  1. I just received an email from Daniel, he told me to tell you guys to 'drop off a cliff' lol he got great sense of humour.
  2. Alot of families living in flats could suffer similar fates if proper measures to protect people aren't put in place.
  3. I'm a guy that's not fond of spiders especially those big dark ones that creep up on you while you are reading a book, so i found this funny..a wasp turning the BIG SHOTS(tarantulas etc) of the Spiderworld into babymammas lol The Spiderwasp paralyzes the spider/caterpillar which is why they can't do a thing when the baby wasp comes out. Imagine getting stung by one, oh the horror and pain.

Nonsense! Blacks are as racist as any other group of people on this planet and Somalis are no less savage or cruel than the Bantu in times of civil strife. I like you SayidSomal you are a good brother, but this is a stup!d topic that will alienate the non Somalis of the SOL community.
  6. Spider Wasp Spider wasps are long-legged, solitary wasps that use a single spider as a host for feeding their larvae. They paralyze the spider with a venomous stinger. Once paralyzed, the spider is dragged to where a nest will be built – some wasps having already made a nest. A single egg is laid on the abdomen of the spider, and the nest – or burrow – is closed. The size of the host can influence whether the wasp will lay an egg that will develop as a male, or an egg that will develop into a female – larger prey yielding the (larger) females.[3] A complex set of adult behavior can then occur, such as spreading dirt or inspecting the area, leaving the nest site inconspicuous. When the wasp larva hatches it begins to feed on the still-living spider. After consuming the edible parts of the spider, the larva spins a silk cocoon and pupates – usually emerging as an adult the next summer. Some ceropalines lay the egg on a still-active spider, where it feeds externally on hemolymph. In time, that spider will die, and the mature wasp larva will then pupate. http://en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Spider_wasp
  7. http://www.youtube.c om/watch?v=oksXTbcOT 08&feature=related ^^I like that one, it's like hip hop of today, only more creative!
  8. Marx that's RICH coming from a guy who turns every little issue of the Somali community into a 'MARX'S EXCLUSIVE YOUTUBE PRODUCTION'. His pictures shifted government policies in all of the major countries into helping Somalia, what have your videos so far achieved?
  9. Before he entered SOL he probably read the book of Dan Eldon which contains alot of positive stuff on Somalis themselves despite the carnage of that period, the guy was even nicknamed Warsame, mayor of Mogadishu and spoke broken Somali. Or maybe not Daniel personally, he might have people doing research for him on the web, Somaliaonline is the most respected of the bunch so the chance is high they got the message.
  10. I don't take offense if a foreigner says 'Somalian', it's the most logical demonym for a person from the country Somalia since it's name ends with ia, but many don't know it's like calling Afghans/Afghanians, Iranians/ Iranis, Turks/Turkians.
  11. btw why does OLOLfilms cast such ugly looking actors? lol when will be the day where i enter a Somali film in my PS3 featuring compatriots that look like this?: Maybe i should start a professional Casting company...hmmmm
  12. lol Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Association of World Buddhists , now will you return the favor and tell me what SEC stands for?
  13. Well if you can take care of the CPR and the AWB then incorporating a sub shell will be a piece of pie.
  14. I have VHS tapes of my old school plays where my eyes always had this weird fascination with the camera even during my own dialogues, i don't think this has changed. but where is the Casting done?
  15. Lol Cadaan but stars do browse the internet especially if there doing research for a project, people like Christian Bale devour an entire library of books by a specific author if there doing a movie based on his/her book, maybe Daniel is doing the same and SOL is the nr 1 Somali Forum, he shows maturity and neutrality for demanding Somali actors, not many teen stars would care for such a thing, matter fact even senior actors wouldn't care. btw there are also celebrities like Colin Farell who surf the web while drunk and battle bad reviewers
  16. Well done Daniel! , if your a lurker of SOL Daniel Radcliffe Calls for Somali Co-stars Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has called on the producers of his upcoming movie about Somalia to cast actors from the African country to keep the project authentic. The 20 year old is preparing to film The Journey Is The Destination, in which he will play Dan Eldon, the British photojournalist whose work brought global attention to the Somali civil war in the 1990s. And he's hoping the movie's casting directors will maintain respect for the country by hiring actors of the correct ethnicity. He tells Empire magazine, "I don't want to do that horrible Black Hawk Down thing of filming in one part of Africa and then casting actors from a completely different area and doing that awful, 'Oh, they look the same, no one will notice the difference.' "It's this form of very subtle racism that seems to happen sometimes and it's horrible. So I'd hope we can get extras who are Somalian, rather than from South Africa or Zimbabwe, for example." Ridley Scott's 2001 war movie Black Hawk Down came under fire for failing to feature Somali actors despite the fact it focused on a battle that occurred in the African country. http://www.teenholly wood.com/d/209794/10 55/daniel-radcliffe- calls-for-somali-co- stars.html

The crowd some ciyaal suuq raaca ma ka naxaa anymore, especially eversince i saw a Somali biker part of a large of Dutch motorclub, oo xita tiimohiis deerayay like them rockers lol bisinka
  18. The guy who gave his full name and lineage going back seven+ ancestors cracked me up, it reminds me of a Somali classmate who did the same after a teacher asked him his last name
  19. Lol brother wadnaheegii igastaagtay marka aan arkhiyay postkaga, until i watched the actual video. They look nothing like the age category you described, probably twenty year olds. Ajanabiga is probably the husband of the one filming and hence are related to her, but i don't see what got you panicking like that brother since other than watching a graphic video of what sounds like a man being tortured nothing really happened? They definitely don't come over as individuals under duress, so why should i bother?
  20. Yeah the Ethiopian archbishop was assassinated by the people that set Mark W. up. the Ethiopian bishop's name was Desmond Mutumbo lol to add on my previous analogy that's like calling a Hindu priest from India 'Zhang Zhao'
  21. Cara it bothers me when i watch a movie like 'Shooter' where the Horn of Africa is protrayed as 'Swaziland' because the equivalance would be Hollywood casting Chinese actors to play Indians just because they are both Asians. It bothers me when a person is suprised when i tell them that i am from Africa, this stereotypical casting is directly responsible for this misconception. Cara it's the shades.
