I doubt if he would be able to get across any comprehensible message across due to his staggering heavy accent coupled with his notable illiteracy and philistinism. The convalescent old hag looks creepy and awkward. Because of his Parkinson disease affliction; I am sure he will be having hard time to even keep his shaky hands under control. Many of us will be embarrassed and mortified by being represented by such an unsophisticated mucker!!!

TFG Meeting in XAMAR, [who has more support in]?????
OLOL replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
Cumar Filish, Maxamuud Salaad Nuur, Furux, Cadde Gaaboow,Gen. Maxamed Sheekh Cusmaan Miikaa'iil and many others influential figures in Mogadishu all belong to the same clan. Some are opportunists and others are realists. I know one thing that though they are all opposed both to the clannish machinations of president warlord Yeey and the apathetic selfish mendacity of the warlords..i.e. Qanyare ,Ato & Sudi.. Mogadishu people are tired of clan nonesense. They have confidence in their clout and are not worried about the petty clannish politics of Yeey. Some even argue Yeey is means to an end.....You have civil societies, intellectuals, political opportunists, women's organizations, doctors, students, religious clerks, free press, free market and all are engaging each other with discussions of how to get rid of the warlords and other leeches. This shows the laissez-faire thinking of the different competing Mogadishu groups. This is a city of maturity and realism. I know close families who are torn apart by different ideologies. There is no monolithic view in this city of opposites unlike other parts of Somalia. -
May God save Somalia from another senseless destruction. Amen! The second civil war is soon to come to a news-site next to you thanks to Yeey and his divisive policies. let me remind you all that the last dictator was mightier (in theory) and had more troops than the current contender...and we all know about his fate and how it was so easy to destroy his make-belief invincibilty ------------ 700 oo ciidan ah kuna hubeysan 27 tikniko ah oo ka mid Ciidamada Maxamed Qanyare ayaa kasoo dhaqaaqay degmada Ceelbuur ayagoona kusoo jeedaan koofurta Soomaliya. Some people are so terrified and perpetually remain frightened. They are driven by fear, all sorts of fear: fear of losing, of being defeated, of being recognized as weak, and so on. we have our cheerleaders here employing trivial rumors because they have such fear consuming them even though they are now in positions from which they could change the focus of their destiny and decide not to live in fear. Among the die-hard fanatics of Yeey might perhaps be some canny opportunists, but the cheerleaders here in our forum are core believers of the clannish cause. I think they are this way because they know no other ways to confront their fears and therefore are subservient to their familiar clannish existence and thus will have this perpetual fear and will continue to entertain their hallucinating rumor and propagandas. JVA is just there to talk and consolidate their power base in the fertile regions of Somalia. It is just a conference....no one is even worried of Yeey and his shameless shenanigans! so chill people and let us see what the conclusion of this alliance.

A phrase I like is in the "Get up Stand up" song by one of my idols, The Rastafarian Jamaican prophet Bob Marley. It goes like this.. “You can fool some people sometimes But you can't fool all the people all the time." I guess it was a Peter Tosh's line...in the song. We ( Supposedly Me&Juma& the rest of clannish challengers)are just telling these inflated “old hand-talking heads†that the past shtick had worn off! laba wajiile waqtigiisii waa la soo dhaafay- it is a whole new ball-game now and no one can be deceived no more! I am not aware if there is any modus operandi now to enable us a clear-cut calculation of what will eventually happen in our messy upcoming sick-clannish and primitive affairs. However, I will rely on guessing that one way or the other we can come close to foretelling what will inevitably happen tomorrow, and that is by taking note of today's clatter and clamor. By anticipating tomorrow's potential evils in the cacophony of today's clannish jingle,- the quest for a certain clique to dominate others and have its way - We will make sure to counter the angst of tomorrow by dismissing proactively all apologetic and opportunistic "old-hags" who hide behind clannish masks in the fight for peace and stability and thus we will continue our vehement opposition to tribalism and warlord-ism and that will remain unassailable. Unfortunately, nomadic unlettered cheerleaders in this Forum have their short grasp on things.

Good scrutiny of the warlords and analysis of what could transpire if this impasse is not curbed soon in a peaceful manner...from one of the most qualified culprits of tribalism in the Somali government history.....a veteran statesman whose past is open to discussion. I somehow doubt his sincerity. He has done his share of political duplicty and division in his era and perhaps the elderly politician knows where all the somali disarray and turmoil started... so as they say..belaayo ninkii keenaa bixiya .... However; Somalis are very sensitive and clan-minded people and will question why Yeey's name or his clique is not even mentioned one time in this article. Somalis will question what is with the oversimplification of this problem and the paintbrush labeling of the Mogadishu populace as people who don't want to see an end to this senseless gridlock. More than ever, few days ago, people were taken aback by the Ex-prime minister's recent pronouncement on the airwaves where he was candidly talking like a characteristically obsessed Somali clan-minded personality and aggressively attacking a certain Somali clans and condemning them as criminals who get rich on the suffering of the people.

Ma-xishoodayaasha and clannish fadhi-ku-dirir loonies will never disappoint you becouse of their innate clannish temperament of defying dignified civility and regal prudence. Unfortunately it is so dominant that is hard to reform them no matter what you do. Things will never change and some people will never become civilised. We will wait and see what they do in their so-called MN turf.....i heard they are preparing a large crowd of cedar neighborhood grand-mothers and children to counter-protest the speaker's coming meeting with the somali community in the midwest.

Hopelessness of the defeated lot is growing astronomically day after day in the absence of realistic expectation of their conflict-ridden reckless warlord. Desperation can set in and give a depiction of the course of their discourteous reaction. The effects of such begrudged reactions, born out of despondency can be terminally incurable. We are all witnesses here! the shame of the Ma-Xishoodayaal is beyond measure!!!

It seems as though the JVA delegates in Brava are about to make a grave mistake by including some unreliable controversial figure in their alliance. Yes it is true that Morgan is neuteralized but he shouldn't be awarded with any position of leadership. He is still a war criminal, the butcher of Hargeisa, and his induction into this alliance will have some negative implications in the minds of the friendly people in Somaliland. and Duke what new realities on the ground are you refering to? I see you are still living in your usual cheerleading hullicinations....I must admit you are an awe-inspiring cheering champion! what a dedication to a lost cause!!keep on dreaming! ... at least that may put off an inevitable pyschological aggrevation and frustration to latter days! As I heard through the grapvines, the bogeymen in Mog are back and are pickering on what fronts to attack on Jowhar.... nin kuu digay kuma dilin ....1500 ragtag, never tested punt skinnies Vs.the hardened elite technicals of you know who? and of what they are capable?!! ma la buubaa hee? Yeey's days are counted and soon he will be the butt of all the jokes!! Hasta La vista Mr. Preseident!!! booto-badane!! armoow qooleey baal tifan noqdaa?

By his own admission, Yeey has said that his first year as the president of the poor failed state of Somalia has been a total failure. The warlord turned president credits the failure and breakdown of his incompetent destitute government to the international community whom he blames of refusing to come to his help since he was selected president of Somalia by his peers of warlords and clannish opportunists. Yeey also blames his political enemies at home for this failure. Yeey has so far to acknowledge the shortcomings of his SRRC clique, a consortium of warlords loyal to the Meles regime in Addis Ababa and the incompetence that is characteristic of his nepotistic political advisors mostly from his clannish enclave of Puntland. Laying this preposterous blame on the international community without mentioning failures of his presidency and inept government is a clear demonstration of the lack of honesty and objectivity. True to his approach and mark, Yeey known quite well by the dubious distinction of acting on his autocratic impulse and never admitting his political blunder before thinking of the horrible consequences, is continuing to shift the blame of the failure of his leadership to others. So far the warlord turned-president was successful to accrue all the top positions of this transitional government. He has appointed himself the president, the speaker and the prime minister. He dissolved and abrogated the legislature and dismissed the honorable speaker as ill-bred lackey for the Mogadishu warlords.A government for his clique, by him and of his whims is what Yeey believes. A government for the people, by the people and of the people still remains a remote possibility for most Somalis since Yeey came to power a year ago by Ethiopian backing. While the three branches of government - the executive, legislative and judiciary - are to provide the necessary checks and balances on one another to facilitate a functioning democratic process, Yeey has made these institutions insignificant and inexistent. This warlord turned president is the exemplary typical dictator who will not tolerate seperation of power, transparency and democratic accountability. One of the important elements reached in the bogus peace accord in Nairobi which was agreed upon by all of the warring factions was the need to have the Somali military restructured to reflect regional/clan balance. Instead, without consulting the rest of the warlords, Yeey all alone called for the historical foe of Somalia, the much hated and despised Tigre armed forces who oppress Somalis in O.G.A.D.E.N region to invade Somalia, disguising as peace keepers. He sent his militia clansmen to Godey to be trained and equipped with arsenal in order to attack and conquer his rival warlords. Yeey belongs to the sort of people, read WARLORDS, who are good at destroying rather than building. He is not a nation builder. He has completed his proverbial mission, which is throwing the country back to its earlier stages of division and hatred. His record is full of clannish deceptions and shady manipulations designed purely to empower his clique at the expense of the nation. The verdict of most peace loving Somalis is that Yeey lacks the political will and competence to effect the necessary political change Somalia desperately needs. As long as he remains president, reconciliation, genuine peace and stability will remain elusive and circumstances in Somalia will further worsen. And that's why he must come to realize the inevitable reality that he cannot serve any useful purpose for the country at all by offering his immediate resignation and departure from politics. A warlord is always a warlord. Somalia indeed deserves better. Yeey and all other warlord friends must go....

.. Intaad meesha la istaagi lahayd aflagaado sida hablaha dukaamalayda, Almiino qiro oo dheh si aan kugula doodo ma garanayi.... [/QB] what a rude chauvinistic sexism! is that the best you can come up with ? just to use such belittling remarks on the wonderful somali sisters? it is a well known fact that while clan minded Somali men have chosen violence, Somali women have remained consistent and courageous in their efforts in searching for peace and reconcilliation. They have been the backbone of our society for ages and they deserve to be respected. Gabdhaha soomaliyeed raali iska noqda....af soomaligaa sidaas ka noqday ragga qaarkiis... markaad hadalkaaga af-lagaadada ah ee aad hablaha soomaliyeed aad hoos ugu dhigeeyso aad ka soo noqoto ayaan kuu jawaabayaa . qof sidaas u aqoon daran oo u maangaaban ma mudna xitaa in loo jawaabo laakiin in la isa saxo dhaqanka wanaagsan iyo ilbaxnimadeey ku jirtaa ... what qabiil am i from? and yeah reer baadiye is from up there and kor ..... and they have been the ones that have brought tribalism to us .... so it won't matter how u percieve things ... you can't even decipher what i am talking about let alone have a logical civilised unemotional debate...with any one....

Sorry to say, we have promoters of tribalism and favoritism that don't shy away from their cheerleading. They have the audacity to defend the callous, broad day hypocrisy, and prejudice of their clannish warlords. For these biased defenders, reason cannot cut it. So, we have to actually continue taunting and abusing their narrow mindedness...that is the only way we can dispell myths. I have no intention here to convince anyone about my impartiality when it comes to somalia's messy clan politics for i belong to none of the primitive ones from god knows where!. However, don’t expect me to tone down my criticism and opposition to your warlord/president. You all seem to have the same mentality and thinking and i am well skilled in how to deride clannish nonesense..

Sky....is Yeey is an angel? It is a well known fact that Yeey is a murderer who personally killed important politicians such as Shandiile, Sultan Hurre and Abdirahman Aideed. What exactly qualifies this thuggish soldier for a leadership role? Is anyone out there, or am I the only one disturbed and alarmed by this shameful cheerleeding of this sick-minded clannish warlod by his clansmen? waryaada isku xishooda oo nin jecleeysiga dhaafa....!! hadii kale waxii la idin ku xantaa meesha ka soo baxaya...

Abdullahi Yusuf: Leader of the pack Yasin Rage Ali september 09,2005 IT'S NOTHING NEW: Colonel Abdullahi Yusuf, the Somali president, is back to his old antics. In a recent interview with a London-based newspaper, President Abdullahi darkly warned that, unless the transitional federal government (TFG) he leads gets political and financial backing from the West, Somalia 's future lay in the hands of Islamic extremists, of terrorists. This plea by Somalia 's warlord-turned-president is consistent with prior statements he has made spanning the years of his controversial political career. This declaration by the President comes as no surprise to me. During his tenure as leader of the semi-autonomous Puntland regional government, President Abdullahi was known to have collaborated with Ethiopian security services in the detention of alleged terrorists – or, rather, any Muslim male the imperialist Abyssinian administration deemed as a threat to its wide-ranging security concerns in the Horn of Africa region. It is no wonder that enemies of the President – both within and without the TFG ranks – have labeled him an Ethiopian puppet disguised beneath a three-piece business suit and a clean-shaven face. But, most ordinary Somalis must be pondering over a single, instinctive question: Why has the Somali President – elected to look after the collective interest of the nation and its people – inviting prying foreign eyes into our midst, into our affairs? There is no doubt that his cash-strapped, Jowhar-based administration has knocked on many potential donor doors with the sole aim of acquiring financial aid. President Abdullahi – throughout recent years – has positioned himself as the premier candidate able to secure Western economic support needed to re-build the administrational and security infrastructure of our war-ravaged homeland. Yet, Western assistance is not as forthcoming as he – and his supporters – had hoped for. There are two primary reasons as to why the President's strategy has failed thus far: one, the President's track record as a divisive leader has not escaped the attention of Western diplomats; and secondly, the West is already mindful of the pitfalls of interfering in Somali political affairs, forever immortalized by the now-notorious Black Hawk Down episode. For President Abdullahi, declaring Mogadishu a terrorist stronghold is one step on his route to one day control the Capital and, by extension, the nation. He doesn't foresee – or perhaps chooses not to see – the potentially devastating long-term effects of asking for Western aid in routing out so-called terrorists. Western governments and their agent in the Horn of Africa region – Addis Ababa – don't want to see the rise of militant Islam in Somalia . The region's vastly Muslim population and its close proximity to the Middle East coupled with Somalia 's lawlessness serve as a potential base for the establishment and spread of militant Islam – a direct threat to both Addis Ababa and American President George W. Bush's so-called “war on terror†campaign. However, Professor Said S. Samatar, in his article “Unhappy Masses and the Challenge of Political Islam in Somalia,†contradicts the basis of the President's argument and therefore puts to rest the West's unfounded fear of militant Islam in Somalia : In spite of the presence of all the conditions that should unleash cataclysmic upheavals in Somalia , nothing of the sort has happened there, or is likely to happen. What explains this bizarre defiance of anthropological theory? Simply put, the patterns of Somali social organization, or disorganization, provide a most satisfactory if disheartening explanation…the Somali polity is shaped by a single, central principle that overrides all others, namely the phenomenon that social anthropologists call “the segmentary lineage system.†Although all the necessary pre-conditions for the establishment of a large-scale Islamic extremist network in Somalia are tacitly in place, no such thing has occurred to date. The reason: bluntly put, Somalis place more emphasis and loyalty on clan and sub-clan lineage than on the tenets and teachings of Islam. The vast majority of President Abdullahi's political opposition are headquartered in Mogadishu . They oppose his policies because they see him as a direct threat to their political powerbase and financial assets. But the President believes that, by declaring that Mogadishu is in the hands of terrorists, he'll garner Western aid so he could implement his policy of removing all his enemies – be they real or perceived – from any position of power. This includes Mogadishu warlords-turned-Cabinet ministers and the so-called Islamic courts who continue to wield influence in the Capital. At the end of the day, it comes down to what it has always boiled down to in the past: no Somali leader of today is willing to give up his piece of the pie so that another may devour it. Like competence and fairness, the notion of selflessness is conveniently absent from Somali politics. If you ask me, the terrorists President Abdullahi refers to are all members of his TFG administration. They're the same men who've hijacked the Somali nation and held it for ransom – they've sold our dignity, destroyed our social fabric and are today positioned to play principal roles in Somalia 's future. And President Abdullahi Yusuf? He's just the leader of the pack. Seattle , WA ( USA ) dabshid@hotmail.com

As times go on, it is becoming harder to find anything good coming out of the sham government of Yeey, a clannish criminal enterprise, created and maintained for the sole sadistic clannish ambition of a few sick Somali men..i.e... warlords. The men at the helm of our unfortunate leadership have long lost any sense of civility and value towards their fellow Somalis. They are old fashioned primitive lot who have no sense of history. The thought that a government would create chaos and cause the displacement of tens of thousands of its own people may seem difficult for many to understand. But looking at the menacing behavior of Yeey’s and other warlords, where it came from, where it is headed, the conclusion becomes obvious. In a matter of weeks, with their typical ruthless activities, the militia clansmen loyal to Yeey & other warlords will go on rampage and enagage in another senseless clannish fighting. And these ragtag warlord Militia fighters will get into a fight, killing and displacing thousands of people, destroying and looting entire villages in their way. The actions and conduct of the warlord in power in Jowhar makes any negotiations almost futile. It obvious Yeey would resort to any trick in the book to stay in power until he gets his ultimate goal of settling score. The great majority of Somalis have already reached the conclusion that this is another failed attempt to bring peace to Somalia. After too many bloodshed and destruction, Somali warlords will again meet in Egypt for another round of our countless and never-ending bogus peace processes. The competing warlords will talk and picker once again and go back to Somalia with artificial promises and resort to their divisive clannish behavior. And a few years down the road, another African or Arab country, will call another bogus Somali peace conference until they get tired of us and tell us that we have a serious problem to resolve, a societal problem. And let us smell the coffee people; we know we have an incurable sickness! That sickness has a face and a name... it is called Qabiil and it will never go away. Let us forget about nationhood and Qaranimo. Let us call the UN trusteeship for 20 years until these elderly men can't form a comprehensive system of governance. we can't get along at all. let us just stay in our fiefdoms and break the nation into clannish enclaves. Then, I delusionally convince myself that it won’t be that far when some of the neutral and peace loving Somalis tired of this nonesense may convincingly tend to revert to a popular revolutionary uprising to end this lunacy. They would point to the fact that people who have turned Somalia into a criminal enterprise will never engage to resolve their differences in peace where everyone has a chance to be resepcted and to live in peace. I hope to witness that day in my short lifetime!

Ethiopian-trained militia enter Somalia: officials 2 hours, 41 minutes ago Heavily armed militiamen have entered the Somali provisional capital of Jowhar from neighbouring Ethiopia to back the embattled government of President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed, officials said as fears of a fresh conflict mounted. The militias arrived in Jowhar, about 90 kilometres (55 miles) north of the capital Mogadishu, overnight Tuesday from the the Ethiopian border town of Mustahili, where they were allegedly trained by the Ethiopian army, Somali officials said. Rival sides in the divided Somalia government confirmed the entry of the fighters from Ethiopia, but disagreed on their nature and the aim of their deployment. The camp allied to influential parliament speaker Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden and the powerful warlords who control Mogadishu claimed that the fighters backed Yusuf, who is supported by the Ethiopian government. "Yusuf has endorsed actions that are treasonable. He is leading the occupation of his country by militiamen trained by a neighbouring country," parliamentary spokesman Omar Hasi Aden told AFP in Mogadishu. "The idea is to ignite fresh violence ... Somalia is on the brink of renewed violence," added Aden, a former colonel in the regime of dictator Mohamed Siad Barre, whose 1991 ouster sparked chaos and a breakdown of central government in the Horn of Africa nation. We will "bravely defend our nation from aggression by Ethiopia with the help of non-patriotic Somali politicians," he said. But Deputy Information Minister Salad Ali Jelle said the deployment was legitimate and part of efforts by the transitional government to form a national army. Speaking from Jowhar, he said the Mogadishu-based warlords "are not happy to see a functional national army in Somalia to enforce law and order. They are sabotaging efforts to recruit the national army." Speaking in Nairobi on Monday, Somali Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi said the government had a right to recruit fighters who would be trained into a standing national army. Meanwhile in Mogadishu, warlords and some MPs held talks to discuss the deployment in Jowhar, which they have described as an act of war. The division in the Somali government stems from a decision in June by Yusuf and Gedi to relocate to Jowhar, while the warlords maintain the Mogadishu is the bona fide capital of Somalia and refuse to recognize and decision made by Yusuf's team. Both sides have traded accusations of plotting to attack each other, but without presenting evidence. Influential and often confrontational Mogadishu cleric, Shiekh Hassan Dahir Aweys, warned Yusuf against sparking a new war in Somalia, which is been ravaged by interclan fighting, usually spawned by territorial control. "The newly founded government is creating more confusion to Somali politics let alone bringing peace," Aweys said. "It is more appropriate this time to call for the Somalis from dictatorial tendencies of few personalities and the long-standing ill-intentions of Ethiopia against Somalia," he added. Ties between the two poor Horn of African neighbours have been strained since Mogadishu lost its bid to reclaim the vast ****** region, populated by ethnic Somalis, from Ethiopia during the 1977-78 war. If we take a deep look at Somalia’s unfortunate political and historical journey since its independence, we will get to understand how some folks are underestimating the Somali reality of clan power and embellishing inconsequential threats to use force to reach their clan ambitions. Sometimes one wonders what’s wrong with the moral pre-eminence of nomadic people who thrive on false threats and political deceit to survive. Are they not learning from history or are they being dishonest to their defeatist status? The question is: are these people so insensitive to the mournful countenance and the desperation on the wrinkled and miserable faces of their suffering elders who failed so miserably pursuing the same thing? All of the die-hard cheerleaders and liars are now on preparations to line up with nepotistic kickbacks, favoritism from Yeey's stolen handouts on the back of the hardworking people. How many illiterate cabbies from certain region and sorroundings are now boasting of being offered consulting positions? countless!! I recommend you corrupt clannish charlatans and crooks to curb your greedy appetite and stop this ridiculous fantasy. The threats, pronouncement and actions of Yeey and his clique are nothing but publicity stunt to divide the powerful majority . Will it work? You will be disappointed with Yeey sooner than you think and he may soon start joining you in exile. We don’t oppose Yeey because we hate his clan or region but because of his irresponsible actions and his clannish tendency and his unwise nature of insulting and assaulting neutrally fed-up people, ....the same thing you all cheerleaders are engaging and planting here in this forum. I advice the ambitious clannish spin-masters to do some soul searching and to flip through the pages of our recent history. Remember that your daydream for petty theft, nepotism and government jobs is not worth spilling another innocent Somali blood. Somalia needs peace and reconciliations. We are all tired of tribalism and senseless wars. Somalia deserves better than this lunacy.

After the attempted façade of disarming of the most feared marauding Mogadishu militias accused of committing some of the most hideous atrocities ever in Somalia, and after the attempted façade of publicly signing false peace accords by the contemptible warlords as a lure for clannish support, The ineffectual so-called Somalia Transitional Federal Government - based in the provincial town of Jowhar, led by the notoriously divisive figure Warlord Yeey - is on the verge of recruiting and arming tens of thousand fighters from certain region in an effort to crush the powerful warlords turned ministers, the country's new dissident group. There are sinister repercussions in this short-sighted venture, for it entails that conditions which made the country a living hell for more than 15 years with horrific consequences for peace and stability - which still linger- will be exacerbated. Even if the unorthodox splinter group are defeated (which is improbable considering their proven meanness and huge muscle), these armed clan fighters would remain a plague on a society already on its knees in chaos, leading to spreading insecurity and therefore an unsuitable climate for reconstruction and reconciliation. Following a failed attempt to reconcile with the opposing Mogadishu warlords, Warlord turned President Abdullahi Yusuf (Yeey) has now pledged to exploit his clan militia of unproven ex-fighters. The Mogadishu Warlords either couldn’t fulfill their unrealistic promises of better economic prospects than the roadblock option for their militiamen. They can't use clan card which served as key incentives during the heydays of the unfortunate civil war has became a thing of the past. These promises are far from being fulfilled in the face of new moves to rearm a ragtag reservoir of discontented fighters who feel cheated over the allotment of the war's booty - money and status. Knowing the grim reality that failed Mogadishu splinter group, The Jowhar faction has thought of recruiting a new army of untrained and amateur zealots from the president’s clansmen. This thinking may be a convenient, short-term means against Mogadishu Adversaries, but it definitely carries frightening long-term implications. The problem with these marauding clan based militias is that once armed, disarming them after the armed offensive becomes a difficult dilemma. And once they are not disarmed, they turn on the population for their livelihood because experience has shown that the opportunistic warlords of Somalia have no visionary strategy to make the lives of their killing machines better. The warlords are not interested in the welfare of their ruthless fighting militias after their service, and only entice them when they are cornered by their foes. Where is the assurance that these clansmen will not turn against those that have supported them in Hiiraan and Shabelle? The skirmishes in Beled-Weyne between locals and these militias should give us an indication of what could take place in other areas. We are talking about undisciplined clansmen uprooted from rural life against other undisciplined clansmen from urban squalor who were made to believe that life can be better with an AK-47 in hand. We have all to be aware that old tribal and regional divide is prevailing at a time when the country's is in ruins and its political leadership is a laughing joke in the eyes of the world. This divide did not originate with the current group. It is the result of decades of manipulations for economic and political dominance by competing clans. However, this tribal divide and animosity assumed its crudest form since the inception of the current government of warlords by warlords for the warlords in Embagathi. In his bid to strengthen power, Yeey is adopting some sneaky tactics such as aligning himself with two dim-witted sons of the native majority. Short and shifting political allegiance is a plot that has become so common in Somalia and Yeey is using it to weaken his opposition. This plot seems working as frustrated Mogadishu groups are lined up to blame each other on their ineffectiveness. We are back to square one. The worst crime of the international community against the people of Somalia is to have allowed warlords to stand for election. The innocent people of Somalia are once again the vulnerable victims in this clannish dominance game.

what is so beautiful of a fog and rugged small mountain? is this our version of the Rocky mountains or the Alps? plus the chick needs to see a dentist to get her stained teeth cleaned.

Yeey is the terrorist here. what a kiss *** hypocrite apostate! typical of his ilk! I salute the courageous stance of our Ulema even though they have failed us so many times and I don't agree with their approach and haste unthinking extremism. No dignified Muslim should ever become a stooge for the enemies of Islam. for that alone, I salute Sheikh Aweeys for his audacity to speak against the global American hegemony.

The Somali people have suffered so much, and do not want another armed clannish group trying to dominate others. Our past experiences with dictators and other Somali warlords have shown us that armed clansmen only fight for their self-centered clannish agendas. All the warlords came into existence promising to bring about freedom and justice to the Somali people. What Somalis got instead were vile villains that violated their rights and caused their demise and destruction. Now, we have Yeey and his faction – the so-called transitional federal government- promising peace and freedom to all Somalis. How can we be assured that Yeey and his group are any different from past maniacs and the other Somali warlords? Judging from Yeey’s previous association with SSDF, a clannish reactionary faction, one can conclude that his group may be nothing more than another clannish group interested in promoting its clannish agenda once in power. We have to remember that warlord Yeey is part of these hideous Somali villains. The current warlord/president for a while was in charge of a clannish despotism in Puntland that not only misused its meager resources but dumped toxic waste in its shores, imprisoned and assassinated its opponents and doubters. Yeey and his clannish clique want to launch another civil war with an unheard undertaking of vengeance to depose the ineffective warlords in Mogadishu. Yeey and his gang of thugs instead will create another bloody disaster that may cause the death of thousands of innocent Somalis. To shield the poor people of Mogadishu from the looming disaster, Yeey should be contained in presiding over the inefficient, inept and nepotistic government in Jowhar by any means necessary until he gives the ghost. No need to launch an offence for it will be counter productive at this time. Furthermore, The Somali people know that Yeey’s clique is incapable of governing Somalia. The solution is not another clannish group proclaiming to be Somalia's saviours. Yeey’s clique must put their clannish ambitions aside and must abide the reconciliation process and engage others in a spirit of peace and understanding. Armed contest is not the solution to Somalia's problems. The consequence of armed battle, as we have seen in the past, is that our poor people who do not have the resources to get out of Somalia will suffer most. There may also be another massive destruction of lives and properties that may set back the little socio-economic development that exist now in Somalia. Yeey and his cronies may make Somalia another hell on planet already hell. The use of force to effect political change is detrimental to development of a peaceful society. Based on Somalis past experiences with the use of force to achieve political objectives, should Somalis support military clannish adventurism backed by its historic foe Ethiopia?! The answer is NO!
