No need to win hearts and minds what will that do for Somaliland whether they support it or not remains always irrelevant in the eyes of the people of Somaliland. They are Koonfurians and their opinion does not matter they are not even the boss in their own homes. There is no nation to begin with apophis and his clan feel they are closer to Nairobi than they are to Mogadishu. The Folks in Mogadishu say this every day ,Somalia is already dismembered u just dont want to see it

  5. And how are they going to find 2/3 of the Parliament trust me the constitution it self is being reviewed,Somalis are not people of Constitution. The TFG charter had the same but it never had any effect.
  6. Yeah he was selected by a unelected body nevertheless i doubt they can form a threat to him in the Parliament, this only happens sometimes with the pm.
  7. ^ Thats a good point they can use it against him the secular extremist but than again they are turks to but people try to use all kind of tools to stop erdogan so they can use. But the question is will that happen.
  8. It doesn't really matter whether they have support or not these leaders were not elected by the people, aslong as the goverment has the mandate and the the African union troops they have nothing to worry.
  9. I doubt his is real significant there is no stepping down these MPS were not elected by the people so who cares. Hassan will finish his term and so will saacid farax. Perhaps he might even get a second term aslong as his qatari buddies support him.
  10. i agree with cadnaan its worth it Somalia is Turkey's target for neoottomanism , they will not leave because of some security problems. What they will gain is much more important.
  11. Need to withdraw their support from the SFG how is it possible that 2 Militia who are both on the same side are fighting each other communities of the Habr gangster clan attacked the water malians, who also wore SFG military uniform. This is unacceptable i wonder how a federal state can be established, if people do not even agree who owns what land? What can the government do actually about this the best thing if the goverment wants to be taken serious Amisom African union troops need to be stationed there and keep the peace.
  12. Cambuulo they need to removed from the military, the security forces need to be filtered , or else u will always have spies with in. The government knows this but the problem is they are scared if they cut them loose. They might join shabaab again, but keep in mind they are no use to the goverment either.
  13. Furthermore its impossible for a group such as alshabaab to not have a secret cell in Mogadishu it would be impossible for them to carry out attacks in Mogadishu. The question we should ask our self is does the intelligence service know about this or are they ignoring this fact?
  14. The brotherhood is gone for good i think they got the chance to lead they screwed up big time, and started alienating other communities. They can create disharmony by fighting but they cannot defeat the army , maybe they will continue to protests and protest.Which will never allow a smooth transition. Lets see what happens in the next coming weeks.

  16. Not to liberal but i have some democratic values aslong as it doesn't go against my islamic principles , and i am very tolerant to. But the Politicians of Somalia, they believe if one invests in another part of the world , that means he is against their community or clan. Which means he is a terrorist or a terrorist financier lol.
  17. At least 120 Morsi supporters reported killed in Egypt clashes Turmoil deepens as security forces shoot scores of Muslim Brotherhood supporters at sit-in in east Cairo guardian.co.uk, Saturday 27 July 2013 17.29 BST Link to video: Egypt: '100 Muslim Brotherhood members killed' in Cairo At least 120 supporters of Egypt's ousted president, Mohamed Morsi, have been shot dead by security officials in what is the worst state-led massacre in the country since the fall of Hosni Mubarak, according to figures released by Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood. Earlier reports on Saturday said the death toll had exceeded 136. The Egyptian health ministry said that it had counted 38 dead – though its figures are only based on bodies delivered to state institutions. The massacre took place in the small hours of Saturday morning, at a sit-in at Rabaa al-Adawiya, east Cairo, where tens of thousands of pro-Morsi supporters have camped since Morsi was deposed on 3 July. Brotherhood spokesman Gehad El-Haddad said the shooting started shortly before pre-dawn morning prayers on the fringes of a round-the-clock vigil being staged by backers of Morsi, who was toppled by the army more than three weeks ago. "They are not shooting to wound, they are shooting to kill," Haddad said, adding that the death toll might be much higher. Al Jazeera's Egypt television station reported that 120 had been killed and some 4,500 injured in the early morning violence near Cairo's Rabaa al-Adawia mosque. Reporters at the scene said firing could still be heard hours after the troubles started. "I have been trying to make the youth withdraw for five hours. I can't. They are saying they have paid with their blood and they do not want to retreat," said Saad el-Hosseini, a senior Brotherhood politician. "It is a first attempt to clear Rabaa al-Adawia," he said. An injured supporter of Mohamed Morsi is treated at a field hospital. An injured man is treated at a field hospital. Photograph: Ahmed Khaled/EPA There was no immediate comment from state authorities on what had happened. The clashes started after police fired tear gas to disperse hundreds of Morsi supporters who tried to extend the sit-in in eastern Cairo. Al Jazeera showed medics desperately trying to revive casualties arriving at a field hospital set up near the mosque. El-Haddad said police started firing repeated rounds of tear-gas at protesters on a road close to the mosque sometime after 3am local time (2am BST). Shortly afterwards, live rounds started flying, hitting people at close range. The deaths come just two weeks after military and police officers massacred 51 Morsi supporters at a nearby protest in east Cairo. They also happened less than 24 hours after hundreds of thousands of anti-Morsi protesters gathered in Egyptian streets to give General Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, the army chief who ousted Morsi, their assent to crackdown on what he had on Wednesday called "terrorism". Sceptics say this is a euphemism for a violent campaign on largely peaceful Morsi supporters, who have held sit-ins and marches across several Egyptian cities since Morsi was overthrown – including at Rabaa al-Adawiya. For weeks, most Egyptian media have depicted pro-Morsi supporters as terrorists. "It doesn't make sense for a defence minister to ask people to give him authority to fight terrorism," said Abdallah Hatem, a 19-year-old student from Cairo, on Friday. "So his speech was a pretext for something else – a pretext to fight peaceful protesters who want Morsi to come back."
  18. ^^ They were trying to advance very fast Menelik would reach the interior of Somaliland if it wasn't for the Brits, there was nothing that was stopping him he had a force close 120.000 troops with more than 90.000 rifles purchased from the Russians. Imagine if our grandfathers never made a treaty with the British and Menelik would invade us and he would than sign a treaty with the English on behalf of us. That would be terrible we would be under Bug eyed xabashi today.
  19. ^^ Thats how Koonfurians want to see Somaliweyn, let my tribe eat first or else you are a terrorist:D
  20. But this is exactly how it went, whether one was a victim was irrelevant, there were always divisions no one can deny that telling the truth does not mean propaganda. Maybe there is a bit of generalization but they are only making a generalization on the political elites of Somalia not the actual people. All in all good film they should do another one but than with better quality.
