  1. Xiinfaniin told us there would be a major triumph in the make up of jubbaland after the Kenya conference nothing at all look at this. Again Xiins predictions made no sense at all Masuuliyiinta maamulka oo dib Kismaayo ugu soo laabtay Qeeybo ka mid ah masuuliyiinta maamulka Kismaayo oo Nairobi maalmo ka hor gaaray ayaa maanta dib ugu soo laabtay Kismaayo. Nairobi ayaa waxaa ka dhacay shir ay isugu yimaadeen maamulka Kismaayo, masuuliyiin horey ugu sugnaa Nairobi, Igad iyo heeyado caalami ah oo Soomaaliya daneeya. Masuuliyiinta maanta magaalada ku soo laabatay ayaa la filayaa in ay warbaahinta la hadlaan si ay uga war bixiyaan wixii u soo qabsoomay. Warar hordhac ah ayaa sheegaya in shirkaa lagu qaadaa dhigay qorshooyin ay ka mid yihiin qorshooyin ciidan oo mar dhaw la filayo in la dardar galiyo.
  2. ^^ What are you talking about , the Kooonfurians can have it all as long as long as SL is Separate, the people of Somaliland are happy and so are its leaders with this fantastic decision. You can take all the aid you guys are addicted on. But Somaliland will not be attending the conference. As for Puntland and the rest for Somalia thats Something the Koonfurians have to solve them selves. The conference its self is just about Somalia probably about Somalia's improvements piracy shabab security and what not, it doesn't concern Somaliland. The only hot topic that concerns Somaliland is the Somalia and Somaliland talks and Somaliland will attend that and will also try to organize a conference in a foreign country along with Somalia, to talk to Somalia.
  3. Not true that conference was organized by the British goverment and they chaired it remember how the Somalia media went crazy they thought Somalia would be put under a UN trustee ship. The previous conference and the upcoming conference there was a huge difference remember how David had a nice breakfast with all the Somali faction leaders except the Somaliland President and government. The upcoming conference will be organized by Somalia and the united kingdom and they will jointly chair it.Somaliland is right not to attend the conference we applaud the Somaliland goverment for doing that.
  4. Man what are you talking about the war between the Somalilanders and General siad bare loyalists ended long time ago no need to bring that up we were just talking about the numbers of raskambooni in Kismayo thats all no need to bring up past conflicts.

It's Godfather part 2, all debts are to be paid it doesn't shock me but they are not 3000 or more its not a correct number. Those who were the former allies of general Siad bare were defeated, do not act like you came to Somaliland with toy guns.
  6. Xiinfaniin na wuxu isku haysta ninka ugu xogogaalsan:D bal weynu eegi waxa shirka Kenya ka so baxa,, anigu waan ku sheegey shirkaas wax micne samayneyse kama so baxayaan.
  7. We lost entire districts of negelle moyalle guradamole filtu districts, to protect the land oday is right the numbers must rise in the region and there should be awareness about this issue. Haatu the Somali kilil admin and the Oromo kilil admin haven't agreed at all. Ileey and co tried several times to solve this. But the TPLF refused to solve this matter and want the status quo some how. The ONLF map is different but they to have not raised this issue unfortunately.
  8. Look at the difference The actual Somali galbeed map
  9. Haatu the people who say oromos are welcome are the people who want to destroy the Somali identity in Somali galbeed. they are the number one enemy of Somali galbeed people. The system the EPRDF introduced was good ethno nationalism the oromos in oromia the Amharas in the amhara kilil the tigrayans in the tigray kilil. The Somalis in Somali kilil the only problem we have is the oromos who want to behave like intruders and that needs to be stopped.

If this refusal holds, and does not get reversed as happened before due to diplomatic pressure, Siilaanyo will lose a lot of political leverage. Saying no is always the last resort. The leverage Siilaanyo has is Somaliland street (and by Somaliland I mean the three Mother clans). It is a credible threat to say the street will not support me if I get on certain political programs (unity with Somalia and like). It is totally another ball game when I actually refuse and say no, in essence fortifying the effort of other countries to mitigate the situation ... Saying 'NO' is a failure What you are forgetting is that Siilaanyo isn't saying no to talks with Somalia he welcomes that , he just says no to attending a conference for Somalia , which will not be beneficial for Somaliland. In addition president siilaanyo and his government are very flexible to hold talks with Somalia as long as they jointly organize the meeting in a foreign country. As for Somaliland and the people of Somaliland are united in this, the opposition parties the guurti elders and the religious leaders and the goverment including the diaspora. I think it was a very wise decision.

And because it was an international conference hosted by Britain chaired by Britain. This conference is different this one is a conference both Somalia and the UK jointly chair, so all in all Somaliland will lose nothing. The international community will continue to deal with Somaliland as a defacto state. And its separate process talks between Somaliland and Somalia will continue till a final settlement is reached when talking about Somaliland and Somalia's future relations. By the way European countries sill have no diplomatic relations with Mogadishu as they still haven't opened their embassies in Mogadishu. No one wants war for Somalia , why do koonfurians always think Somalilanders want war for Somalia, do you know how many refugees come to Somaliland because of the wars in Somalia. Somalilanders just want peace in the horn and want good relations with Mogadishu and Somalia, as brotherly nations side by side. No need for war , dagaal faiido ma leh.
  12. ^^ There is no point for that since the Amisom is there as peace keeping forces no group can fully control the city as long as Amisom is there.
  13. Apophis just because Amiir Godane is an Ethnic Somalilander that doesn't mean we pay his bills no proof for that just false allegations. The raskmanbooni are there and have the most Somali Soldiers there, more than the so called SNA.But they are not close to 3000 man
  14. *ANWAR*;927018 wrote: LOOOOL waar President hassan as Nothing to lose While Siilaanyo has everything to lose.. at present all the power lies in Mogadishu, Siilaanyo is shortsighted man What has Silanyo to lose? How will a conference in london about Somalia benefit Somaliland, you should look it from a Somaliland perspective not from a Somalia perspective. Ofcourse Hassan has nothing to lose its a conference for his country and he and the PM of the UK will co chair it. But whats it in for Somaliland?
  15. Madaxweynaha Somaliland oo sheegay inaysan ka qaybgalayn shirka London ee looga Hadlayo Arrimaha Soomaaliya Jimco, Maarso 15, 2013 (HOL) — Madaxweynaha Somaliland, Axmed Maxamed Maxamuud (Siilaanyo) oo dib ugu soo laabtay Hargeysa kaddib shan maalmood oo uu safar ugu maqnaa waddanka Turkiga ayaa sheegay in Somaliland aysan ka qaybgalay shirka London. Axmed Siilaayo ayaa sheegay in shirkaas uu yahay mid Soomaaliya loo qabanayo iyagana uusan quseyn, sidaa daraadeedna ay dowladda Britain u sheegeen inaysan shirkaas ka qaygbalayn. “Shirka London waa mid loo qabanayo Soomaaliya, inaguna kama qaybgeli doonno, waayo ma ahan mid na khuseeya,” ayuu Siilaayo wariyeyaasha ugu sheegay garoonka diyaaradaha ee magaalada Hargeysa. Isagoo hadalkiisa sii wata ayaa wuxuu sheegay in wadahadallada u dhexeeya dowladda Soomaaliya iyo Somaliland ay muddo soo socdeen, balse aysan hadda socon, isagoo xusay in dib loo furo ayaana ka hadli doonnaa. Magaalada London ee dalka Britain ayaa lagu wadaa in horraanta bisha May ee soo socota lagu qaban doono shir looga hadlayo arrimaha Soomaaliya, kaasoo lagu casuumay maamulka Somaliland, waxaana shirkaas lagu waday inay isku arkaan wufuudda dowladda Soomaaliya iyo Somaliland si ay uga hadlaan sii socoshada wadahadalladii sannadkii hore u billowday.
  16. No way raskmambooni is near 3000 troops come back to mother earth Apophis if it wasn't for the Kenyans we all know what would happen
  17. I doubt it the gedo troops are already in Kismayo they are being kept in one part of the city where the Amisom kenyans are. And the conference in kismayo was cancelled altogether. Not sure how legitimate the conference in Kenya will be in the context of building a state for Somalia's jubba region.
  18. I think its the correct decision because the Conference will be co chaired by President hassan and David Cameron of the UK, and its a conference entirely discussing the issues problems of Somalia, which doesn't include Somaliland. Even if a mini meeting between Somaliland and Somalia was planned it will not be productive. Somaliland and Somalia should discuss their future relations not in conference like that but in a separate conference they jointly organized.
  19. Somaliland President Ahmed Siilaanyo made it clear that they wont attend the London conference, and that the Somaliland and Somalia talks are a separate process, and that these talks will continue i think this is a very good decision made by the Somaliland goverment well said President.

  22. Somaliland: Police Force Enhances Rapid Reaction Capabilities Thursday, 14 March 2013 16:54 VP Sayli © flanked by from right Minister Osman Minister Duur and Gen Fadal at the RRU graduationBy: Yusuf M Hasan MANDERA (Somalilandsun) - The police force has strengthened its capabilities for a fast reaction to diverse eventualities following the graduation of 100 officers at the Mandera police academy. At a ceremony officiated by the Vice president Hon Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail 'Sayli' at the Mandera Police Academy the 100 graduating officers were officially inducted into the Rapid Reaction Unit-RRU , which is a year old police unit British crack unit with specialized anti-terrorist skills British trained crack unit with specialized anti-terrorist skills conducted under funding from t and by officers from the United Kingdom The incoming officers join their now hardened colleagues at RRU which was launched in March of 2012 to not only conduct the main duty of counter-terrorism activities but provide police departments nationwide with extra muscle whenever the need arises. While mounting their most important guard of honour at their graduating ceremony the 100 officers who were recruited for the specialized training from various police units' proffered gratitude for the opportunity to receive specialized training and subsequent deployment to the crack and prestigious RRU which they promised to service with dedication and distinction. Those thanked were local and British instructors as well as the VP and his entourage that included the minister of interior Mohamed Duur Arale, State minister of Finance Osman Abdilahi Adani and Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Abdilahi Fadal Iman. representing his boss on official visit to Turkey Dr Ahmed M Silanyo, VP Sayli who thanked the UK government for making the unit a reality not only through funding but specialized expertise as well also informed of pride the nation holds the police academy and its continued stream of a trained cadre of law enforcement officers. While congratulating the graduate's Interior minister Duur Arale who cautioned rumormongers terming the RRU as government tool for public subjugation said the unit was created after it became apparent that counter-terrorism and rapid reaction and deployment skills were lacking within the police force. Revealing that the interior ministry plans to continue training more officers for the unit as well as existing ones Hon Duur Arale also thanked the UN for its Rule of Law & security-ROLS programe that has benefitted the police force and Judiciary over the years. According to Brig General Fadal Iman the 100 officers who were recruited from various units of the police nationwide who successfully completed a three months specialized anti-terrorism training as well extra lessons like bomb disposal, fire-fighting, first aid thus the only unit to possess these hitherto unavailable skills within the country's security forces. As he officially inducted the 100officers to the RRU the police commissioner revealed that the crack British trained unit which will continue operate under the command of the Special Protection Unit-SPU has sufficient logistics to deploy and deal with any adverse eventualities in all corners of the country. The SPU that provides protection to expatriates and other foreign dignitaries during official functions in Somaliland is an elite unit wholly funded by the UN following the spate of brutal murders perpetrated against expatriates by Al-Shabaab in 2003 and 2004 that saw a Annalisa Tonnelli killed in Borama, a British couple SOS school Sheikh and a Kenya development worker in Darburuq area. The police training college which has become a beehive of activity graduated its 26th batch of recruits solely composed of Female officers numbering 150 who are to serve in various stations of the country early this month.
