I thought Oday was from the gedo community , but he talked about Puntland several times when we were discussing so he might be a pirate , i am convinced he is not from the HAG community. The HAGs are mostly neutral on Somaliland nor hostile towards Somaliland, thats why always assumed he was from the gedo community.

Zimbabwe votes in a referendum on new Constitution Voting was underway in Zimbabwe on Saturday in a referendum on a new Constitution — a crucial milestone in the political development of the crisis-weary African country. The new Constitution grants more power to Parliament and offers additional rights to women but would not hinder President Robert Mugabe, 89, from running for high office again. He has been at the helm of Zimbabwe since its independence in 1980. With both Mr. Mugabe’s Zanu-PF party and arch rival Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) having thrown their weight behind the draft document, the referendum is expected to easily pass. Some non-governmental groups charge that the document does not go far enough in supporting civil liberties and say that the impunity of the security forces has yet to be addressed. However, they failed to garner resources to launch a “no” campaign. The Constitution will pave the way for Presidential and General Elections later this year, which will likely end the coalition between Zanu-PF and two MDC factions in place since 2009. The coalition was formed under pressure from regional powers following violent elections in 2008, with much of the abuse targeting the MDC. The 9,456 polling stations across the country will be open from 7 a.m. (0500 GMT) until 7 p.m. Provisional results are expected on Sunday and the final results later in the week. Voter turnout in the southern African nation of 12 million is not expected to be high, owing to political apathy and an expectation that the referendum will pass.

Somalia;927342 wrote: This is a devastating blow to the legitimacy of Somaliland's secession ambitions, will they lock him up like King of Somaliland Buurmadow? I do not think so! How so he attended the conference organized In djibouti in 2000, him and garaad abshir together went to that conference and said they wanted a share of Somalia. But i doubt this news is true , cigaal locked him up for a year , rayaale locked him up for a few months. Ina dhabeyee is not considered a man of weight as how his ancestors were once the leaders of Somaliland.

I doubt this story is true because non of the Somaliland websites are mentioning it , and even if it was it would not change anything do you know how many times this guy spend in prison because he took part of the carta conference back in 2000. No one takes ina dhabeye serious when it comes to politics, he is not like his grandfather oo talo goyn jiray.

Somalia is not like Djibouti Ethiopia south Africa and Kenya Rwanda South Sudan there is a clear political distinction Somalia in her constitution claims that Somaliland is part of her sovereignty as long as thats the case. No goverment official of Somalia can visit Somaliland. But if the 2 countries restored relations than there would not be a problem. We should wait for the next phase of talks between Somaliland and Somalia and what comes out of that. -

He was not on transit he was flying with star african air which has direct flies from berbera to Mogadishu from dubai, it takes like an hour to wait in the plane before it takes of from berbera to Xamar. The man deliberately got off the plane and sat at Berbera airport, he is not a citizen of Somaliland nor a normal citizen of Somalia or any other country. But a official from Somalia he should know better. -
Abdi cawar failed as a politician failed as a leader failed in Puntland now he is like a gypsy traveling in qurbaha with single mothers attending his welcomings parties. What a failure just dont get why some would dedicate a song to cabdi cawar. It just doesn't add up , cabdi cawar should just go back to the states and try a new hobby.

Xabashi Music is oke but there are some folklore dances and some good tunes with the xabashi music by the way let people like these Music , the xabashis love Somali tunes to. We should not inject politics into it because we wont agree on that but we can maybe agree on Music

And people ask what is wrong with Somalia, soldiers just shoot random people thinking they are shabaab
