif.
  12. He is considered a 'Trophy of American Heroism' and is paraded as such.
  13. Give them 80 mil? I'm not interested in seeing another militia rising up to support this guy's delusional grandeur at the expense of real progress nation-wide.
  14. On second thoughts I'm suspicious, Turkiye is the second most powerful country - military wise - in NATO and NATO has interests.
  15. How does a person optimise a search engine like Google? I could use some of those techniques for a positive version of Somalia.
  16. Beautiful pictures LST could you upload them to Wikicommons? because they will immediately show up on 'google images' when you type 'Somalia' and those are the type of images i want to see representing us.
  17. More strawman arguments, stop being so stubborn and rephrase your original statement, you failed to deliver! and what's with this 'elusive reputation' - 'Mad at painting the Somali people in a negative way' talk? Dude if you told my Grand parents 40 years ago about Somalia's future after the 90s they would say that is impossible but all these horrible and negative things did descend upon Somalis and Somalia, everything that could go wrong went wrong!. The Somali Canvas is full my friend, there is not a spot left, so spare me the ad hominems! anyways i'm out, have a nice discussion!
  18. Sir Q.A just OWN UP and confess that you were simply generalizing our community and you have NO clue about wether there is an actual 'rise' or a 'decline' other than your own 'observations' backed by a website from a fadhi ku dirir complaining about Somali men. I'm not a person that denies reality but at the same time i won't swallow crap even IF challenging you will make me look 'pretentious' and deserving of a -> . Fact is when topics about the 'rising' problem of 'Autism' in the Somali community were posted they were accompanied by statistics displaying percentages of the actual growth rate and the difference between Somalia born children and US born children. That's concrete research! You have given us nothing other than arguments like ''because of our skincolor we must be this way too'' or ''a significant section of this generation was raised by Single parents therefore they will become single parents aswell'' which are all fallacies. I have two uncles who died in the war and their children (my older female cousins and male cousins) today are married and raising their children as nuclear families. Again my word against yours!
