He is one of the best Song writers of this century and also a great poet , i advise Abdubark ilkajiir to stay away from politics Somaliland is proud of you i have met him in 2007 when i visited Sheffield. He is very talented as for attending Koonfurian clan parties he gets invited and cares about the plight of the Somalis in Somalia. But the man is a ardent Somaliland supporter, the whole xirsi versus him is also not cool they both need to stop.

Breaking News: Interior minister on his way to Kismayu
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to oba hiloowlow's topic in Politics
Well done the trip was well planned i am hearing the President will visit Kismayo soon -
If the guy wants cadalaad why isn't he addressing the whole story how the hell is it possible that one clan has the governor of Maroodijeex and the mayor of hargeysa how come he didn't mention that. How come he didn't mention that one clan has the governor and mayor ship of saaxil. How come he didn't address the mayor and governor of selel and seylac are both from the same clan how come he didn't address the governor and mayor of sanaag are from one clan. Why is the man specifically attacking a certain clan caafimaad maha waxasi. How come he is fixated with only one clan wa qof maskax yar dunidu ka weyn habar burco fadhida.

If some one is opposing the government fine its good kulmiye is to strong and it needs a balanced opposition but one thing i dislike is that stinking habar habar politics. Based on nothing like the guy who wrote this shameful article claiming that certain Somaliland clans are not allowed to present themselves as candidates in their own bloody capital. Hellow in what kind of world does the author live in, perhaps in his own little habar world, habarta goblantay. Africa own there are many things wrong with the SL government no one can ignore that and it needs to be addressed and it should be the concern of all the Somalilanders. But this guy is specifically attacking a certain clan who are most likely his closest kin. We have UCID and wadani they are the voice of the opposition and perhaps the guurti members. But attacking ur fellow Somalilanders will not solve the problems Somaliland facing. Miskinada yar eeh tamandhada ku ibinaysa burco maxay ka ogtahay Siilaanyo iyo xirsi iyo waxan.waliga ururiye noqo not kala firdiiye , Somaliland one nation god bless.

Khadafi;902046 wrote: Lets look at things from another perspective, .... The TPLF and EPLF when they were both rouge rebels fighting for independence they were united and fought the same battle, The TPLF (wooyane) would have never attained victory without the support of there fellow tigrayan brother (EPLF)). and Eritrea would never have attained victory if they would not have been recognized by the TPLF-Hamasian Tigrayans from Ethiopia! Now take a look on Somalia, Somaliland &Puntland jailing so-called ONLF terrorists, ONLF rebels in dis-agreements with other somalis who hail from other clans, and of course the Somali state allied with TPLF regime. So whats the solution? Soomali-galbeed xorriyad waxay haleeyaan marka wey walaalaha soomaliweyn ey fahmaan muhiimada middnamada TPLF was initially fighting for secession they changed their plans in 1989 after the derg was humiliated at the battle of of Afabet by the EPLF. Eritrea war against the derg the Ethiopian regime of mengistu was a different one the Eritreans had little support but the the Eritreans were heavily involved in inner Ethiopian conflicts for centuries. And teaming up with the TPLF helped to achieve their final goal by the way Hamasien is an Eritrean province that's where the Elites of Eritrea are from isyas afarwerki, ras wolde Micheal ,Sebhat Ephrem. Fighting for independence is one thing it needs to come from the people of the region if the people of Somali galbeed region are united in their quest for independence than they can reach it Somaliland Somalia djibouti and others can only support. But it needs to come from the people themselves. The Former Somali republic tried to liberate that region but they handled it wrong using the Somali army the self determination needs to come from the Somali people of that region. Somalia cant violate Ethiopias borders and commit suicide again like we did in 1977.

Ofcourse the government wasn't handling the situation well in saaxil but the author of this despicable article is dividing the close communities even further with his clan hatred no one will take him serious. The author he is not really addressing the core problems Somaliland is facing instead he is blaming and attacking his fellow kin, just because he doesn't like the Kulmiye government. There are many people in Somaliland who are not fan of Kulmiye and how the government is running the country but attacking entire communities wont solve the problem.

The southern hargeysa elders in 2009 called Kulmiye the new Naziz. Oba you need to understand the SL political culture these people talk to much in Hargeysa you can grab the mic and insult a clan and it means nothing. in SL you have the clan from selel threatening the borama clan but its just talk Somalilanders love talking but there is never action. If i go to Xamar today and insult reer Boondhere people will be shocked and people will call me qabiliste people will say qabilista waaye duqa xaajiga xaw xumaanta noogu suubinaya , in Somaliland this is not the case people embraced Qabil for what it is and they can contain it its part of the traditional culture of Somaliland. -

Faroole is in deep trouble but he can survive if he plays it well he can extend his term but he has bad advisers his sons i think there is no great opposition against him other than gagaab and some other crazy reer bari guys. Oba SL is not facing any troubles where do you get that from SL presidential elections are in June 2015 Siilaanyo will stay in office there are some segments in SL not happy how the elections went but that will be solved. The opposition of SL Ucid and Wadani and they are not making any noise so far but that will come in the next coming years. -
Somaliland: Resumption of Dialogue with Somali Talks Anticipated Wednesday, 19 December 2012 03:35 VP Sayli L with his boss President Silanyo at Egal Airport where service commanders gave their commander in chief a welcome home salute of honourBy: Yusuf M Hasan HARGEISA (Somalilandsun) – The presidents of Somaliland and Somalia have met for the first in Djibouti where impromptu discussions were held. The president H.E Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo is back in the country after a two days visit to Djibouti where he participated in activities commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Somali-speaking Pen organization The head of state was received at the Egal international airport in Hargeisa by his deputy Hon Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail 'Sayli' and multitude of citizens who included ministers, Members of both houses of parliament, Traditional and Religious leaders as well as senior officials of the ruling Kulmiye party After a colourful guard of honour mounted by units of the national army, the head of state who briefed members of the press at the airports' VIP lounge termed the ongoing Somali-Speaking Pen-SSP conference as a very important event for the development of the Somali language both oral and written. President Silanyo briefs media at the airports VIP loungeWhile informing of the significance of the SSP conference where dignitaries from Somali speaking areas and Somali language experts converged to chart the way forward for the local script, Dr Silanyo revealed of his impromptu meeting with the new president of neighbouring Somalia Mr Hasan Sheikh Mahmud. "In the course of conference participation a meeting with President Hasan who was also present became inevitable" Said the head of state After exchanging pleasantries, we briefly discussed suspended talks between our two countries of whose importance we both acquiesced on without fixing dates but in accord and hopes that once resumed the shall be concluded to the satisfaction of the citizens of our two neighbouring countries, further informed the president. The President who addressed the SSP conference together with others like Presidents Ismail Omar Guelleh and Hasan Sh Mahmud of Djibouti and Somalia respectively was at the conference together with a high powered delegation on official invitation from the Djiboutian head of state. Those in the president's entourage included the 1st lady Ms Amina Weris, Dr Mohamed A Omar, Ms Zamzam Aden and Mr Ali Elmi Gelle the foreign, Education and Communication ministers respectively. On the alleged doctoring of local council election results by some unsuccessful Army Units mount a guard of honour for President Silanyopolitical groups the president said fingers should not point at the government nor the ruling Kulmiye party because neither was involved. While urging those alleging to have been cheated during the elections to pursue proper channels of communicating their grievances the head of state said those aggrieved should direct their grievances towards the National Election Commission is the body mandated with the management of elections. Reminding that there is always a winner and loser at competitions of every sort the head of state advised the unsuccessful political groups that purport the ballot was doctored to the advantage of some, to seek legal channels of redress rather than engaging in acts that might impinge on the wellbeing of the country if unchecked. Following the release of election results for the Hargeisa municipality on 6th December supporters of the Haqsoor political group who accused NEC of doctoring the results in favour of the ruling party went on the rampage that concluded with the death of three people and injury to several others including riot police officers.
