Salaam again: Yacquub: The point I was making was that pple in glass houses should not throw stones. Secondly, both sunnis and shias are politically active but in different ways and guided by different principals. This labelling of muslims kuffaar and mushrikiins is the new phenomenon of this age of fitna. One should be absolutely sure. For the rasuul scws said if one muslim calls another kaffir then surely one of them is. Here some account of what u requested: The Shi'ites are a small faction of the Muslim population marked by their dedication to martyrdom, who today control only the nation of Iran. These people originally lived in Kufa, modern-day Iraq, and resisted being under the rule of the Syrians. The Shi'ites consist of the followers of the descendants of an ancient Muslim ruler, 'Ali, whose power as a leader was usurped and initiated this movement within the Islamic nation. In 680, a Shi'ite revolt was brutally suppressed at the battle of Karbala. The members of 'Ali's family were brutally murdered. Modern Shi'ites view the loss of this battle not as a disaster, but as Hasayn's deliberate sacrifice, designed to awaken the Muslim population to the sour, selfish state of the Muslim leadership. The battle has, therefore, become the single most important event in Shi'ite history and has made martyrdom an enduring part of their religion. Muhammed, the renowned founder and prophet of the Muslim religion, was replaced after his death by Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman. These leaders were older than, but less closely related to, 'Ali, the son-in-law, cousin, and adopted brother of Muhammed. Because of this, a small faction of Muslims thought that 'Ali should have assumed the throne after Muhammed's death and not the other men. After Uthman's death, 'Ali was made "Caliph", the successor to political leadership. 'Ali married Muhammed's daughter, Fatima, and had two sons, Hasan and Husayn. The eldest, Hasan, succeeded 'Ali and gave up the Caliphate to Mu'awiya, the more powerful governor of Syria, but retained the Imamate, the religious leadership of the Muslim world. According to tradition, Hasan was then poisoned by his wife at Mu'awiya's behest. His younger brother, Husayn, succeeded him at the age of 46 in 49/669, and roughly ten years later Mu'awiya died to leave his son Yazid with the Caliphate. Yazid was known as a drunkard and as one who did not follow the Muslim law. As a result, the Kufans wanted Husayn, still the Imam (religious leader), to come and rule in their city. If the Kufans could succeed, their city would become very powerful, independent of Yazid. Husayn decided to leave Mecca where he had been living to fulfill the Kufan's request, although many of his advisors told him not to go since he had little military support. Husayn set out to restore the religious leadership amidst this advice, taking fifty armed men and the women and children of his family with him. While Husayn was on his way to answer the call of the Kufans, Yazid jumped ahead of him and set up a governor in Kufa to put down the would-be rebellion. This governor executed some suspected supporters of Husayn, paid off other followers, and sent Al-Hurr (a young military leader), with a thousand men to prevent Husayn from entering any city in the area. Husayn responded to Al-Hurr by showing him the letters he had received from the Kufans and sharing his water with Al-Hurr's thirsty soldiers. Then Husayn led the entire group in prayer. He acquiesced to the order to leave and started traveling, reaching the plains of Karbala on Muharram 2nd 61 (October 2nd 680). Al-Hurr's army followed Husayn and interestingly enough, was moved to join Husayn's group where he remained throughout the battle. The next day four thousand troops showed up under the leadership of Ibn Sa'd with the purpose of making Husayn swear allegiance to Yazid before allowing him to return to Mecca. This army cut off Husayn's party from water to force them to comply; at this point Husayn asked his family and friends to leave, but they would not. Husayn told Ibn Sa'd that he wanted to leave to go to Arabia and would cause no trouble. But Ibn Sa'd had been promised another position if he got Husayn to surrender to Yazid's leadership, and if Husayn did not, Ibn Sa'd would be relieved of his position. Consequently, on October 10th, the meager army with the prophet Husayn was attacked and slaughtered by the large army accompanying Ibn Sa'd. Husayn went forward carrying his infant son in his arms and begged for water for him; the army responded by shooting the child through the throat with an arrow. Then the army converged upon Husayn and murdered him. The women and children were taken captive and the dead fighting men's heads were put on spears and paraded around Kufa. Husayn's head was eventually sent on to Yazid in Damascus. Husayn had one son left to him and his sister begged his life from the governor of Kufa. Yazid eventually released the captives, probably because he was already hurting his political position by having killed Husayn, the founding prophet's grandson. Shi'ites today interpret Husayn's actions as sacrificial. It was vital for Husayn, as the Imam and religious leader, to let himself be mistreated in order to make the statement that any ruler who governed by military force instead of by the authority of Allah was wicked. That is why this event, and therefore martyrdom, is still celebrated by Shi'ites today. Consider Ashura, the commemoration of Husayn's martyrdom, when Shi'ite men hit themselves in the forehead to make themselves bleed. "It would be difficult to exaggerate the impact and importance of the martyrdom of Husayn for Shi'ites. Although it was the usurpation of 'Ali's rights that is looked upon by Shi'ites as the event initiating their movement and giving it intellectual justification, it was Husayn's martyrdom that gave it its impetus and implanted its ideas deep in the heart of the people" (32-33, Momen). The Shi'ites are still traditionally an oppressed faction of Islam, being persecuted by the majority Sunnis. They remain less educated, poorer, and often more militant than the other groups in Islam.

One more point: brother yusufaddie Your statement fighting or trying to destroy Islam surmounts to fighting ALLAAH is a statement that is simple and yet so true and heavy. Every act against it is against ones soul for certainly nothing can harm ALLAAH. Those destined for the fire however can only rush headlong into it. Rabbana atim lana nuurana. Wa kafir cana sayyiaatana. Wa ansurna canil-qawmil-kaafirriin

Bismillaah Walxamdulillaah Wa sallaatu wa sallaam cala rasuulillaah On this, xamdiya's qoute of the quran suffices... Rabbana atim lana nuurana...Allaah perfect(complete) for us our light. To brother yusufaddie becareful not condemn the shia's lest you condemn yourself with your own tongue. Also, understand that the authentic shias do not endorse injuring oneself during these ceremonies, but like anything else some pple go over board. The purpose of the ceremony, however, is pure and well intended...it marks the darkest day in the history of the muslims. The day that the family of the rasuul scws (including infants) were massacred by those who claimed to be muslims. Imagine, like me and you these muslims conclude there prayer with...ALLAAHUMA salli cala Muxammed wa cala AALI Muxammed, Kama Sallaita cala ibrahima wa cala AALI...; or ALLAAH bless Muxammed and the family of Muxammed, the way YOU have blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham...But then went out and massacred this very family. Its the enormity of this crime which has stirred the souls of muslims sunni and shia a like. The shia's (may ALLAAH accept from them)took it one step further and said NEVER AGAIN by making this dark day forever emblazened in our concious by their ceremony and its symbols. They will never let it die until the ummaah comes to terms with this crime and we are true to what we utter daily five times in our prayer. Allaah says: Ya ayyuha almuminuun lima taquuluuna ma la tafcaluun...Oh believers why do you utter what u dont practice. So while u might criticize the excess of muslims shia or sunnis to condemn them is an entire different issue. In fact considering the state of affairs of the sunnis in this day age to criticise shias is borders on absurd. One only ask the isrealis do who do they fear more the well-armed sea of sunni muslims with weak imaan surrounding them or the otherwise lightly-armed except in imaan hizbullaah. Further the shia although 7-10% of muslims have staunchly gaurded their independence from western domination, while the current sunni states(those claiming to be islamic governments)as symbolized by Saudi Arabia cow-tows to the west and sleeps with the enemy. May 25th is the prophets birthday and it falls on a friday this year. "I am the first Prophet (s) to be created and the last one to be sent." "I was a Prophet while Adam was still between the spirit and the body." "I was a Prophet while Adam was still between water and clay" And By Ali ibn al-Husayn from his father from his grandfather said that the Prophet said: "I was a light in front of my Lord for fourteen thousand years before He created Adam. Ibn `Umar narrated that the Prophet said: "Allah the Exalted created creation in a darkness (fi zulmatin); then He cast upon them from His Light. Whoever was touched by that Light, he is guided, and whoever was missed by it is misguided. Therefore I say that the Pen is dry (and all is) in Allah's foreknowledge." Then the bearer of this light scws was born: Imaam Mutawali Sha`rawi said , " Many extraordinary events occurred in His birthday as evidenced in hadith and history, and the night of His birth is not like the night of any other human beings birth." Amr ibn Qutaiba heard his father say , "When it was time for Amina to give birth, Allah said to the Angels, " Open all the gates of Heaven, and the Gates of Paradise. The sun on that day was dressed with a great light, and in that year Allah allowed all the women on earth to conceive boys, for the sake of Muhammad (s). " Al-Khateeb AL-Baghdaadi narrates that Amina (ra) said, "When I gave birth to Muhammad (s) I saw a large illuminated cloud, wherein I heard horses neighing, wings flapping and men talking. It covered Him and He disappeared…….." Sujud of the Prophet (s) was related by Ibn Abbas when He (ra) said, "(Amina said) Then I gave Birth to Muhammad (s). Immediately He was prostrating, raising His two hands to Heaven as if in Humble Supplication." And ALLAAH said "From Allah has come to you a Light and a Book manifest." (5:15) And he said: "O Prophet! Truly We have sent you as a Witness, a Bearer of glad tidings, and a Warner, and as one who invites to Allah by His leave, and as a Lamp spreading Light." (33:45-46) "The likeness of His light is as a niche wherein is a Lamp (the lamp in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star) kindled from a Blessed Tree, an olive that is neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil well nigh would shine, even if no fire touched it; Light upon Light." (24:35) CELEBRATE AND REJOICE: the Prophet (s) said, " None of you truly believe until I become more beloved to him than his son and his father and all of creation." If u rejoice at a wedding or birth of your child or the day of your nations or another day...then rejoice in the birth of the bearer of Allaah's light, his guidance and mercy. As Allah (swt) said , "Of the favor and mercy of Allah let them rejoice" (Yunus 58). Mawlaya Salli wa sallim daiman abada cala xabiibik khayril khalqi kulihimi. Kowneyn

X-playa: You are apparently trying to make a point here, but only point you have made is that no matter how sophisticated a beast becomes in nature he remains a beast...granted sophisticated beast who speaks of logic and uses the internet. Its therefore a waist of time to speak logic to a sophisticated beast like you. Who uses the life and mercy that ALLAAH gave him to sow the seeds of hatred and misunderstanding and to chase pple from the path of ALLAAH. Those who know you, know that u post under multiple aliases and u debate urself using subjects that are inflammatory inorder to cause sickness and hatred among somalis. Has science become the refuge for sophisticated beast like you? Well know that science will not excuse your sorry existence. The day u develop a spine and integrity. The day you are truly a man of purpose with even the smallest spark of light in his soul that is the day to discuss with you logical matter. But while u remain the instrument of the devil and speak his inspiration its of no use to speak to a deaf mute beast whose heart ALLAAH has closed and who ALLAAH set on the path to the hell-fire. Guidance is from ALLAAH and if u ever become guided that is the day u will understand what I am talking about. Right now ur set on a path. May ALLAAH safeguard us from your fitna and that of every sick devil. Kowneyn [This message has been edited by Admin (edited 05-16-2002).]

At an educational institution: Professing to be wise, they became fools ... "LET ME EXPLAIN THE problem science has with God." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand. "You're a Muslim, aren't you, son?" "Yes, sir." "So you believe in God?" "Absolutely." "Is God good?" "Sure! God's good." "Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?" "Yes." The professor grins knowingly and considers for a moment. "Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help them? Would you try?" "Yes sir, I would." "So you're good...!" "Why not say that? You would help a sick and maimed person if you could in fact most of us would if we could... God doesn't." [No answer] "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Muslim who died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. How is this God good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?" [No answer] The elderly man is sympathetic. "No, you can't, can you?" He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. In philosophy, you have to go easy with the new ones. "Let's start again, young fella." "Is God good?" "Err... Yes." "Is Satan good?" "No." "Where does Satan come from?" The student falters. "From... God..." "That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? The elderly man runs his bony fingers through his thinning hair and turns to the smirking, student audience. " "I think we're going to have a lot of fun this semester, ladies and gentlemen." He turns back to the Muslim. "Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?" "Yes, sir." "Evil's everywhere, isn't it? Did God make everything?" "Yes." "Who created evil?" [No answer] "Is there sickness in this world? Immorality?" " Hatred?" "Ugliness? All the terrible things - do they exist in this world?" The student squirms on his feet. "Yes." "Who created them? " [No answer] The professor suddenly shouts at his student. "WHO CREATED THEM? TELL ME, PLEASE!" The professor closes in for the kill and climbs into the Muslim's face. In a still small voice: "God created all evil, didn't He, son?" [No answer] The student tries to hold the steady, experienced gaze and fails. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace the front of the classroom like an aging panther. The class is mesmerized. "Tell me," he continues, How is it that this God is good if He created all evil throughout all time? The professor swishes his arms around to encompass the wickedness of the world. All the hatred, the brutality, all the pain, all the torture, all the and ugliness and all the suffering created by this good God is all over the world, isn't it, young man? [No answer] Don't you see it all over the place? Huh? Pause. "Don't you?" The professor leans into the student's face again and whispers, Is God good?" [No answer] "Do you believe in God, son?" The student's voice betrays him and cracks. "Yes, professor. I do." The old man shakes his head sadly. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. You have never seen God, Have you? "No, sir. I've never seen Him." "Then tell us if you've ever heard your God?" "No, sir. I have not." "Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God or smelt your God...in fact, do you have any sensory perception of your God whatsoever?" [No answer] "Answer me, please." "No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't." "You're AFRAID... you haven't?" "No, sir." "Yet you still believe in him?" "...yes..." "That takes FAITH!" The professor smiles sagely at the underling. According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son? Where is your God now?" [The student doesn't answer] "Sit down, please." The Muslim sits...Defeated. Another Muslim raises his hand. "Professor, may I address the class?" The professor turns and smiles. "Ah, another Muslim in the vanguard! Come, come, young man. Speak some proper wisdom to the gathering." The Muslim looks around the room. "Some interesting points you are making, sir. Now I've got a question for you. "Is there such thing as heat?" Yes, the professor replies. "There's heat." "Is there such a thing as cold?" "Yes, son, there's cold too." "No, sir, there isn't." The professor's grin freezes. The room suddenly goes very cold. The second Muslim continues. You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold, otherwise we would be able to go colder than 458 - - You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. "Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it." Silence. A pin drops somewhere in the classroom. "Is there such a thing as darkness, professor?" "That's a dumb question, son. What is night if it isn't darkness? What are you getting at...?"So you say there is such a thing as darkness?" "Yes..." "You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something, it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, Darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker and give me a jar of it. Can you...give me a jar of darker darkness, professor?" Despite himself, the professor smiles at the young effrontery before him. This will indeed be a good semester. "Would you mind telling us what your point is, young man?" "Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with and so your conclusion must be in error...." "The professor goes toxic. "Flawed...? How dare you...!" "Sir, may I explain what I mean?" The class is all ears. "Explain... oh, explain..." The professor makes an admirable effort to regain control. Suddenly he is affability itself. He waves his hand to silence the class, for the student to continue. "You are working on the premise of duality," the Muslim explains. "That for example there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science cannot even explain a thought." ..."It uses electricity and magnetism but has never seen, much less fully understood them. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing." ... "Death is not the opposite of life, merely the absence of it." The young man holds up a newspaper he takes from the desk of a neighbour who has been reading it. "Here is one of the most disgusting tabloids this country hosts, professor. Is there such a thing as immorality?" "Of course there is, now look..." "Wrong again, sir. You see, immorality is merely the absence of morality. Is there such thing as injustice? No. Injustice is the absence of justice. Is there such a thing as evil?" The Muslim pauses. "Isn't evil the absence of good?" The professor's face has turned an alarming colour. He is so angry he is temporarily speechless. The Muslim continues. "If there is evil in the world, professor, and we all agree there is, then God, if he exists, must be accomplishing a work through the agency of evil. What is that work, God is accomplishing? Islam tells us it is to see if each one of us will, choose good over evil." The professor bridles. "As a philosophical scientist, I don't vie this matter as having anything to do with any choice; as a realist, I absolutely do not recognize the concept of God or any other theological factor as being part of the world equation because God is not observable." "I would have thought that the absence of God's moral code in this world is probably one of the most observable phenomena going," the Muslim replies. "Newspapers make billions of dollars reporting it every week! Tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?" "If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do." "Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?" The professor makes a sucking sound with his teeth and gives his student a silent, stony stare. "Professor. Since no-one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a priest?" "I will overlook your impudence in the light of our philosophical discussion. Now, have you quite finished?" the professor hisses. "So you don't accept God's moral code to do what is righteous?" "I believe in what is - that's science!" "Ahh! SCIENCE!" the student's face splits into a grin. "Sir, you rightly state that science is the study of observed phenomena. Science too is a premise which is flawed..." "SCIENCE IS FLAWED..?" the professor splutters. The class is in uproar. The Muslim remains standing until the commotion has subsided. "To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, may I give you an example of what I mean?" The professor wisely keeps silent. The Muslim looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen air, Oxygen, molecules, atoms, the professor's brain?" The class breaks out in laughter. The Muslim points towards his elderly, crumbling tutor. "Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain... felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professor's brain?" No one appears to have done so. The Muslim shakes his head sadly. It appears no-one here has had any sensory perception of the professor's brain whatsoever. Well, according to the rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science, I DECLARE that the professor has no brain." The Muslim sits... Because that is what a chair is for!!! Please forward to others to spread the benefit & increase reward you will get insha-allah. Do forward it to your contacts !

There was a rich merchant who had 4 wives. He loved the 4th wife the most. He adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her & gave her nothing but the best. He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He's very proud of her and always wanted to show her off to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men!! He too, loved his 2nd wife. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchant's confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times. Now, the merchant's 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her. One day, the merchant fell ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, "Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, I'll be alone. How lonely I'll be!" Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep my company? "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word. The answer cut like a sharp knife right into the merchant's heart. The sad merchant then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is so good over here! I'm going to remarry when you die!" The merchant's heart sank and turned cold. He then asked the 2nd wife, "I always turned to you for help and you've always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." The answer came like a bolt of thunder and the merchant was devastated. Then a voice called out: “ I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go!!" The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have!" Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives... The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die. Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. The 1st wife is in fact our soul. Often neglected in our pursuit of material wealth and sensual pleasure. It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go. Perhaps it's a good idea to cultivate and strengthen it now rather than to wait until we're on our deathbed to lament. Think about it................. (O mankind, Keep your duty to your Lord and fear a Day when the parent will not be able to avail the child in aught, nor the child to avail the parent. Allah's promise is the very truth. Let not the life of the world beguile you, nor let the deceiver beguile you, in regard to Allah) (Meanings from Surat Luqmaan Ayah: 33) ***************************************************************

LadyFatima: Its under the guise and the cover of such silly rambling that the devil's work is done: Fighting ignorance, freedom of speech and press etc. All u have to watch is cnn or fox to know what they mean. Presenting have truths to those who are not firmly grounded in the truth can cause confusion and doubts. To add doubts and confusion rather strengthening faith and conviction is doing the devil's work. The rasuul scws early in his mission forbade the companions from reading the torah and injiil but later in the mission didnot object to it. Because a large portion of the quraan was revealed and the companions were firmly grounded in faith. They were firmly grounded in the truth and could distinguish the truth from falsehood, Afterall these books contained elements of truth and as well as falsification. Sharing this junk has no purpose in this forum since it has nothing that even resembles the truth in it. But there is the danger of that it could add to the confusion of one struggling with his faith or on the edge. Responsible pple, who are with ALLAAH inwardly outwardly should spend their effort in bringing the muslims back to the firm ground of true faith. So u see ignorance of somethings is bliss. Knowledge is not always good. In fact, one of the prayers we inherited from the beloved of ALLAAH and the best of his creatures swcs was to ask ALLAAH for knowledge that benefits. I think it was imaam ghazali who explained this as any knowledge which draws one away the hell-fire and closer to Paradise. On the other hand he explained knowledge that does not benefit is that which causes the opposite of the above. So sister all I was saying to you was to be responsible with such junk; that is if you meant well in the first place!!! Kowneyn

Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the Holy Quran that mention > one thing is equal to another, i.e, men are equal to women. Although this > makes sense grammatically, the astonishing fact is that the number of times > the word man appears in the Quran is 24 and number of times the word woman > appears is also 24,therefore not only is this phrase correct in the > grammatical sense but also true mathematically, i.e. 24=24. > > Upon further analysis of various verses, he discovered that this is > consistent throughout the whole Quran, where it says one thing is like > another. See below for astonishing results:- > > The word number of times mentioned in Arabic Quran: > > Dunia (one name for life) 115 . Aakhirat (one name for the life after this > world) 115 > Malaika (Angels) 88 . Shayteen (Satan) 88 > Life 145 . Death 145 > Benefit 50 . Corrupt 50 > People 50 . Messengers 50 > Eblees (king of devils) 11 . Seek refuge from Eblees 11 > Museebah (calamity) 75 . Thanks 75 > Spending (Sadaqah) 73 . Satisfaction 73 > People who are mislead 17 . As > the Quran also tells tells us this. > > Please pass this on to all your friends and Muslims you know. > Read the Quraan and learn about the rasuul scws your heart if it has any goodness in it will latch on to the truth. The Quraan is the criterion or Furqaan between hearts deserving of ALLAAH's mercy and light and those too evil for such a blessing. Inshallaah we all among those who the Quraan proves as lovers of truth and justice and ALLAAH and his messengers and not those in love with darkness, satan, oppression, racism, beastiality and all the sickness that are sugar-coated in todays materialistic and utterly decadent "civil society". LadyFatima: Why share such junk with us. This stuff is meant to bring doubts in to the hearts of muslims. Its silly and amusing to the those well grounded on faith on the other hand its may be very dangerous for the weak of faith to read such stuff because it may increase satan's dominion over there heart. The rhythm is part of the miracle of Quraan specially when recited beautifully. The Quraan is a whole package meant to move you to higher concious of existence. Its supposed to change your state of existence. Its best to view it in such manner not as a musical composition but as the mercy of Allaah to his creatures. Its meant to heal your heart from evil and impurity. Those who are purified it becomes the spirit of their soul. And Allaah knows best Sallaam Kowneyn

Warsame: First the above was not mine. It was an essay written by a muslim convert who by the grace of Allaah discovered for himself that Wahhabism was a disgraceful sham that is trying to pass for true Islam. I think what we are all saying is that Hard core Wahhabism or Salafis (what an insult to the first generations or forefathers) is the refuge of hypocrites, unfortunately they have managed to fool some poor unsuspecting folks who need to be warned about the true nature of this sect. BTW, Warsame tells us (in a language we all can follow the rich history of Zaila (in religion) and educate the Nomads about it. Kowneyn

Sagal: Absolute beautiful!!! Imaan is a light and divine grace Those without it rush around blind Worthless is earthly- life for which we race How blind, deaf dumb and similar in kind All their labor will have not trace Nothing have they done to save their face except to engage in worthless chase Of illusionary life that test their faith. If I am poor and without a dime But my heart is full of this divine light Am I not the wealthiest in real time We forget this fact daily and that is a crime. Najmah: Truely heartfelt!!! keep crying and longing for ALLAAH for its not in vain To show ur love and that u long for him with pain Dont be afraid to express your love, in it there is no shame... Indhadeeq: keep it flowing!!! Kowneyn

AliSomali Alxamdulillaah Allaah has given u enough wisdom to atleast sense that there is something wrong with the state of muslims and the claim of Saud Dynasty to its leadership. Continue on this path inshallaah Allaah will guide u to the true islam, imaan and ixsan...without nifaaq. Miskiin claims he is not an abdulwahhabist yet he is stirred enough everytime someone talks about wahhabism and even puts forth claims that Saudis have been helpful to Somalis which flies in the face of logic. Others in whose heart this sickness exist claim that there is no such thing as wahhabism...the see no evil, hear no evil...the deaf, blind and dump so how will they return? Mark my words! though the tide has turned and the selfish (they call themselves salafis) beast will die a terrible death at the hands of Somalis in particular. Kowneyn

Read the article carefully: they are saying the Africans carry a different strain of HIV found mainly on the African continent, they came here infected or some came here infected and are spreading it within the community. They are also suggesting that the INS screening might not be effective to pick up this strain. How true all this claims are ALLAAH knows. But fact remains, like my brother above said fear ALLAAH and he will protect u...end of story. Kowneyn

I finally agree with something macruuf said...the ugly and evil place called somalinet.com will die inshallaah. Those who created and or participated in the hidden but the very obvious attempt disgrace and defile Somalis and their religion will face ALLAAH for judgement. Excuses will not be accepted because as our religion tells us we are all shepperds and are all responsible for that which we have been entrusted with. Somaliaonline.com inshallaah will succeed and show the real image of the original noble nomad and the light that is Islam. You have my prayers with u: the administration. I hope u succeed brilliantly. I hope also each one of us acts responsibly in using this opportunity. Salaam Kowneyn
