RRA How Dare You Claim Jubbaland. Is There No Shame?
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Dr_Osman's topic in Politics
D block H block RRA block and people wonder what the hell is wrong with Somalia -
Tallaabo made some good points i concur Scotland has benefited allot from the union do u know education in Scotland is much better than in England. The oil industry will not last long for 300 years the English the scotch and the welsh but their union really worked for the better of all many Scots want to join the EU , but the EU is not enthusiastic about it. As for Somaliland , somalia brought nothing but misery underdevelopment war destruction wars livelihood to be destroyed Italian mafia culture, even the Koonfurians seem to be not getting along for some odd reason. Its like the 2 people live in 2 complete worlds and coexisting is impossible if the koonfurians were more like Somalilanders, willing to compromise for the larger good had good cultural ethics were less violent and anarchists the 2 could have shined together under a genuine strong union. But the way the Koonfurians see a union is we take all u guys have the left overs and lets sing Somalia toosow. Thats why Somalilanders when it comes to politics and governance always take a few steps back when it concerns koonfurians. But the Koonfurians are good folks they have a nice dish have great music are good to interact with, but sharing a nation is practically impossible.

Or u will get 9 votes like professor samatar -
Posted: 10/03/2014 12:52 Read more Scotland's Referendum, Independence, scotland, Somaliland, Somaliland Independence, UK Politics News Let's get this out of the way. Scotland is not an official country and neither is Somaliland. Neither has a seat at the EU or a seat at the AU, respectively, nor do either have a seat at the UN. Their governments pass local laws and govern everything within their borders, but others speak on their behalf (and receive money in their name) on the world stage. Scotland may be referred to as a country, but aside from preferential terminology, it is not recognised as a country. This is where the Scottish struggle for independence comes in. Scotland's call for independence in the last few years is an ideological one, born out of political and economic gains that independence will bring. Somaliland's call for independence since 1991 was born out of necessity, as a last option to the 100,000s of lives lost during the attack of the military regime of the government at the time on Somaliland. They have since had their referendum, agreed to be independent and have been lobbying for international recognition ever since. The first concrete step towards Scotland's Independence was the Edinburgh Agreement between the UK Government and the Scottish Government on having a Referendum in Scotland. Somaliland does not have such an agreement with the Federal Government of Somalia, as there was no-one to negotiate with for the last two decades. The permanent Government of Somalia that has recently been created and is funded, supported, and protected by the international community is not willing to support Somaliland's independence claims and sees them only as a region, and not a country. There have been white papers, Question Time debates on Scottish young voters and independence as well as the independence argument between Scottish MPs, Scottish Parliamentary debates, to make the case for and against Scotland's independence. Somaliland has had very little of this in comparison, but it is long overdue. But the strongest influence on public opinion comes from two age-old instruments, political institutions and the media. In my previous article on ethnic conflict, I highlighted how we use the same tactics on ourselves that the old colonial powers used to use on us. One of those colonial powers was Great Britain and they had perfected their techniques, because they used it on Scotland, Wales, and Ireland over the last few centuries. They were willing to 'give' their colonies independence, but are not as willing to give it to the neighbours they've colonised. And the politicians are using the media to spin their stories. If a country wants to join the EU, they have to submit a membership application, and the European Commission assesses the applicant's ability to meet the Copenhagen criteria, split into the 35 chapters of the 'acquis'. But when you have the President of the European Commission telling the media that Scotland joining the EU is near impossible before they have even submitted an application, you can very quickly see how opposition is building up even outside of the UK. Members of the EU are worried that Scotland's independence will trigger secession calls within other EU member states, which is why Spain has been against allowing Kosovo to join the EU, as it would face further pressure from within their own borders. As the only major country in Western Europe refusing to recognise Kosovo, Spain has made clear that recognising their independence would cause implications regarding its own issues with independence movements in the Basque Country, Galicia and Catalonia. Somaliland is facing a similar issue with the African Union and the UN. Kofi Annan reported to the General Assembly in 2000 that "'Somaliland', in particular, remain[ed] firmly outside the peace process." The UN (driven by US policy) is concerned that recognising the independence of Somaliland will further destabilise South-Central Somalia, and does not want to destabilise the relations they have with their allies in the regions, such as Ethiopia. The African Union is also apprehensive, considering the possibility that allowing the secession of Somaliland will trigger more calls of secession with the other African countries. They are quite keen to keep the borders that were drawn up by their colonisers and the previous colonial powers support them in that decision. It's a mind-set that desperately needs changing. Despite the AU fact-finding report in 2005, the African Union still has not had a complete debate on possibility of recognising Somaliland. And the rest of the world will not recognise Somaliland if the AU is unwilling to. But the biggest obstacle to the independence of Scotland and Somaliland are the administrations they are trying to separate from. England believes in 'Great Britain' which includes Scotland; and Somalia believes in 'Greater Somalia' which includes Somaliland. The ideology behind this is dressed up as an economically, politically and socially driven policy where the Nation is stronger together. But the truth is, nobody wants to give up control of a region within their current borders, as this may strengthen the new independent region, but would weaken the country they have separated from. It's about survival. Perhaps both countries should be independent, perhaps they shouldn't. The arguments on both sides are very convincing for Scotland and Somaliland. But what should definitely happen is that an open debate should be held that considers this from all perspectives and that everyone remains true to the strongest pillar of democracy, the pillar that protects the right of self-determination of any people. You want Scotland or Somaliland to vote for or against independence? Then organise the debate to happen openly and fairly, and convince the citizens why your case is in their best interest, and allow the citizens to choose for themselves. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/awoowe-hamza/scottish-independence-backlash_b_4929480.html

People can make threats behind their African union troops saviors but i believe Godane is not scared off the African union troops. With out close to 30.000 African troops Alshabaab still manages to move logistics carry out attacks hold territory and build cells in Kenya. Godane still says the same yuuqatiluna fi sabililah. I doubt u can hang him if you were to hang an shabaab member you would have hanged Daahir aweys.

Mayor Maangaab Attacks Sahal and SNM.Tribal Scum
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Dr_Osman's topic in Politics
Detoore where do u find these kind of videos LOL -
ofcourse it transformes Somalis are not fighting over camels like in the 18 century but are fighting for other scare resources and tribal homeland. The state and citizenship means little because Somalis do not grasp real statehood that every one is equal to the law and all of that.Somalis love the law of the jungle and he who gets the throne will try to enrich his clan using the state resources to subdue others his opponents , so equality to the state can never exist as people want unless Somalis all change as people and change their behavior which i doubt they can.
-
People are missing the point here with out a clan how can u be a Somali , Somalis are a patrinial society with out a clan you cant be a Somali. Being Somali is belonging to a tribe a sub clan and a sub clan and than hail from a village. For example ninkaasi wa reer hebel wuxu ka yahay reer hebel wuxu ka soo jeeda tuula hebel its an identification. If you say i am a Somali what does that mean?. You cant remove clan identities from Somalis its deeply rooted its most of the time much stronger than the nationality , since Somalis say nationality Somalia and Djibouti and Somaliland nationalism are colonial delineations but our clan and tribal identities predates the nationalism created 100 years ago. in Somalia there is no dominating tribe which is a problem in most countries there are dominating tribe also another problem Somalia is named after its ethnic group. It says Somali but the tribal identity is much and much stronger ,because Somali was never a state for all Somalis , Somalis will identify with their tribe more than anything especially since 1991 and its now interlinked to Politics.

Doctor u said u are from Laascanood no person from laascaanood can ever rule over Mogadishu or over the Koonfurians u have a better chance to run for Somaliland president. Somalia exists 53 years and it never had a president from Somaliland whether from laacanood or hargeisa or burco berbera gabiley Somaliland is for them reer woqoyiga eeh Khaldaaminta eeh no yimi and do not deserve to rule over us. What do you mean by if we allow them do you really think Somaliland is asking Somalia for permission to break away or to be a nation they declared Somaliland independent with out the consent of Somalia. Because Somaliland principally believes its equal to Somalia and a not a region of Somalia Somaliland signed to the Somali republic and not to Somalia. And hence it has the right to withdraw kuwi wax isku darsada have the right inay kala noqdaan thats how it is. -
Somali its self is a dysfunctional ethnic group, Somali is a language and to some extent an ethnic group depends who u speak to, to others its a Country Somalia to others its not. Siyad bare wuxu yidhi qabiil walaa aasayaa maaalintaasay ba so toostay qabyalaadi lol Citizenship makes no sense to Somalis to be part of a country the ownership of part of the Land is far more important, thats why Somali ethno nationalism is always destine to fail.

Somaliland versus Somalia in the Ugandan capital lol
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Somalia rising , so in other words Somalia cant rise with out Somaliland Tallaabo Koonfurians came along way there was a time they only uttered Gobolada woqoyi. Today one misstep their media are banned in SL. Edeb asluub baa loo yeeley. Even their paper government doesn't dare to bad mouth SL even before the 2 countries agreed not to use inflammatory language, That point was actually a major win for SL because Somalilanders never wanted to be associated with the Koonfurians so they wont mention their Somalia. But it stopped the silly way of communicating with the koonfurians. i have to say in the last 14 years the koonfurians are deeply understanding that Somaliland is gone. -

Alshabab loosing ground to SFG and Amisom Force the game ends Here
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to malistar2012's topic in Politics
Alshabaab is losing ground but they are going underground, i believe Alshabaab is more radical and more extreme and more effective that it was few years. The African union troops will chase them away from all the major cities but in time they can never really defeat shabaab who are hiding in the midst of the civilians and the African union troops are not police forces and can never really keep the place secure they can remove shabaab but they can not keep the place secure. it takes allot of intelligence to fill the vacuum to set up proper networks of intelligence in the places removed by Shabaab. -

Somaliland versus Somalia in the Ugandan capital lol
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Stop lying SFG has not removed shabaab from a single village all credit goes to the African union troops , you can live in a fairy tale but Somalia has no defense apparatus the raid on Villa Somalia is our witness. Somalia is broken and dismantled by Somali factions, if Somaliland is so pathetic why do you wish to unite with them loolz, There would not be an SFG with out the African union troops these are the facts on the ground. -

Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Why dont you go to Somalia and fight the xabashis now they are all over the place from gedo to Galguduud to bay and bakool what is stopping you now. You have to build a strong state u cant hope for it and than it becomes Nabigu ducada wuxu yidhi ficil ku dara. Koonfurians are waiting for a miracle. No strong state can ever emerge in Somalia aslong as Somalis are deeply divided the 23 years ongoing civil war in Somalia is our witness. And also Alshabaab cannot be defeated by using half of the African continent.
