  1. Ras Kamboni waa "special force" laakiin Ciidanka Asaniya baa hubka, dharka iyo raashinkaba siiya. Khilaafna ma jiro, waa wararka beenta ee laga soo sheegayo ciidamada iyo maamulka asaniya...away kuwii lahaa mamulka asaniya ma tagi karo Dhoobley ama dhobley baa laga soo eryay?
  2. Wariyaha Jubbanews.com oo socod hoowleed ku gaaray qeeybo ka mid ah Azaniya ayaa soo booqday degmada Dhoobleey oo hada ah xarun ku meel gaar ah. Wariyaha ayaa inoo soo diray muuqaalo ey ka mid yihiin maamulka iyo ciidamada Azaniya. Waxaa aad u adag ayuu yiri wariyuhu in sawiro laga soo qaado xarumaha iyo jiida hore ee ciidamadu ku sugan yihiin waxaase u suurto gashay in uu sawiradan hoose noo soo diro. Insha Allah maqal iyo muuqaal maamulgoboleedka Azaniya ayaan goor dhow soo galin doonaa.
  3. Sultan of Jubbaland Ali Sonkar, his grandfather Suldan Axmed Magan was the sultan of Jubbaland during the British and Italian era.If Gandi has him onboard thats Jubboyinka for you and there are very significant leaders from Gedo who are apart of this maamul, as well as minority groups who were apart of the process from the beginning .Gandi been instrumental in the creation of the the Somali civil society has been careful to consult the many sections of Jubba society that will contribute to the futue state. The hysteria been fueled by TFG factions will extinguish as they realise they are unable to stop this from going ahead, its ironic that they politicize issues like this when they are faced with constant threat from shabab in Mogadishu. Asaniya will only minimise this threat as they conduct there own operations in the south threatning Shababs power base(Kismayo). Its clearly an order from Ethiopia which doesnt like the clan of the man leading asaaniya, moreover they withdrew from Beledxaawo and Luuq back to dolow so Shabab can put most of there muscle on Dhoobley and Ceelwaaq where the TFG(Asaaniya ) forces are situated, so once Shabab defeated them they could come back with there lackeys and fight Shabab. However this backfired and Asaaniya has recieved much aid from Kenya(Who are at odds with Ethiopia on Jubbaland) as Gandi has important lines of communications to Kenya's gov, From the Kenyan defence minister(Yusuf Xaji) to deputy speakers of parliament(Farax Dawara) and much of the NFD MPs aswell as large support from both the ODM and Kibaki's party who have mutual interests with asaaniya state which is the defeat of Shabab and the normalisation of the border. The talk about Kenya seeking Jubbalands resources is bollocks, Somalia is a sovereign state and Asaniya state will function as a state of Somalia. It will act within the powers and the jurisdiction mandated to any state of Somalia. The final phase of building asaaniya will be completed within the borders of Jubboyinka, Gandi has only been appointed as the president, it was agreed after the 6 day meeting in Limuru that the parliament, the cabinet, and the full Guurti will be declared once Shabab is routed. For now consultations and diologue will continue ahead of that large meeting and further reconcilliatory meetings which will take place in Jubboyinka. The people already making conclusions are only satisfying there own preconcieved biases and have no appetite to see what this is about and what the process has been to reach this goal or where the next steps will go? lastly Al-shabab controls much of the region and Asaniya has not fully declared a Government because of this, its a wait and see game but Asaaniya has come up with the most convincing signs of an organized entity to replace Shabab and they have backed there words with swift action on the ground. So anyone with an alternative come forward or shut it.

  7. Look at this gibberish written by this psuedo-intellectual, who is this group he claims to represent? suddenly after 20 years of war there's a waamo intellectual council who for some reason didnt exist during that period but do now since this new state was called. Whinge all day as you sit idle bereft of ideas.Prof.Gandi has met with all sections of Jubbaland society and the building process is still ongoing its ironic how all this criticism is coming so prematurely when the whole government hasnt even been rolled out, it shows the negative psychology of somalis to everything if they cant spot there "guy".
  8. 9. LOL@Zack calling xidig "adeer" this Xidig guy is a sheep, naftuu ka dhacsanyahay. Chess move by Sharif who opposes "Azania" he is collecting his cronies to try and destablise the Jubbaland Government. Ethiopia/Sharif/Clan bigots are all out to spoil Prof.Gandi's long awaited state building programme. Its bewildering to see a president who cannot even stabilise his own capital play politics with an issue he shouldn't occupy himself with, If Gandi succeeds in dethroning Shabab from Kismayo whats left of this group? this president is a simpleton, his only logic is Gandi does not belong to my "crew" in the TFG.What he also forgets is this "Maamul" is been built within the TFG framework sanctioned by the old A/Y government and continued under Sharif, the only thing he can do is sit and hope his executioners can do the dirtywork for him.Somalia is doomed with men like Sharif.
  10. The clan bigots come out to condemn Prof.Gaandi an accomplished academic who has been a reformer and an active peace-maker in the TFG in recent years, he is also an ardent critic of the 4.5 system. The new regional government he has founded reflects on his core principles, clan will only exist in the house of elders and no where else(35 elders and 69 parliamentarians elected from districts). The marginalised minorities will all have there presence and voice respected in the region. Some of the more radical elements of Prof.Gandis own clan have condemned his efforts to build a broad-based regional government but Prof.Gandi has not bent to there clan outlook on the region nor taken heed to the scorn of other clans who also want to see this projects failure out of there distorted tribal political view.A seasoned politician Prof.Gandi has curbed the efforts of many spoilers especially from Ethiopia and its agents. One of the reasons Gandi was unceremoniously dismissed from his former TFG ministerial position was because he was seen as a threat by Ethiopia. The Jubba region has never experienced such grand efforts to build a regional government with support from many of the inter-govermental organisations and many important leaders from the Jubba region. This will be revealed when the full "Azania" Goverment is declared. The Jess's,morgans and Hirales will be replaced with an effective state government. This attempt at restoring government to the jubba regions is not an empty diaspora huff and puff but an entity that can back up its plans with its armed security force which has been training for the past 2 years and already operational in Gedo and Jubbada Hoose.

  15. I do recall, I even saw the pictures on Ilay's website of Dr.Dolaal's(Aun) body where he claimed to have killed him and we also know Ethiopia said it had killed a senior ONLF leader as reported by the Media.Dolaal and the Admirals differences were temporary and they would have reconciled. The Admiral never took part in the Somali Wars.All-sides know this nor did any ONLF member The O name will stand until we reach our goal of total independence from Ethiopia, its useful in our Political aspirations specially in the International sphere. The O serves as a historical link between our current goals and past relations with the outside world, all historical documentation our link to the past our source documents are with the O name.It has nothing to do with clans although the vast majority of people who have answered thecall also share the clan name, but that is natural the rest will follow as momentum picks up towards the final goal. Its a matter of making them understand that we have to go this way to find a brighter future, we cannot take the course of the W because that failed, it was hijacked by Siyad despite his good intentions the International community didn't agree. The fight has to take the form of an indegenious resistance free of outside forces, for strategic purposes. If you support WSLF, ONLF is no different most of the ONLF leaders were junior WSLF members then and all former WSLF members agree with ONLF's course.ONLF is not the first to use the O name, OLF-Nasrallah also used this during the 50's and 60's when fighting under the great Mujahid Makhtal Dahir. Our children can call the country what they wish.

  17. Continued...... “And lesson number two?” inquired Meles eagerly. “Do you know who your true friends are?” “Of course I do,” responded Meles confidently. “Samora Yonus tops the list…” “Who is he?” Ben interrupted anxiously. “My loyal chief of staff,” replied Meles happily. Ben bolted upright. “Water, water,” he gasped. Trebelsi came running. “Water, water,” he begged her. Terrified, she handed him the bottled water in her hand. He gulped a mouthful. “I am okay,” he reassured her and waved her off. Though calmed, she left the room halfheartedly. “Ben, Ben, are you alright?” hollered a genuinely alarmed Meles. “You almost bumped me off with distress,” said Ben seriously. “Do you know General Rachid Ammar?” “A jerky Saudi General lording over you?” suggested Meles mischievously. “No! No! No! Though, you are right about the jerky part. Rachid was my chief of staff. Allah created him. But I molded him in to what he is. No brains, no ambition. Absolutely safe! Perfect way to keep the military under control, I thought. But he betrayed me. Refused to fire on illegal protesters. Said they were unarmed. Wouldn’t listen when I told him they were unconstitutional. That was all it took to undo what I had built for two decades. One man! One imbecile of a man! Everything else was a house of cards after that. The hundreds of thousands of party members in almost every home in the country meant nothing. A ruling political party in Africa is the greatest of all ruses, Meles. Everything hinges on few key commanders for us,” winded down Ben, his voice tinged with regret. “All true. All true. But you must have forgotten the golden rule,” said Meles, assuming the role of the wise man for a change. “What golden rule?” “The Enver Hoxha rule,” said Meles impatiently. Ben should know this. “Who is Enver Hoxha?” asked Ben. “He died in office, Ben. That’s all you need to know,” said Meles edgily. “He escaped the mob?” asked Ben with awe. “Yep!” replied Meles with pride. “What was his magic?” “A loyal chief-of-staff minus a pack of bickering Generals is equal to an exiled or dead President,” answered Meles authoritatively. Ben Ali gasped. “ Meles! Meles! Meles! You should have told me this before,” objected Ben. “This is the ABC of stability. The best Generals are the ones who despise each other; and most importantly, hold each other in utter contempt. The upshot is assured stability. How could you not have known this? Must be the old age,” said Meles with a tone of remorse. “I am only 75 years,” screamed Ben. “75 years young,” shot back Meles mockingly. “I had ten good more years in front of me,” said Ben, with tears filling his eyes. “Any more words of wisdom for me?” asked Meles. “One more. You could call it golden rule number two,” said Ben mysteriously. “I am all ears, Ben,” said Meles, ready to jot down notes. “Don’t trust Swiss banks!” screeched Ben uncontrollably. Meles was outraged. “But they are every exiled President’s best friends. Everyone knows that. What would the world be like without them?” Meles objected sternly. “Not anymore. I would understand if the accounts in my name were blocked. But they had to block the accounts of every member of my extended family! It’s now a crime to be related to me! Guilty until proven innocent, is what these banks are saying. Good old banking morals don’t hold water anymore. It’s a scandal, Meles. Allah save you from my fate.” “Amen. You must be starving now,” said a saddened Meles. “Perhaps I could help.” “No! No! No! Fortunately, Trebelsi had the foresight to make a large withdrawal of solid gold from the Tunisian National Bank before we left,” answered Ben. “I tell you, Meles, she is a genius, a gift from Allah to me. No one has ever believed me. But I know what I know. I would be on Saudi welfare if not for her,” said Ben with tears filling his eyes for the second time. Both men laughed happily, and thanked their God for their faultless wives. Source:http://www.abugidainfo.com/?p=17042
  18. NOTE: The inspiration for this “imagined conversation” between Tunisia’s exiled President Ben Ali and Ethiopian PM, Meles Zenawi, comes from Prof Al Mariam’s brilliant “Interview” With Birtukan Midekssa; which was written while she was in prison. Like the Professor’s “imagined interview,” this “imagined conversation” is also mostly based—apart form the intended humor and dramatization— on credible news stories, legitimate economic reports and researched materials. Hope you will be informed as well as entertained. Place: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Time: 7:27 PM, Date: Thursday, January 20th 2011 Startled, Ben Ali instinctively flinched at the buzz of his cell phone. Trebesli, his wife, who is two decades younger than him, looked at him inquisitively as she walked in to the room briskly. He shrugged and picked up the cell phone from the table. Days have passed since anyone had called either one of them. “Yes?….”he asked suspiciously. “Who am I speaking to?” inquired a voice reluctantly. “ I know this voice!” exclaimed Ben with obvious excitement. Trebelsi blushed. It must be Obama— FINALLY! Where are your friends when you need them? I am sure Michelle will ask to speak with me, thought Trebelsi as she flashed her husband a winning smile. “ Waaahhhhttttsss uuuupppp, Ben old boy?” Ben Ali was literally shocked. Few seconds elapsed before he could muster a response. “Are you already making fun of me?” replied Ben coldly.” I am NOT an American rapper, you know!” he added rather severely. Intrigued, Trebesli sat next to him. “Is it Obama?” she lip-synched. He shook his head. “Sarkozy?” she pressed eagerly—oh, boy! Has he got some APOLOGY to make! But again, Ben shook his head. “Cameron?” He shook his head and absentmindedly moved his eyes elsewhere. Furious, she stood up and met his eyes. “Who is it?” she implored quietly, waving her hands in exasperation. “ No! No! No! Don’t get me wrong, Ben. I am trying to cheer an old pal. We are in this together. Protests have erupted in Egypt, Mauritania, Algeria; and, believe it or not, Ben, even in LIBYA. It’s like 1989 all over again. What’s this world coming to? FOOLS are self-immolating everywhere. I am outraged, Ben!” replied the voice over the cell. “Glad to hear that, Meles,”Ben said, somewhat reassured. “Go light on the cheering part, though. Nothing will change my mood. I am so mad!” Disappointed, Trebesli sat down. So it’s not Obama. Nor is it Sarkozy. Nor the thousands of people around the world—Tunisians and non-Tunisians— that WE have done favors for, raged Trebesli on the inside. What a cruel, cruel world! And suddenly, tears were rolling down her cheeks. Luckily, Ben was staring out of the window as he spoke to Meles. Knowing that it breaks his heart to see her cry, she sneaked out of the room. Ben hardly noticed. “ My Ambassador tells me you are contentedly lodged in an enormous palace. That’s much better than a prison cell in Tunis,” teased Meles with a chuckle. “Palace?! Palace?!” screamed Ben. A flustered Trebesli run in to the room. Only yesterday, a doctor had cautioned Ben against violent mood swings; raised the possibility of a stroke. “ You should see the pre-conditions they made me sign. It’s a mile long. I tell you, Meles, a prisoner has more rights more than I do. I can’t remember them all. But I think I need the Saudi’s permission to breathe….”he stopped suddenly, too angry to go on. Trebesli sat next to him and squeezed his hand. Ben closed his eyes. Trebesli’s calming effect never fails. “Give me the word, Meles, and I will coming running to you,” continued Ben, suddenly meek more than provoked. “Nothing would give me more pleasure,” responded Meles promptly. “But would the Saudi’s allow you to board a plane?” “I guess not,” replied Ben with resignation. ‘I am virtually a prisoner. NEVER, NEVER end up in my position, Meles.” “Don’t intend to,” answered Meles firmly. “But what went wrong, Ben? You did everything by the book. We looked up to you.” “ By the book. Did everything by the book,” mused Ben shaking his head up and down. Concentrated on the economy like everyone said. Tripled per-capita GDP from 1201 dollars in 1986 to 3786 dollars in 2008. Hear that, Meles? TRIPLED! Only in twenty years. What Arab or African government has equaled that? Tell me, Meles, in the name of the almighty Allah, if you know of any?” asked Ben emotionally. Meles coughed. Move on, he beseeched his friend in his heart. “Well, do you?” pressed Ben belligerently. “Not exactly,’ Meles shot back irritably. “I didn’t think so,” cried Ben triumphantly. Trebelsi’s eyes also glowed with pride. She squeezed his hand once more time and left the room. “And that is not the end of it. I fought poverty tooth and nail. Reduced the poverty rate by 50 percent in fifteen years. But it’s going up everywhere–even in America. Tell me honestly, Brother Meles, I beg you in the name of Allah to tell me truth, has the Ethiopian poverty rate declined by ten percent—not my fifty percent—in the two decades you have been in power?” yelled Ben, apparently beset by the significance of his record. “Ten percent?” asked Meles meekly. “Yes, by Allah, a mere ten percent!” “I did not call to discuss my record,” Meles complained bitterly. “I am making a point. No offense intended,” said Ben, backing off. Meles grunted. But an excited Ben was oblivious to Meles’ feeling. “The 2010-2011 Global competitiveness Report ranked Tunisia first in Africa. If I remember correctly, Ethiopia was near the bottom. And I am the one who is stuck in veiled Saudi Arabia. Where is the justice in that, Meles? The IMF and World Bank couldn’t have enough of me. One of them, in fact, a world renowned Economist, wished 51 Ben Ali’s for the world—one for each African country. Ha! Ha! Ha!…… Gave the opposition more than fifty seats in Parliament. No offense, Meles, but that is more than the one sat you conceded. And the percentage of Tunisians online? 34%! Who could beat that? Why am I stuck in Saudi Arabia?” roared Ben Ali in a wounded voice. Meles groaned with palpable pain. How many times have the IMF and the World Bank told him HE was their pet African leader? “Did you get the message?” asked Ben suddenly. “What message?” queried a bewildered Meles. “Lesson number one: the more people eat, the more freedom they demand. Don’t lose sleep over the ten million plus hungry Ethiopians as along as they are not dying, buddy. They will turn against you the moment their bellies are full.”
  19. Look at this bafoon, Your Woyane Government should recieve an "Oscar" for this carefully choreographed masterpiece. We all know this Government is using henchmen from the Maow Mafia and Itixad to discredit ONLF Politically, which is nothing but an extension of the wider conflict between TPLF and ONLF.If ONLF was busy emailing "Phantom Military" victories why would you waste resources on an opponent that doesn't pose a threat. The TPLF Criminal Group is deluded and this latest scheme will fail like those before it, the TPLF can manufacture as many "Peace-deals" or release the seemingly never-ending supply of civillian prisoners to decieve the people of the Somali region and the International community but the reality has not changed, the Somali region is still an oasis of injutsice and the boys in the bush will continue cooking Woyane dishes in Ural trucks.
  20. This is the same Government which is afraid of letting the "Free Media, the U.N and NGO's" from entering the region to make there own Independent assesment? delusional, then they have the audacity to make these claims.ONLF has hit them hard, Meles continues to spend the dollars on a futile campaign of deception.
  21. The Economy of Ethiopia is a Government run monopoly, true to Meles's Marxist roots. The IMF and World Bank who prop up these dictators have even shied away from agreeing with there Gunea Pig. The Economist called "“The Ethiopian government, one of the most economically illiterate in the modern world....".In another slap in the face they debunked his fictitious statistics of amazing growth(almost 11%) and said Ethiopia was growing at the average rate in Sub-Saharan Africa or just a little above. On November 3, 2007, the Economist magazine reported The fact is that for all the aid money and Chinese loans coming in, Ethiopia's economy is neither growing fast enough nor producing enough jobs. The number of jobs created by flowers is insignificant beside an increase in population of about 2m a year, one of the fastest rates in Africa.... The government claims that the economy has been growing at an impressive 10% a year since 2003-04, but the real figure is probably more like 5-6%, which is little more than the average for sub-Saharan Africa. And even that modestly improved rate, with a small building boom in Addis Ababa, for instance, has led to the overheating of the economy, with inflation moving up to 19% earlier this year before the government took remedial action. The reasons for this economic crawl are not hard to find. Beyond the government-directed state, funded substantially by foreign aid, there is--almost uniquely in Africa--virtually no private-sector business at all. The IMF estimates that in 2005-06 the share of private investment in the country was just 11%, nearly unchanged since Mr Zenawi took over in the early 1990s. That is partly a reflection of the fact that, despite some privatisation since the centralised Marxist days of the Derg, large areas of the economy remain government monopolies, closed off to private business. This is where Ethiopia misses out badly. Take telecoms. While the rest of Africa has been virtually transformed in just a few years by a revolution in mobile telephony, Ethiopia stumbles along with its inept and useless government-run services.... There is no official unemployment rate, but youth unemployment, some experts reckon, may be as high as 70%. All those graduates coming out of state-run universities will find it very hard to get jobs. The mood of the young is often restless and despairing; many dream of moving abroad.... Just as the government is slowing the pace of economic expansion for fear that individuals may accumulate wealth and independence, so it is failing to move fast enough from a one-party state to a modern, pluralist democracy. Again, the reason may be that it is afraid to. The Heritage Foundation, the pre-eminent conservative American think tank echoes the Economist in its 2010 Index of Economic Freedom concluded: Ethiopia underperforms in many of the 10 economic freedoms. The business and investment regime is burdensome and opaque. The overall quality and efficiency of government services have been poor and are further undermined by weak rule of law and pervasive corruption. Monetary stability is hampered by state distortions in prices and interest rates, and trade freedom is hurt by high tariff and non-tariff barriers…. All imports must be channeled through Ethiopian nationals registered as official import or distribution agents with the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Foreign participation is prohibited in domestic banking, insurance and microcredit services, and several other activities…. Ethiopia ranks 126th out of 179 countries in Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index for 2008. Despite legal restrictions, officials have been accused of manipulating the privatization process, and state-owned and party-owned businesses receive preferential access to land leases and credit. ......... Zenawi is desperate to show economic development of epic proportions in Ethiopia after nearly 2 decades of clinging to power. The fact remains that despite the incredible claims of economic growth, tens of millions of people are starving and go without any health care. Millions of young people remain unemployed and trapped in hopelessness. There is no rule of law and human rights violations are widespread. Whether or not Zenawi's regime has accomplished an economic feat with few rivals in modern history is not a matter of wishful thinking or public relations. It is a matter of evidence: accurate, complete, reliable and comprehensive statistical evidence that is systematically and carefully collected, analyzed and verified. Such evidence can not be invented, fabricated, manufactured, contrived, concocted or cut from whole cloth. Benjamin Disraeli, the 19th Century British prime minister said, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." In Ethiopia today, we are witnessing all three!
