Somalia-Somaliland Talks detrimental to Somalia's unity
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Abtigiis's topic in Politics
Let me quote you're President Hassan sheikh Mahamuud Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud: Ilaa iyo hadda inta aan ognahay waxa ay tahay wadahadaladaasi waa bilow. Aad iyo aad ayaan u soo dhoweynaynaa. Aad aan raali uga nahay, ugu faraxsanahay. Waxan leenahay labaatan sano, dhowr iyo labaatan sano ka dib in ay hada bilaabatay fursad lagu wada hadlo Maamulkaa Somaliland ka jira halkaa. Waxaan leenahay Dowlada Somaliland anagu in aan la fadhiisano aad iyo aad wada hadalkii bilawday meeshii uu ka bilawday waa laga dhaqaajinayaa. Si fiican ayaa looga dhaqaajinayaa. Xanaf iyo xasaasiyaad iyo wixii carqalad ku noqon karo oo dhan ayaan ka doonaynaa. Anagu hore ayaan u sii soconaa oo waxyaabaha tiirarka ah ee asaasiga ah ee lagu hishiiyo xitaa waxaan rabaa mustaqbalka in lagu daro manjahka waxbarashada si jiilasha cusub ee Soomaalida ahi ay u ogaadaan wixii lagu midoobay iyo in ay muqadisaad in ay yihiin oo in la ilaaliyo ay tahay. Si aanay u dhicin sodon sano afartan sano kale markaan dowlad ahaano hadiiba aan midowno markaan dowlad ahaano ka dib hadana aanan isigu dhicin oonan u kicin. Lakiin aniga dowladaan madaxda ka ahay ee midnimadu waa noo muhiim waana waxay noo tahay wax aan yacni option kale ama dookh kale oon ahayn dalka in la mideeyo ma qabno. Lakiin hadana sidaas wadadaas aan rabnaa in lagu mideeyee ama wadadii shalay lagu midooboo sodon sano markii mid la ahaa ka dib la isku dilay ma doonayno in dib loo qaado. Let me Quote President Ahmed Siilaanyo Talks or no talks our Sovereignty is neither for discussion nor compromise . . . Following the costly reclamation of our independence and in view of Somalilanders’ desires for self-rule, we do hereby ask the world to respect our people’s decision and recognize Somaliland as a free country with full membership at the United Nations by President Siilaanyo -

The only way to rescue the people of bari from Farooles shackles is first support a next leader for those regions in 2013. If that doesn't work he will be unseated by the people themselves i believe in the people of bari and nugaal, they know what is good for them. The people will get the support of their government in Mogadishu automatically everything will fall in place. It will take a while but the government will take the right steps regarding those regions. -

A new era for Somalia a new leader and a new parliament speaker and a new leader in galmudug the rest of the country is not busy with the federal system. I agree the President should be aware what is going on in the regions of bari and Nugaal he will create provincial governments when faroole starts refusing to step down. -

Somaliland: NEC Asks Progressio to Coordinate International Election Observers Sunday, 23 September 2012 17:13 voters and International observersBy: HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The National Election Commission –NEC is scouting for an agency to coordinate election observers. Though NEC is yet to choose, the ultimate agency to coordinate international election observers Progressio INGO seems to have preference number one. According to a letter, availed Somalilandsun NEC has requested Progressio to spearhead international election observers coordination during the imminent local council elections slated for 28 November 2012. While Progressio is has not yet responded to the NEC request submitted on 21 September, the UK registered charity is competent for the duties having actively participated in the country's democratization from as far back as the early 2000's. Progressio, which receives its funding from the UK Department for International Development (UKaid), trusts and individuals, has operated in Somaliland for a decade implementing activities in diverse fields in partnership with local NGO's. The UK Charity conducted similar international Election observer coordination for NEC during the country's 2005 parliamentary and 2010 presidential elections. The NEC letter to Progressio signed by the election body's chairperson Eng. Ali Yusuf Hamari, dated 21 September read in part: Dear Friend You may aware that Somaliland is scheduled to hold local district council elections on 28 November 2012, and as the statutorily incorporated commission responsible for overseeing the process, we wish to invite your organization (Progressio) to send international observers to witness this significant event. NEC welcomes a diverse range of international observers, and is particularly keen to ensure a strong representation from African countries. Unquote Various administrations of the unrecognized Somaliland with the full support of the entire citizenry have validated unwavering commitment to the country's democratization process initiated in 1991. The fledgling democratization process has received worldwide acclaim due to the witness borne by International observers who have been an integral part of the very successful national referendum, as well as three elections namely: local council-One, Parliamentary-One and two presidential polls. In fact, the latest presidential election held in 2010 elevated the status of the country internationally after a peaceful handover by Ex-president Rayale to incumbent Silanyo whose Kulmiye overwhelmed the then Ruling UDUB party at the polls. The handover in peace and democratically astounded many since many had determined, wrongly, that Somaliland would succumb to post-election mayhem similar to Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ivory Coast etc. If Progressio accepts the NEC request, the Development planning unit at University College London shall support it in the coordination and accreditation of international election observers for the local council elections slated for 28 November 2012. Before assuming its current name of Progressio, the UK charity was known as the Catholic Institute for International Relations (CIIR), For a recent 2012 election research conducted by Progressio and titled "Local elections will be tough test for democracy" follow this link http://somalilandsun.com/index.php/politics/1400-somaliland-local-elections-will-be-tough-test-for-democracy

^^ He knows deep inside that Somaliland is negotiating from a strong position they have their house in order they have territorial control. But he doesn't want to admit that so he goes on and on about that these talks are useless and eventually he contradicts him self. -

The ustaad very controversial figure in Somali history some see him as a hero Mujahid some see him as a camel thief some see him as a holy man some consider him the first Somali warlord. We should read all literature Guri-Barwaqo Book the Books of Aw Jamac Cumar ciise the books written Swayne Cawar and many more. -

The 50 most influential Africans Our list of influential people will certainly be disagreed with. Why is this fantastic woman not included? How could this master-of-the-universe have been forgotten? This debate is certainly more important than our own selection, and we encourage you to continue your arguments and propose new candidates on our website, www.theafricareport.com. In the meantime, we want to outline two caveats and explain our method. First, we preferred to look at less well-known people: not the usual suspects who appear regularly in the media and stamp the conference circuits. We do however have an 'A-list' of the great and the good. And, for balance, we also have a list of the bad and the ugly, those whose influence is more negative and are under investigation or indictment. Second, we wanted to present exemplars of trends that we feel have resonance beyond the individual selected. For example, the reach of religion, or the renaissance of Africa's think tanks. There are any number of imams and priests and healers who have a huge influence on their followers – but we have included just one representative. Likewise, Africa's intellectuals and activists, a vital part of the upending of the corrupt establishment in North Africa, continue to make their mark felt. We have space for just one think tank, from Ghana, that continues to publish influential reports on inflated costs in the oil sector, keenly noted and perhaps emulated by Nigerian civil society. There are also Africans who run institutions that make a real difference to the day-to-day life of their co-citizens, such as the competition commission in South Africa. To put together the list, we reached out to the lifeblood of this magazine, our correspondents, who in turn reached out to their networks on the ground. We called on partner organisations and publications. The long list stretches into several hundred worthy candidates. Only 50 made the final cut● Read the original article on Theafricareport.com : The 50 most influential Africans | The Africa Report.com Follow us: @theafricareport on Twitter http://www.theafricareport.com/north-africa/the-50-most-influential-africans.html

General Duke;872652 wrote: The issue is can the President who has no real base & without even securing Mogadishu can ignore, play arrogant or dismiss the strongest most unified entity in Somalia? General Duke;872662 wrote: XX. Again a PM from Gedo/Galgaduud will not accept the secessionist SNM clan nonsense. That we can agree on. There might be some brotherly rivalry between us, however we agree on Somalia's sovereignty territorial integrity. We are for a unified peaceful Juba/Azania State, foe the vacation of occupied lands in SSC territories by the SNM clan militia and for the return of properties in the South to it's rightful owners.. This is a fact, this sub clan this and that is just to confuse the hell out of you:D This is not about Somaliland or who supports what i am just telling you what Hasssan sheikh will do and how he will operate and this not what XX wants. Hassan sheikhs priority is getting the support of the Somali people in gedo and the Somali people in the Lower juba. Hassan sheikh policy is about securing those areas and establish his govt there. Puntland already supports the government and they said they welcome the new president. He now is focusing on the rest of the country why is that so hard to understand duke no need to go on and on about lost lost properties in Mogadisho and subclanish rivalries we are talking about who the president will pick.
-
Duke hassan sheikh wants the support of people of gedo galguduud and Jubada hoose he wants to focus on the south, Whats the point of a Puntland Prime Minister nothing Puntland will support the government its peaceful. Hassan sheikh wants to divide alshabaab into 3 catogories he said that a group of hardliners of foreign elements he will fight them the youth misguided individuals of youth, he will try to rescue them from shabaab islamist and the other group are the nationalist there are thousands of reer gedo and in the jubas who are nationalist Shabaabist and they oppose Kenyan troops in Somalia and the azania project he wants their support.

General Duke;872653 wrote: Rest assured that any credible man from that community of ours will not for an instance recognize Secessionist SNM. After all they were the once who opposed it the most. i am just telling you who he is going to pick not what i like or what i favor come on duke you can do better than that.

Prime Ministerku wuxu noqonaya nin ka so jeeda gobolada gedo iyo Galguduud gaar ahaan cabuudwaaq.
