  1. ^^ Somaliland the country which gained independence on the eve of 26 June 1960.
  2. A khadar qoliyihi Koonfurianska waydinka arkaya dad ku og mahe eh , manay haboonayn inad iska so hoyataan. Halkan baad ka heleysan qeyb weyn cakega la qeybinayo.
  3. Haatu;941335 wrote: Xaaji your clan wey gadoodsan yihiin and want nothing to do with the rest of the Somalis. The Xamar clan doesn't want to share a country and have a deep sense of entitlement. Tolka wants federalism as a safeguard and to get back its lawful wealth but Xaad's clan doesn't want any of that. The only solution is in la kala taga. You waqooyians can have your S/land minus SSC, tolka aayaheeda ha ka tashato and Xamar can do whatever they want on their own. Ma been baa la isku sheegi? Nope wrong the Somalilanders want everything to do with the rest of Somalis they want fantastic relations with reer nfd reer kilinka shanaad and reer djibouti they only have some problems with the koonfurians. The rest of the Somalis are fine, about ssc these regions are very multi tribal you cannot just divide and judge those region to one clan. Certainly SL has legal and historic rights to it and ofcourse a large base there whether than they to join Puntland i doubt it. But for the Mogadishaawis i doubt they would support that galkacyo be in 2 different republics and their smaller kin to be dominated by another clan in jubbaland region who than become their own republic. Than the rest particularly haatu and zack and the pirates it will be very hard to unite as tribe under one country since the HAG and bay and bakool communities live in between those tribes. Haatu this is the map tribal map of the former Somali republic now would you divide it because many regions are mixed just look at the south.
  4. Currently, the Khaatumo project finds itself in difficult circumstances. On the one hand, they need a solid, positive relationship with the FG in Mogadishu to politically pressure SL, yet on the other hand, certain 'cousins' are pressuring the Khaatumo 'party' to support the Jubba project in clan-solidarity, a move certain to alienate the Mogadishu-based FG Exactly ali khalif galaydh the last few months was campaigning for the constitutional rights for the jubbaland project. Now he finds him self in a very harsh situation the Mogadishu government cannot really take him serious. Well some with in Khatumo those in taleex, refrain themselves from addressing the Jubbaland project ali khalif went even further and insinuated that Saacid farax was a puppet calling him the shadow of hasan sheikh maxamuud. So not just the Mogadishu folks but he also politically clashed with the gedo leaders.
  5. ^^ Haday kala tagaan yaa u ga badhi xun its not good such a small nation oo sii kala firxada wa awood wiiqantay uun, waxay u bahanyihin solutions ay ku bad badan dhibaatada haysata Somalia waxa weye ki shalay wax laayey aya amaanta victim ah ki maanta victimka ah aya beritoole agressorki noqonaya. wa cycle aan dhamanayn. Is aaminadi la so celiya hada ta la rabo wa in horta kan daahir calasow websitkisa la xidha.
  6. Osman seems to be very worried no more airport parties and wrapping the Somali flag around your waist and shaking it, and claiming to be the indisputable Somali nationalist. Seems like hasssan culusow and the elites in Mogadishu could care less about Osman and his many flags.

For a u sure love the kacaan government At least Duke would've fiercely opposed what the kacaan goverment did to Somalia and Somaliland Or Somalia maybe you were never on the side of cabdilahi Yusuf and you were on the side of afweyne
  9. ^^ And who are you to talk and speak for the people of awdal sool and sanaag, surely pirates are not the representatives of those constituencies in Somaliland. Its sad to see that the pirates try to speak for Khatumo when they called them terrorists several occasions what a hypocrisy. The thing is there is no federalism in Somalia at the moment and hassan sheikh maxamuud knows this and he doesn't want to establish the Swiss form of federalism but he is willing to establish first a strong entity from galkacyo to the Kenyan border and from there. Create sub regional governmental institutions up to federal states but mixed states he doesn't want clan identities to be empowered in Somalia. Hence his opposition to Jubbaland conference. Ximan iyo xeeb aswj and galmudug directly fall under the supervision of the central government. Its just Puntland which is autonomous. So there is no federalism in Somalia as you want it at the moment the HAG houses understand this.
  10. Xiinfaniin dad ilkaha laga daadiyey baad leedahay cid ba wax weydinaysa ma iyaga ba dhawaaq afkooda ka so bixi kara, nagada hadaba
  11. Does Xiinfaniin really think Koonfurians have a say about Somalilands future this is just wishful thinking Mintid spot on there are always certain people from particular corners trying to create a friction between the 2 sides talking. This is no longer the case even the elders of Mogadishu today i quote them said the following. “Waxaan aaminsanahay in uu dhamaaday wakhtigii labada shacab loo kala sheekayn jiray inuu wacyigii haatan isbedelay oo dadkii bisladeen maanta dadku ay yihiin shacab aan been lookala sheegi Karin ama aan is aqoon meesha way ka baxday wadahadalkaa maanta bilaabmayna waxa uu astaan u yahay dadku xaga siyaasada waxay doonaana hakala aaminsanaadaane, hadana dadku inay yihiin labada shacab oo dadkooduna walaalo ah oo xal ka gaadhi kara waxa bulshadu ay horumar ku gaadhi karto”. ayuu yidhi gudoomiyaha Odayaasha Beelaha Mogadishu

  13. So far its only cali khalif galaydh making noise and saying the ankara agreement was in favor of SL. Its seems the rest of those who are traditionally opposed to SL are fine with the situation those in Jubbaland and the one in Garowe. And are more concerned about the Jubbaland state formation.
  14. Still, the question is what is more important for Hassan Sheikh and his opponents; winning the "internal" struggle or stopping SL This is a very important question i want xiins spin on this
  15. ^^ They are not blamed for the attack they are harboring criminals
  16. Somalia;941211 wrote: Xaaji "Nothing to worry about" You funny, as IF there would be something to worry about. Somalia is a federated parliamentary republic, any decision the president makes such as a referendum, would ultimately have to be altered, framed and passed by the parliament. You make it sound like there's this plan where Xasan Sheikh is about to recognize your enclave. You living with the fairies, mate. The man isn't about to be known as the man who divided a country, that would be a heinous crime I say. As for Jubbaland, its existence would seal the fate of the parliament, that is why it is worrisome for secessionists, even their MPs, in fact they met in Mogadishu concerning the subject. I never said that, i said There is a good process under way for SL and Somalia to have good relations in the future. what Somalia does on their turn is up to them from a Somaliland perspective Somaliland welcomed the talks the international community called for. The Parliament it self it has ethnic Somalilanders in the so called parliament of yours and ethnic djiboutians and others in Southern Somalia. its not like the Pirates have the majority in the parliament. Jubbaland will not be recognized by the goverment in xamar so they have no legitimacy as a federal state under Somalia. There is nothing really to worry about everything seems to go well for now.
  17. ^^ Jubbaland has no effect on Somaliland , the jubbaland resistance is coming from Mogadishu and HAG elements in Jubbaland, and the goverment of Somalia hassan sheikh and mr saacid farax. You will never hear Somaliland politicians talking about Kismayo, its not important for them. There is no HAG and SNM conspiracy there is just some talks beween Somalia and Somaliland regarding their future relationship nothing to worry about. Talk To xiin he believes everything is under control. Khatumo is also opposed by the garowe clan enclave remember how biindhe was refused to use galkacyo airports and was forced to go to caabuudwaaq.

  21. How can HAG be played when they have the Presidency and Capital on lock, they cant be played they have it all under control:D
  22. Tallaabo;941177 wrote: Anyone who thinks Siyaad Barre (the man who signed away the entire Somali galbeed) was a defender of Somali unity should not be taken seriously It was either SNM taking over the Somali republic, or lose Somali galbeed , General siyad bare choose the latter and tried to save his seat and he threw Somaligalbeed under the bus. And focused on SNM he miscalculated , 2 years later he was forcefully removed. He did not just lose the Somali galbeed he lost his seat and Somaliland broke away.
  23. ^^ Fair point still , but Somaliland and Somalia have still not agreed of what their future relations will be so it will be very hard. Eritrea has colonial boundaries to although it has been violated by Ethiopia . South sudan is a whole new creation but still its still in conflict , in Africa things will always be different than Europe. The Europeans are advanced and they are people who look things from another perspective and mutual interests Africans are not like that. I doubt Somalia and Somaliland maybe they can agree for a few years to live side by side. but it relations can turn sour after a while.
