relax those neurons Jay, before you develope MND. 'Atheer', I'm not much of a revolutionist, so I accept/support the(your) need to avoid a hasty change. yet, I still believe some SOL restructuring is in order.

^ I found the following two articles relate to the subject, so I hope they are of benefit to the readers, Constant Awareness of Being 'Prepared' Imam Ibn ul Jawzee Islaam.Com - Tazkiyah It is a duty upon every sane person to be prepared for his departure (from this world), for one does not know when he will be served by his Lord's commands (to take away his soul) nor does he know how long it is going to be before he will be summoned (for the Day of Judgment). I have seen so many people enchanted by their youth. They have forgotten that their peers no longer exist, yet they are preoccupied with prolonged hopes (to stay alive). A person in the process of acquiring knowledge may tell himself; 'I will acquire knowledge today and will adopt it the following day.' Such (postponement) may leave him in his deviation whilst giving himself a break (for the day)! Delaying his readiness to achieve repentance, whilst exposing himself to be indulged in (sins, such as) backbiting or listening to such (backbiting) or getting involved in a Shubhah (suspected, Halaal or Haraam) matters. He hopes to cancel it out (i.e. the bad deed/s) through his would be observance, the following day, forgetting that death may be sudden. The wise one is he who values each and every moment of his life, observing one's due duties. Then, if death was to come suddenly, one would be ready (to face The Judge, Allaah subhanahu wata'aala). However, if one is granted his wish (in his life being prolonged) that would mean the increasing of (one's scale of) good deeds. ______________________________________________ Between The Past And The Future Imam Ibn ul Qayyim al Jawziyyah al-Fawaa’id, pp 151-152 Al-Istiqaamah, No. 2 Islaam.Com - Tazkiyah Your life in the present moment is in between the past and the future. So what has preceded can be rectified by tawbah (repentance), nadam (regret) and istighfar (seeking Allaah’s forgiveness). And this is something that will neither tire you, nor cause you to toil as you would with strenuous labour. Rather it is an action of the heart. Then as regards the future (then it can be corrected) by withholding yourself from sins. And this abandonment is merely the leaving of something and to be at ease from it. This also is not action of the limbs, which requires you to strive and toil. Rather this is a firm resolve and intention of the heart – which will give rest to your body, heart and thoughts. So as for what has preceded, then you rectify it with repentance. And as for the future – then you rectify it with firm resolve and intention. Neither of these involves any hardship or exertion of the limbs. But then your attention must be directed to your life in the present - the time between two times. If you waste it, then you have wasted the opportunity to be of the fortunate and saved ones. If you look after it, having rectified the two times – what is before and after it, as we have said – then you will be successful and achieve rest, delight and ever-lasting bliss. However, looking after it is harder than that which comes before and after it, since guarding it involves keeping to that which is most befitting and beneficial for your soul, and that which will bring it success and well-being.

U.S. Ambassador in Iraq a ceremony held infront of one of Saddam Husain's old palaces, the U.S. troops handing over the palace to the 'Iraqis'.

^ already calling for an apology eh? the reason I supported the idea was for two reasons; 1. the Men forum - I'm not a regular in the Women section, but I sensed the patience and hospitality of some sisters is being tested. So if the ladies ask a new Galool to be planted for the Eagles that soar over their huts, I'm all for it. 2. and for the Business section, Athena, I don't think the students section motivates enough members, specially the $-wise elders, to discuss the issues relating to Business and Finances, an Issue that is very important to the community. this is an Idea to be discussed, so I hope the admins think over these issues and see if some restructuring needs to be done. I also recall another member asking for a Health section not long ago. The new year is around the corner, so I only desire to see a more productive and effectice SOL, for the benefits of all the nomads.

Nur, although I still don't have all the data, & I do understand the reason for withholding that information, never the less I will try and put my thoughts in the oven. My advice is this: The kids should become the center of focus here, and the final answer shall be in their best interst, not that of the Aabe, Hooyo or Aaayo to be. The best hope for the kids is for Hooyo and Aabe to stay together, but I'm missing a crucial info here, so you know better the chance of this result. As for Haliimo II, unless she bends and is willing to accept a polygamous relationship, I would cross her off the equation, she'll thank you in Aakhirah. just get a clear picture of what we are after: SMILING KIDS now add the necessary ingredients and start baking, continue baking, changing the ingredients as wisdom suggests, untill you get the best possible cake, but remember the kids should get the first bite! I believe it is the responseablity of parents to sacrifice for their children, and I am certain that sacrifice can become a great deal of pleasure for both of the parents. so I leave it up to you to bring about that paradigm shift in them aswell.

I support both of these suggestions. the Men's Forum will be very interesting how it turns out, I fear ICBMs may replace the current jujutsu matches between the two new 'Camps'. never the less, I think the sisters have been far too hospitable and deserve to have some of their space back. this will cool both camps down, I hope. as for the Business forum, it came into my mind couple of times, it is a sound idea.

Xiin, time will tell sxb, I fear it will take another ain jalut to reload the system once again. be warned tho, this time may be the last!

^ If as a result of a hasty decision due to the influence of 'Love', the first wife leaves the equation, what do we have? knowledge cultivated gives birth to wisdom (doing or saying the right thing at the right time at the right place). more data is needed.
-
Nur, I think the 'Love' sting somehow damaged the faarah's nervous system, I advice he be seated, given some water so we can explore his situation. I will leave it to you and the members to prepare a detailed questionnaire for the Faarah, before the Nasiha is given.

Sons of Genghis Khan roll out the red carpet for Bush From Jane Macartney in Beijing DESCENDANTS of Genghis Khan, the man who conquered half the world in the 13th century, rolled out the red carpet yesterday for the most powerful man of the 21st century. Buffeted by fierce criticism at home over his Iraq policies, Mr Bush saluted Mongolia’s troops taking part in the military coalition there. He paid tribute to two soldiers who shot a suicide lorry bomber before he could strike a mess tent in Iraq. Mongolia’s force of 130 in Iraq makes it, with its population of 2.8 million, the third-largest contributor per capita to the coalition. “US armed forces are proud to serve beside such fearless warriors,†Mr Bush said. Mongolia’s soldiers in Iraq serve within the Polish-led division and their work is confined largely to construction and logistics outside the town of Hilla. The last Mongolian forces to go to Iraq, led by a grandson of Genghis Khan in 1258, sacked Baghdad and killed an estimated 800,000 people. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3-1882353,00.html ---------------------- the pains of history qofkii og baa damqan! اللهÙمَّ أَعÙزَّ الإÙسْلامَ وَالمÙسْلÙÙ…Ùينَ، ÙˆÙŽØ£ÙŽØ°Ùلَّ الشّÙرْكَ وَالمÙشْرÙÙƒÙينَ وَدَمّÙرْ أَعْدآءَ الدّÙين٠وَاØْم٠Øَوْزَةَ الإسْلام٠يَا رَبَّ العَالَمÙينَ

Ahha! but you ment man eats goat(uncooked) that is natural, for if it is cooked - 'something else' enters the equation..right?
