  8. ^^^^^Looooooooooooooooooool^^^^^^^ Spot on maskiin...but that is Nationalist...putiing the picture of his brother on the 'phone' at the expense of the people of Hafuun. On a serious note I would like to inform our brothers and sisters please donate money to MUSLIM AID ORGANISATION who are directly helping the people of North-East through the regionqal government of Puntland. Please do it is the least you n can do for the over 2000 people who have lost everything they had and are in the brink of starvation and spread of disease. Once again please say your dua's in the Friday prayers today for our brothers and sisters and the Muslims in Asia who have perished and those who are affected by this tragedy. Toll rises in Somalia, a land already ravaged
  9. Yes sxb, like some have the opinion that the World is round, others flat and some odd ones believe it is traingle. I would put your opinion on parallel with the latter one in regard to your opinion of the Ethiopian influence....

I think the stage is of pepet is well gone, the current parliament, President, and the prime minister is led, owned and ordered by the Ethiopian Government. And anyone who denies that is at face value rejecting the true facts. To talk about whether it is indispensable( as some learned ones say) or benefitial is acceptable but to deny it outright then we are not being realistic.

  12. Originally posted by Baashi: Ethiopia support for the Somalia’s embryonic peace process is indispensable . It was Ethiopia’s long arm that reached out to tab Musse Yalaxow, Hassan Qalaad (Allah yarxama), and Mohammed Dheere and managed to challenge TNG I of Arta in Mogadishu...imagine that in Mogadishu! These obscure personalities, with Ethiopia support, have become a force to reckon with. Ethiopia support helped Abdullahi Yussuf regain control in Puntland. Ethiopia gave RRA the upper hand in the Bay area conflict. The political grouping of SRRC was created by Ethiopia’s friends. Ethiopia gave them an effective regional representation and provided them all the logistics of military hardware to make their militia competitive in their respective area of influence. Why? That’s something to ponder with...remember SNM, USC, and SSDF would not have done well without the Ethiopian base to wage war and without Ethiopian and Libyan military support. Xaasha...! Are they doing all this or have they done it for the betterment of Somalia.? And since you say that their support is indispensable could you please expand on the reason why it is benifitial for the EThiopians for Somalia to achieve statehood once again, bearing in mind it wants so in light of your supporting statement? Also on the same issue do you think Ethiopia wants or will support S/land to once again rejoin the rest of Somalia now that we have a Federal Government?

On a serious note this problem exist Smith approach it and discuss it in its manner ok sxb... 15. Why I wonder Egypt is giving the cold shoulder to Presisdent Yusuf? Could it be his close romance with Zenawi or are there other reasons that strech back to old days. One thing that is clear though is that Egypt is an important ally and Yeey needs them more than they him. Or could they, the Egyptian, possibly disregarding the process of Somali nation building in Nairobi as a whole farce. Very dangerous view, cause if that is the case I dont think this Igad governments orchestrated by Ethiopia can go against an opposition view held by Egypt. But then again Yeey does not give any significance to this demanour cause his interest lies with Zenawi who will supply him with the financial and firepower to restore or should I say capture the rest of Somalia that is not under his thumb.Whatever the case it shows clearly the furure of Somalia is been shaped by Zenawi and Co. with the delight of Yeey, now whether that will prevail or even come to existance needs to be seen, the odds so far is that it is a very remote chance. Brothers & Sisters 100 people are feared to have been the victims of the Tsunami and the figures could rise, please say your Duca and contribute your donation to Aid agencies who are working with the government of Puntland in order to establish the effects of the tidal wakes. But please contact aid agencies and do your bid. It is time like this you need get rid of your difference and help your brothers and sisters who are affected by this tragedy. Illah ha uu naxaristo inti ku dhimatey kuwa ka badbadaney Illaho kalmey...amiin..! Over 100 Somali fishermen feared killed by tsunamis More than 100 Somali fishermen are presumed dead as a result of deadly tsunamis that battered the country's coast over the weekend, a presidential spokesman told AFP. "The number of missing people, who are assumed to be dead, is more than 100 along the coastline at the Indian Ocean in the regional state of Puntland," Yusuf Ismail Baribari, a spokesman for Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed said. "They went fishing as usual early yesterday morning and have not returned because of the tragedy." Mr Baribari said the fishermen came from the Gara'g, Haafun and other villages in north-eastern Puntland region and sailed to the sea with small wooden boats called dhows, which they use for fishing. Tidal waves, triggered by an earthquake in Indonesia have left more than 20,000 people dead in Asia, also smashed several points in the Africa's eastern coast on Sunday. "We are appealing for immediate humanitarian assistance," Mr Baribari said, adding that tidal waves shattered several boats along the country's coastline. The chaotic horn of Africa country has no effective mechanism of responding to disaster since 1991 when dictator Mohammed Siad Barre was toppled and the whole nation plunged into chaos and anarchy. Accordingly, Mr Baribari said it was hard to assess the scale of disaster in the country of about 10 million inhabitants with a vast coastline, stretching from Kenya to the Gulf of Aden. 19. We mention the ordeal of Zamzam which is infact sad. But not far from there a sovereign African Nation that has a government (unlike Somalia) and which swore to protect the rights of its people has done exactly the opposite of that. Little over a month ago two British Soldiers on Training in Tanzania went for a nite out and drinks in Dar es Salaam along with the rest of their regiment. They enjoyed the cheap beer and food and picked up girls. One of the girls that went with them was found murdered and naked on the shores of Dar beach following day near their hotel. The police were quick with their investigation and with the help of witnesses the two were aarested and charged for the murder of Conjesta Ulikaye, I repeat charged. Suprisingly for they to be brought to the high court and their case heard took longer than expected, and when it came to court three days ago, the men, against a mountain of evidence, were aquitted.Let me correct that, infact their case was droped. Now probably most of you would say girls like Conjesta Ulikaye desrve wat comes to them cause of the nature of their business. But at least she and her family desereved justice in this case. Anyone who knows Tanzania or even its neighbouring countries will know justice has a long way to go against money and influence, but what gives me the aggro is it would have never hapened in UK. If it was the other way around the soldiers would have not seen the light of the day ...pity, sad and furious read the whole story; Shock as murder suspects set free
