Salaams Nomaads and Aliens! One thing I've noticed reading SOL threads is that the intellect is highly valued here and many of the people that post seem to have intellects more developed than the average Somali. So this is a good thing. But I'd like to remind myself and others that the intellect is something to be used, to make sense of the world around us, and to recognize the Signs of Allah. The principle characteristic of the Intellect is that it obeys Allah, the Exalted. When Allah created the Intellect He asked it: What it was and who He was and the Intellect said, "I am Intellect and you are Allah and you are my Creator". He said to it, come and it came, and retreat and it retreated. But we also have the Nafs and it competes with the intellect. When Allah created the Intellect He asked it: What it was and who was He and the Nafs said, "I am what I am and you are who you are." So Allah locked it up for a thousand years and then released it. and asked it the same questions and finaly answered,"I am Nafs, and You are Allah and You are my Creator." and Allah commanded the nafs to come and it retreated and He asked it to retreat and it came. So we should make sure our nafs doesn't take over our intellects and start to use it for evil or even to start to make it a rival to Allah and His Messenger (PBUH).

It is sickening when she refers to herself as a Muslim? And she repeats it again and again so as to cloud what it means to be a Muslim and once she does that then she can create much havoc on young Muslim minds. There are people more knowledgeable of Islam than Ramadhan, Sh. Abdul Hakim Murad who is a real Islamic Scholar is right across the Island. Still, his points were right on and it is clear that ayan is very ignorant and running on emotions of resentment, hatred and arrogance. She is a complete disgrace to our people and brings nothing but shame to our name. May Allah guide her and protect us.

I'll try not to spend too much time...although I'm not too sure exactly what you mean...not having a zillion posts come up every minute kinda helps too.
