Somalia: Five people killed in clan revenge attacks in Qardho Five people were killed in two separate clan revenge attacks in Qardho today 14th October 2010. “Unidentified gunmen ambushed and opened fire four men who were crossing at the Salaama Street in Qardho” witnesses said. “The assailants escaped from the scene immediately after shooting” witnesses added Sources say that another man was killed by the same gunmen. It is not known what prompted the killing but the reports say it is linked to a revenge attacks between two Osman Mohamud Sub-clans in the town of Qardho. The latest episode in growing violence is threatening the stability of the Qardho town, headquarter of karkaar region. There was no ssdf involved as a faction or ssdf fighting usc but a whole Clan battle took place. SPM fought against Siyaad bare under the mercy of USC later they helped fight USC faction of caydiid against Ali Mahdi, and later they divided into different subclans factions which eventually led to their collapse.

The SPM was a wing under the USC under General Caydiid the SPM even fought along Caydiid against the manifesto of Ali mahdi and ssdf did not even exist maybe in name but there was no Faction Called ssdf with an army in 1990 or in 1991. So it makes sense if President Siilaanyo proposed a interim transitional formula between the SNM and USC. The Somaliland government and the people of Somaliland wishes the people of Somalia and their government all the peace and progressiveness can get.

A khadar there was no other Clan faction in Somalia to deal with other than the USC at that time there is nothing Clanish about that and it would have been a transitional formula so i don't see a problem.

Well A khadar the USC and the SNM were the only Armed factions that existed the somali national army was non exist at that time it was the best solution. I am not sure about Cigaal it was Siilaanyo. Cigaal was not involved in the Armed Factions. SNM did what it could and when finished their job they became civilians of the republic.
