I'm hating on my grandmother, mother, sisters, nieces, cousins and fiancee? wow, stay clear from PM Ibti it's a shady weird place, and please do name that nomad your talking about in this topic, so he/she can explain how someone i have never met, and have only had pleasant exchanges with on the internet, could ever hurt me, or worse make me change the romanticist and almost flawless view i have of Somali women?

It would be weird for Allah swt to create a thousand galaxies and only reserve intelligent life to planet Earth, those are probably the 'numbers' he is referring to. If the Aliens have mastered long distance space travel by removing the obstacle of microgravity-induced bone loss, then they are clearly more advanced than earthlings, and if they are hostile then we won't stand a chance, a bit like War of the Worlds, you can only run. watch Fire in the Sky(Megavideo.com)

Mr. Prince, Can't believe you wouldwrite such that? Are you serious? Why? If i was with a group of friends and a girl came up to me asking if she could talk to me for a minute, i would say sure, even if i'm not interested. Imagine the embarassement on her face if i said no? Imagine the embarassement on B's face if she said no? In that case that person is a douchebag and should be avoided at all cost. and yes, women are 'show offs'(same with men, but B is a guy so it's non-applicable). Are you telling me you never have the urge to show off your fiancee/husband to anyone? Old friends?, classmates?, relatives?, never walked with him in a Somali mall and suddenly dragged him to a group of sisters ready to pick him apart then piece him together like he's Pinnochio?

lol 'no smile no humor', xaasidsana, why are you trying to sabotage the young brother for?, she would slap him with a restraining order before he could say 'Aabe...''

Don't play silly 'ignore/hard to get' games, and don't be afraid, do not attempt to get close with her via her friends, there is a chance they like you aswell and savagely sabotage everything as a result, this happened to me back in the day, not so long ago. Not a nice experience when you actually sit down with the person your interested in and have to refute all the hearsay nonsense of you trying to 'get it on' with their friends. Very messy situation and so-called ''Best friends for life'' end up being enemies. First have short little convo's like Hi, hello, how are you? bla bla, then expand this further. Girls essentialy are 'show offs', so if she likes you then she would want you to show interest to her while she hanging with her friends. Therefore gather your nerves, take a deep breath and walk up to her directly when she is in a group, just tell her you want to talk to her for a minute, if she is interested in you she will honor your request, if she refuses, then forget about her, she is not worth it.

How? If your willing to sacrifice a limb for that special person. If that person fell in the sea with a white shark swimming nearby, you'd rather jump and die than live alone and cry, evendo the shark still ends up ripping the two of you apart lolol. This system of measuring what is real 'love' is the most ancient of all, you see if a hunter gatherer's family was jumped by a wild animal, he/she would have two choices, either run, which is a clear sign his/her level of affection towards his/her spouse and seed can't be termed 'love', instead they are a necessity of life. If he/she stays, then the caveman/woman is clearly in love. So visit your local zoo, enter the lion's den, and see for yourself.

I admire them all, each of them are different and unique, they could all change their names and avatars tomorrow and you'd still know who you were dealing with. The brothers on the other hand, half of the participants in the Politics section look and sound the same, or are alien to me, evendo they registered way back and have thousands of posts.

I want two children, one son, one daughter, or two sons preferably. In the case of two daughters, i'm not comfortable with that thought and will lobby and grovel for a son, if it's again a girl i'm going to drive to Paris and scream from the Eifel Tower aaaahhh, then return home with chocolate and gifts for the Queen and three princesses. 3 children is Max.

Dear Somalia I would love to converse with you in your ancient poetic language, but i'm afraid i'm not on that linguistic level yet. You see, the darkest episode in your long rich history is happening in my generation. I and many like me only remember tidbits of the past. I was to young to appreciate the beauty of your capital city, Mogadishu - once the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. Through nostalgic tales courtesy of my parents, your old wonderful spirit has solidified a place in my soul and heart permanently. There is no amount of negativity that could ever replace this feeling of pride, and self-contentment. You are not dead to me, not by a long shot. I perfectly understand that civil wars happen to the most unified and divided, the most rich and the poor, the most neutral and the most aggressive. This is something your sister-countries from around the world have burdened their children with in the past and present, as a test of resilience, faith and usually a pre-requisite for eventual long-term stability. The road towards a stronger 'you' is being built as we speak. The media might have given up on you with all of their sensationalist hype, but your children who became doctors, nurses, teachers, entrepreneurs and succesful diasporans haven't. No they have kept you alive for all of this time and are strengthening the foundations underneath you. Evendo you are only operating at 10% of your potential capacity, you are still according to many economists, technologists and various entities a leader in East Africa in multiple sections, a dead country you are not! The different dresses that some of your more afluent sister-countries adviced you to wear on the international stage never fitted you anyways, we all know the only dress that makes you shine is a Somali one; Xeer, any entity that attempts to impose something alien or corrupt never stands the test of time, and time is on your side. I'm not bitter that this dark episode is happening today, for i know for certain by the time Xiinfaniin's children have reached my age god willing you will be in a better situation. This is your son, the one that crawled as a toddler through the cool grass of your soil in the summer of 1987 and then went on to pee on his aunt's lap, providing you with much needed comic relief.

Some of our generation's kin wouldn't know good husband/wife material if you bombed them with a masha-allah spouse right in the head, like a shell from a T-72 Tank, boom! Ofoourse there is only 0.15th of a second for them to get to know eachother before they splash into eachother's faces, but that would have been enough for our parents and those before them.

Wa dumar Soomaali!

In the beginning there is lust, lust, and some more lust;'your my lambar one', then you have '20000k wedding' with a nice 'haneymoon', then come the babbies, those who survive the latter period, I consider couples who have true jaceyl.

1234 words, if you continued this everyday for a month and a half, you would have a decent sized novel.

I just watched a good movie called 'the Village' by M. Night Shyamalan, and the intentions of the elders with regards to escaping the darkness of corrupt cities/countries was a concept that appealed to me greatly. Their project to build a safe traditional environment for their children in the form of a isolated 19th century-esque village is very similar to the projects by Somali elders that materialised into Somaliland, Galmudug and Puntland after the collapse of central governance in Somalia. The people of the South who attempted similar projects in the Capital in the last decade simply could not emulate their Central, Northeast and Northwestern brothers because that area - Mogadishu - was prime real estate in terms of potential political and economic revenue, atleast considered such by the warlords and the international community i.e manipulating countries, donors, and political orgs etc. There have been brothers and sisters in the South however who have tried to keep some semblance of order by manuevering through the cobweb of warlords, militias, invading armies and now Islamists. They are the teachers, doctors, and entrepreneurs that keep the schools enrolled, the hospitals and the markets open for civilians. The same men and women who build a complete new university from scratch, one of the biggest in East Africa and currently in the top 100: The above university was build far away from the Capital and the influence of the forces of darkness whose touch turns everything to rot. The reason of this topic really is to discuss the idea of building an entire new city somewhere in the vicinity of where the Shabelle and Jubba rivers meet around the area of Jilib and Jamaame. This city would provide an alternative for those fleeing the demonic claws of whatever retarded self-rightous power(s) that is rampaging our old beloved capital. Instead of going from the frying pan into the fire(dabaab etc) they would enter this new city as a safehaven. Because this city would be build in a lush region and has access to the sea it could easily become self-sufficient. This would be a sanctuary, a fortress of solitude, where the political law is the Xeer law. Community matters would be handled through Shir councils, a clear perimeter would be guarded by sons and daughters of those living in the city. The powers that be and their shady international backers, who are still holding the now completely empty capital hostage would soon realise their plans to force the Somali people into extinction is a futile dream. It is therefore important that the average hardworking and life-loving Mogadishan residents and Southerners in general start seeing things in persepective; is it worth the risk to wait as one warlord is toppled by the next?, one weak government falls after another?. The case of the aforementioned Somali men and women who decided to build a rising African university in a safe environment should be taken as a good example, but the analogy would be about their 'children' and their god given right to live and grow up in a safe environment: A self-sufficient autonomous city, isolated from the conflict: The architecture of this alternative city would ofcourse reflect Somali architecture.
