it has potential and it can be a vibrant city again, but i doubt it will be one of the greatest capital cities any time soon. Ofcourse its good to optimistic the city needs lots of investment. I believe in the next 5 years if the peace continues it can get some of its glory back.

Recognition will not change anything its not about how the world views him its about how those people sl and more important the sl govt views him and the sl constitution. So there for he is a foreigner, he can consider him self a citizen in his mind or what ever. But in reality facts on the ground he is not. He will pay an extra fee if he comes to SL , while citizens of SL do not pay that. STOIC use the right term Somaliland case is not that of secession since Somaliland was never part of Somalia. What will khatumo add to Somaliland Taleex village, they can stay in taleex for as long as they want , them joining SL or staying away from SL will not change much on the ground. Although they are very welcome to come home to their capital. But if they prefer to stay a bit longer in taleex than that is fine to. Their attempt to stay with Somalia has became futile under political H- artism they failed. They are all over the place Ali sabaray is now in Kismayo talking about Jubbaland and what not. Khatumo has not the means to enforce their will ,people do not even know what their final objective is Because under Somalia they can never be a federal state. How can 2 districts become their own federal state under Somalia. Sexual violence against woman is really an issue of concern , the problem lies most of the time with in the society aslong as people act as if it doesn't happen it wont be solved. And because we are an Islamic society the girls who were the victims most of the time are ashamed to say they were sexually abused those woman deserve justice and ofcourse the taboo needs to be broken and religious leaders and the Somaliland government must say no to rape and really come forward with a concrete plan how to protect these woman.
