Kenya and Somaliland strengthen economic and political ties
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
No mr tallaabo it means that we use their knowledge on agriculture since the Kenyans well advanced in that field. The mira qat already comes to Somaliland but the people prefer the qat from hawaday the harari qat and that is something which is very bad to some extend because it's a drug we don't plant our selves . But we have to work on the irigation of the land once we do that we can built viable agriculture. -
Che the queen is doing very good the Dutch king was there recently Prince harrey is doing very well and Megan to.

Nonsense you should call it yuweri muusafanin to host the Islamic states because there is no government in Somalia to host any sort of conference. Because the situation in the amisom bunker is horrible to say the least. Those koonfurians there is a govt place should think twice. This is nothing but a foto op Because Mogadishu will never have a govt that runs it's affairs surely you would know this the situation hasn't changed since 2007 when the Ethiopian forces under the late Meles zenawi removed the Islamic courts union. This is merely Turkish diplomatic move since the Turks are under fire by maxammad bin salman and Mrtrump in the white house.

agricultural sectors Friday October 26, 2018 Kenya and Somaliland are exploring ways of working together in the education and agricultural sectors to grow their economies. The Horn of Africa nation is also keen to learn from Kenya’s democratic system of governance. Somaliland Foreign Affairs Minister Saad Shire is in the country for a series of meetings with Kenyan leaders as he pushes for stronger diplomatic ties between the two counties. On Thursday morning, Dr Shire met National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale. The two leaders discussed how the Kenyan and Somaliland parliaments can work together. DEMOCRACY “We have so much to learn from Kenya especially on governance and constitutional democracy,” Dr Shire said. Dr Shire called for a meeting between the Kenyan National Assembly Speaker and his Somaliland counterpart. Mr Duale said that Kenya has been working closely with the Somaliland with a view to finding a lasting solution to the conflicts facing the Horn of Africa region. “We are happy with the success stories coming from Somaliland and we hope other regions can learn from you,” Mr Duale told Dr Shire. DIPLOMATIC TIES On Wednesday, Dr Shire met Kenyan Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma. During the meeting, the two discussed ways of strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries. Dr Juma said Kenya would open up a liaison office in Somaliland capital Hargeisa. The two met on Wednesday in Nairobi at a function by United Nations to fete world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge who was named the UN Personality of the Year 2018. During the meeting, Dr Shire invited Kenyan investors to explore the opportunities available in Somaliland. “We have so many openings for Kenyan investors. We also need to look into how we can work with Kenya in the area of education. We already have Kenyans teaching in our primary and secondary schools and in our universities,” said Dr Shire. DIRECT FLIGHTS He added: “We are happy to have an operational embassy in Nairobi with an envoy who is keen on strengthening ties between the two countries. We are inviting Kenya to set up an embassy in Somaliland.” Dr Juma said Kenya remains a friend to Somaliland and will always keenly watch the country’s progress. There have been plans to have direct flights from Nairobi to Hargeisa. The national carrier Kenya Airways has already sent a delegation to do a feasibility study on the Egal International Airport in the Somaliland capital. Over 15,000 Kenyans are living and working in Somaliland in the hospitality and education sectors. Somaliland envoy to Kenya Mr Bashe Omar said improved relations between the two nations would boost their economies. “There is so much Kenya can export to Somaliland especially agricultural products, while they can also import livestock products,” Omar said.

Axmed abiye and his amxara superiors force galla president to resign
Xaaji Xunjuf replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
She was also the former Ethiopian ambassador to Jabuuti in the 1990s it seems Axmed abiye is reaching out to his Abyssinian cousins particularly the amxaras. His deputy is already amxara now the president is also one. But he also is very woman friendly he is playing to the west that woman get an equal part in Ethiopia. Not sure what qeero reaction is to this and maxammad jawar the galla nationalist from caruusa. I think lemme meqershe is on board with these policies of Axmed abiye since they are wollegey gallas in the western part of Ethiopia. Now lets wait what 2019 brings. -
Axmed abiye and his amxara superiors force galla president to resign

Zewde as president Thursday October 25, 2018 Ethiopia’s parliament approved Sahle-Work Zewde as the country’s new president, the first woman to hold the post. Sahle-Work is at present U.N. under secretary general and special representative of the secretary general to the African Union. She replaces Mulatu Teshome Wirtu, who tendered his resignation to parliament earlier on Wednesday. -
Home Wararka Manta Jobs Ethiopia lawmakers to appoint new president: state media Thursday October 25, 2018 Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome stepped down though no official reason has been given for his resignation Ethiopian lawmakers on Thursday will meet to appoint a new president, a largely ceremonial post in the Horn of Africa nation, the state-affiliated Fana Broadcasting Corporate reported. A session involving both houses of parliament is expected to hear and formally accept the resignation of current President Mulatu Teshome who has served in the post for the last five years. No reason has been given for his expected resignation but observers speculate it was the outcome of continued negotiations between the four parties in the ruling coalition, the Ethiopian People Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF). In April the EPRDF appointed Abiy Ahmed the first prime minister from the Oromo ethnic group, the country's largest, who has led a programme of reforms, making peace with former enemy Eritrea and reconciling with various opposition groups. Abiy recently appointed a new cabinet, with half of all posts going to women. Mulatu is the third president of Ethiopia since it formally adopted multiparty politics and a new constitution in 1995. The two former presidents were Negasso Gidada who served from 1995 to 2001 and Girma Wolde-Giorgis who served from 2001 to 2013. Under the Ethiopian constitution the president is given a maximum of a two terms of six years each. Mulatu had one more year left in his first term. Ethiopia follows a parliamentary system that places the majority of powers in the hands of the legislature and prime minister, with the presidency a largely symbolic post. Abiy's reforms included ending two decades of conflict with neighbouring Eritrea, releasing jailed dissidents, welcoming formerly banned groups back into the country and announcing plans to privatise major state-owned industries. He took office after anti-government protests began in late 2015 by Ethiopia's two largest ethnic groups against the heavy-handed rule of the EPRDF.

Maxammad bin salman will survive the same way bibi always has the backing of uncle Sam despite violations of U.N. treaties and humanrights violations in Gaza . This one just is a bit to much what can the Americans actually do other than condemning the United States Is not going to dump Saudi Arabia which is a USA ally for one man. It's just not worth it.

President mujahid abdiraxman tuur vice President mujahid xassan ciise jamac you forgot. Who inherited a destroyed nation. In Somaliland the rayaale presidency after him the people decided. Since 2001 we adopted a new constitution. We had 2 civilian presidents ina cigaal ina rayaale. And 3 SNM presidents mujahid tuur mujahid biixi mujahid siilaanyo.

police 123Shares Saturday October 20, 2018 The United Kingdom has officially addressed reports that it had at a point supported Ethiopia’s notorious paramilitary unit, the Liyu Police. The head of the British Department for International Development, DFID, Christian Rogg met with Somali Regional State, SRS, leader Mustafa Omer earlier this week. The meeting according to the British Embassy in Addis Ababa centered around security reforms whiles Rogg took the opportunity to dispel resurfaced reports that the DFID had back in 2013 funded Liyu police. Omer in August took over as head of the SRS after former head was arrested over rights issues. He has promised to uphold rights and freedoms in the region that has suffered highhanded leadership since 2010. The UK Guardian in January 2013 reported that an internal DFID document had entered a tender to train security forces in the Somali region of Ethiopia, as part of a five-year £13m–15m “peace-building” programme. The statement read as follows: “The British Embassy is aware of some reports circulating on social media referencing reporting from five years ago which speculated on sources of funding for the Somali Regional Special police, commonly known as the Liyu police. “Press reporting in 2013 focused on DFID’s Peace and Development programme. The programme intended to support development and reduce conflict in Somali Regional State. “It helped thousands of children attend primary school and increased access to health services and clean water. It provided legal aid and specialist legal support, particularly for women and children. “Planned support to improve security in the region was not implemented. The UK government has not funded the Liyu police. The Peace and Development Programme ended in 2017.” Who are the Liyu police? Ethiopian authorities created the Liyu (“special” in Amharic) police for the Somali region in 2007, when an armed conflict between the insurgent Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) and the government escalated. By 2008, the Liyu police had become a prominent counterinsurgency force recruited and led by then-regional security chief Abdi Mohammed Omar, known as “Abdi Illey.” Abdi Illey became the president of Somali Regional State in 2010, and the Liyu police continued to report to him till his arrest in August. He is currently facing a legal process instituted by federal government. The Liyu police have frequently been implicated in extrajudicial killings, torture, rape, and violence against people in the Somali region, as well as in retaliatory attacks against local communities. There has also been growing evidence of attacks by the group against communities outside of the Somali region, including in the Oromia region since late December 2016, and in Somalia.
