Former Somali Finance Minister joins Somaliland's opposition party Monday October 21, 2024 Hargeisa (HOL) – Former Somali Finance Minister Abdirahman Duale Bayle and several other prominent politicians have officially joined Somaliland's opposition party, Waddani, just weeks before the November elections. Bayle, who recently distanced himself from his previous stance advocating for 'Greater Somalia,' returned to Somaliland after years of service in the federal government. "We have decided to join this party and work with them. We are urging the people of Somaliland to vote for this party. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi Irro is the only person who can save this country," said Bayle. Bayle and his colleagues emphasized that Waddani offers the best path for Somaliland's future, particularly in addressing the concerns of regions like Awdal. They praised the party's readiness to bring about meaningful change, describing Somaliland as a "rising sun" that requires strong leadership. In recent months, Waddani has garnered increasing support from various political figures, positioning itself as the largest opposition party. The party is focused on winning the presidency in the upcoming elections. Last week, two former deputy ministers, Mohamud Elmi Yusuf, former Deputy Minister of Education, and Nasir Aydid Mohamed, former Deputy Minister of Fisheries, resigned from their posts within the ruling Kulmiye Party and joined Waddani. They cited the need for change and voiced their support for Irro's leadership as the best way forward for Somaliland.

I did not make that statement; you did. You implied, by asking whether I knew who her father was, that her father is not from Somaliland. So why are you upset when I suggest that perhaps Moorgan could be her father, especially since she visited him in Garowe and even took a picture with him? You yourself indicated that she was in Garowe for a specific reason, hinting that her father might be from there. Why, then, is it so surprising when I speculate that Moorgan could possibly be her father?

The uae is behind this all .but I don’t think any one will entertain this .because we don’t want houthis to destroy our coastal territories. We rather would share. Arms and logistics with the Houthi’s and arm our selves . Well unless the Israeli offer is to good which would mean training of the army . Which also could mean building a capable navy force for the nation . Full defense treaty .and to establish and anti missle system on the coast of Somaliland . Obviously full diplomatic recognition . But I don’t think it can go that way . Since the houthis are temp and muse won’t make such a decision unless sl gains really from this . Which I doubt

Israel wants to establish a military base in Somaliland Interesting story: At an Israeli request and funded by the United Arab Emirates: Israel wants to establish a military base in Somaliland, in exchange for recognizing Somaliland as an independent country and an ally of Israel The Global Security Situation group 2:00 AM The United Arab Emirates is pressuring Somaliland to sign a joint cooperation agreement and establish an Israeli military base on its territory. The United Arab Emirates has had a military base since 2017 and is one of the few countries that has recognized Somaliland as a country. In addition, it invests money in the country and trains Somaliland's security forces Somaliland is part of Somalia which declared independence in 1991, but the country is not recognized by the countries of the world. The country is at the entrance to the Bab al-Mandab strait, opposite Yemen There were reports in the past that Israel and the United Arab Emirates wanted to take over the island of Socotra in Yemen and establish a military and intelligence base there with Israel. According to reports from March 2024, Israel and the United Arab Emirates took over the island of Abdul Kori west of the island of Sokrata and established a military base there including a runway for airplanes In the past it was reported that Israel has an intelligence base in Eritrea, which oversees the Straits of Bab al-Mandab, on a mountain peak more than 3000 meters above sea level, about 135 km south of the Eritrean capital It seems that following the attacks of the Houthis and the discovery of Iranian warships in the Red Sea, Israel is trying to increase its military and intelligence hold in the Bab al-Mandab straits area. A new dawn for Maakhir after SSC, Awdal emergence.

I am the original Ajji and the rightful owner of Ceelka Hargeisa land Lord of Hargeisa , a legacy that my ancestors have established for centuries. Let us put semantics aside, not everyone born in Hargeisa can claim to be truly from Hargeisa. When we speak of the indigenous people of this city, there are only a select few who can genuinely trace their heritage back to Hargeisa. Simply being born here does not make one a true Hargeysaawi just because ur mother gave birth in Hargeisa u still have no say over Hargeisa or can claim it . By that logic, we might as well declare that Cadde Muuse is from Marka, Farmaajo from Mogadishu, and Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke from Hobyo, simply due to the places of their birth. Now, to move forward: from the very beginning, your uncle, Cabdillahi Yusuf ama Colonel Yey habaar qabihi Mudug , sought to bring Ethiopian troops into Somalia to safeguard his little fiefdom known as the Tigrayan funded Government (TFG). It was on the backs of Tigrayan tanks that Cabdillahi Yusuf was brought from Jowhar to Mogadishu, escorted into Villa Wardhiigley by general gabre who then slapped him there . To this day, the Ethiopian Embassy remains entrenched within the same bunker, and neither Fiqi nor his associates have managed to extricate them. For what it’s worth, the majority of Ethiopian troops withdrew from Somalia in 2009, at which point a new command was formed. The ICU (Islamic Courts Union) wing that relocated to Djibouti eventually merged with the TFG. Figures such as Sheikh Dalxiis, Sekeriye, and others defected as the ARS group, while the Muqawama resistance splintered, leading to the rise of Al-Shabaab. Xisbal Xasuuq allied itself with Al-Shabaab, Dahir aweys groups, and the once unified ICU fractured into two factions. Contrary to common perception, the TFG under Sheikh Dalxiis did not entirely depend on the presence of Ethiopian forces in Somalia. Djibouti, Kenya, Burundi, and Uganda all joined the efforts, forming a new military command. Ethiopia’s integration into AMISOM did not occur until 2014. The heart of the issue was the Somali people’s broad opposition to Ethiopian troops being stationed in their country, which ignited the crisis to begin with. While much has changed since 2009 still we are not there yet , it is not necessarily for the better but there is some progress. The political framework has evolved, which is why the current Somali Federal Government (SFG) enjoys far more legitimacy than your former TFG ever did indeed. -

The Somali people opposed majority of its people opposed the Ethiopian invasion no matter what clan there were enough from the big foot community and even some other d block clan opposed Ethiopia remember sekeriye icu member and even our resident che was opposed to the Ethiopia invasions it isn’t just black and white it is disengenous from ur part to call Hiiraan online clannish when they shared the same sentiment with the vast majority of Somalis it was just ur subclans and few other individuals from the unuka clan who were propagating the lies of the tfg the tigrayan funded government the majority of the unuka clan opposed even cabdilahi yusuf and his tfg . Only a handful warlords from their clan such as Mohammed Dhere and salaad cali jeele and Geedi were supporting the tfg . As for the owners of daljir and wardheernews being reer hargeisa is just absurd to say ,being born in hargeisa doesn’t mean ur reer hargeisa what kind of mindset is this. -

Hiiraan online is pretty balanced and neutral they call Somaliland Somaliland they call khatumo khatumo . They call dowlada federalka dowlada federalka. They call puntland puntland . Are u now claiming there was no incident in eastern sanaag . Wardheernews is not a Somali website it’s a kuumbo website founded by faisal rooble and other ultra rightwing kuumbowists . as for maakhir I think reer maakhir are now after self determination and they wish to free themselves from the pirate cousins . Who have done little for them their people the suldan are now all inboard for this maakhir project this is good for the region for Somalia and it’s also good for Somaliland . Because the natural order of thins will be re established. Suldaan siciid wa Maakhir sultan of Somaliland . As his father and grand father were as well this make sure the people of maakhir will be re connected with their main country of Somaliland -

Fighting erupts in Badhan as Puntland and Maakhir forces clash over territory Monday October 14, 2024 A group of people gathers outside Rahma (Raxma) Hospital in Badhan, Sanaag region. SUBMITTED Garowe (HOL) — A brief clash broke out this morning between Puntland forces and troops from Maakhir State in Badhan, Sanaag region, intensifying a standoff that has been in place since Sunday. Both sides remain entrenched in their positions just outside the district, with no reports of major casualties. The confrontation occurred when Puntland forces attempted to block Maakhir State politicians, who had been touring the Sanaag region, from entering Badhan. The visit follows growing friction between the two administrations as Maakhir State seeks to assert its presence in the area. Although the clash did not result in immediate casualties, the continued military buildup on both sides points to a potentially dangerous escalation. The situation remains fluid, with local sources expressing concerns about a larger conflict if the standoff continues unresolved. Abdirahman Dhoore, the leader of Maakhir State and a former Puntland MP, has remained defiant, stating that they will not be prevented from accessing any part of the Sanaag region. “We have the necessary forces to defend our cause and will continue to strengthen our administration,” Dhoore declared. Dhoore, expelled from Puntland’s parliament in 2020 for inciting unrest, has accused Puntland’s leadership of orchestrating his removal from office. He was recently elected Maakhir State’s leader during a political meeting in Mogadishu, which further fueled tensions with Puntland’s central administration. The situation remains tense as diplomatic efforts to defuse the crisis have yet to materialize. -

Ciiro will be a great president and he will serve his country and this time we will hunt our enemies. The duriyad clan now seem to be United and hargeisa is singing and turning orange . For two long others have tried to create friction between brothers. East Burco west burco south hargeisa north hargeisa today we are one. And it is a lie that wadani is leaning towards unity with the bunker never. If that was the case they would have never turn this big . -

Somaliland will go to the polls again for the fourth time they will elect their president by one man one vote. Fourth presidential elections in 21 years time . 2003 2010 2017 2024 if u look at all four presidents have led for 7 years ina rayaale 8 years because he held the position when ina cigaal died in an interim period of a year i think we should make the sl term of presidency a term of 8 years hence u will not have extensions and all of that this time the same contenders as the last elections ciiro wadani kulmiye biixi Waraabe ucid also four other politician organisations will contest to be come the national party this time so far so good it will be close one between biixi and ciiro and this year might be the time ciiro actually might win he gained allot of popularity among the people And also due to the errors of biixi administration on how he handled the laascanood war it might create new hope for change though ciiro one advise for him he needs to get rid of all the ex kulmiye in his camp if he really wants to present him self as a man who wants to change the country he needs to get rid of the likes of xamarjj and discard xirsi once he is president and waabeeye and others we need nee face I even saw the former former monster kulmiye Abdilahi cumar be in wadani we don’t need these cats New fresh people somaliland Guul
