  3. ^I suppose you are speaking from experience. Imiisa jeer aad is gufeesey eenay waxbaba ku tariin.
  4. Xidigo and North, unless the route between Berbara and Burco was renovated recently, in 2003 that deeqad was burbur, unsafe and unconfortable to drive through. Can't comment about jidka Dila for I have bno idea where that place is. Lakiin Saylac to Hargeisa was not so bad.
  5. Iyo jidka kale ee lagu xogeey o uu dhaxeeyo Barbara iyo Burco.
  6. I think so, lakiin you still get the same misguided individuals passing such prejudice remarks.
  7. Warya SheekJ waad warbadantahay. Djibouti has more to offer than its catchy name. Wa magalo qurux badan with many toolos such as Xarta. Plus no dagaal kama dhaciin.
  8. Not every 9-5 job is boring. Maybe Somali women prefer to work simply because they enjoy what they do, they find their job challenging and exhilarating. It is great to know that you can always achieve more and excel at your targets. The satisfaction from working is not always 100% achieved from solely the financial gains. Why as a woman should I give up or put on hold my ambitions for a mere stranger, especially where there are no guarantees that the relationship would remain strong. We have to realistic, marriage should be based on compromise rather than dictatorship.
  9. People stop the caay! Just because people differ from your belief or way of thinking does not justify your insults! There so called muslims who also indirectly equate other beings to Allah such as praying to their ancestors to ask Allah to grant their duas.
  10. well for starter he looks healthy and happy. I should know for I spent few days in miixi, awr raar and sing with the gelgireey. Brilliant experience.
  11. Hey people living in Stockholm, I am here on a short trip and hoping to go sightseeing barii. Any exciting or most see places that you can advice of.
  12. Dabshid- I really like that photo with the girl and the geel. The land is absolutely beautiful and serene. So quruxley both the girl and the aawr.
  13. Lily walaal although contraceptive methods can mitigate the risk of pregnancy they do not eliminate the threat. Jimcaale, personally I do not find aborting a pregnancy which resulted by rape selfish. We need to consider the effects the decision would have on the woman such as the threats to her health, some depending on the situation and character would contemplate suicide rather than go through with the pregnancy. Socod-badne, once the egg is fertilised whether it resembles a ‘human-like’ or not is beside the point. The likelihood of the foetus developing into a human form is high.
  14. Morally I am against abortion, for terminating a pregnancy at any stage is none lesser than killing a human. Lakiinse, we have to be open minded about this. There are certain situations for instance when the foetus is the product of rape or for medical reasons where abortion is 'understandable'. Also, since pregancy without a husband in certain cultures is such a taboo and might even impel relatives to disown, beat or kill the girl, I can sympathise with her aborting the child. Everyone is different and we should not be shocked and vicious when such unwanted pregancy occur instead we should educate our people.
  15. My speaking is better than my writing. Definitely embarrassing since every person should be able to speak and write fluently their mother tongue. There should be an option at primary schools for children with English as their 2nd language to learn their mother tongue.
  16. Oui, I recognise few although some of the nacamleyees at the back who markasta oo Hadrawi said something shouted 'Wa runti' ama 'waleh wa ragisi' bring to mind few pompous people from the politic section.
  17. I wonder if anyone could recognise any SOL members? SK- how come you are so tuned to the in&out of this project and yet you are not even in the UK. How bizarre.
  18. It seems the the guys are more brave than the ladies.

  22. Well said Cara! Underdog is typical niin dogonimo laa dhargeey o nacnac uun so turaya. The topic itself has no aim.
  23. G-What don't you call and reserve your ticket and collect it at the door. When I went they run out of tickets and quite few people were turned away.
  24. KK-walaal the same is true for married women. There are those who wished they remained single. We have different preferences and there is a high probability that certain men or women much prefer to be single rather than married.
  25. I went to the Sunday programme with Ganey, Hadraawi, Gaarriye and Faduma Qasim. It was well organised and I really enjoyed enough to buy and own a Somali peotry book by these legendary men. The only minor improvement would be to have better refreshments.
