  1. I predict 3-2 for Liverpool Kuyt 2 & Gerrard 1 for Liverpool all Liverpool goals in the second half
  2. Nomad do you write your own stuff? I need to get back to work too, I waste too much time on SOL. Xanthus see you around, in the mean time write a song for all those females struggeling ( as if females don't have enough songs, when will a farax be appreciated? ) Nomad we will battle another time North
  3. This one is for Nomad Visions occupy my synaptic's space Command and shake, to illustrate my mind's landscape The tall grass, the low plains, the mountanous ridges Thickets among the forests, rivers beneath the bridges Presence of hilltops, lit up with tree tops Eavesdrop; and hear the incline of sunshine, nine Stones in orbit, refuse to forfeit They all form a cipher, and they came to observe it I follow suit, and face it, embrace it Shinin bright, but still I'm careful not to waste it Destined to rise, because I'm basement adjacent Spirit is still so just chill and be patient Some heads approach like I'm the one to base with Clowns about, screamin but don't say shit Xanthus - lets not refer the secessionist entity as a hysterical female. Waa rag rag ah nooh , they might get offended by your in appropriate anology.
  4. The streets is watchin me, I watch back, that's the policy Movin along my oddesey like blood through the artery Navigate the treacherous and make it seem effortless
  5. So the black star in the secessionist enities flag stands for the 'demise' of United Somalia, while the white star in the Somali Flag stands for the unity and brotherhood of the Somali nation. Hmmm that black star is kinda negative wouldn't you say?
  6. Hi Vicky Pollard, Poseidon gave the two horses to King Peleus of Phtia, as a wedding gift, when Peleus married the Ocean goddess Thetis. Peleus later gave the horses to his son Achilles who took them to draw his chariot during the Trojan War. Book XVI of the Iliad tells us that Achilles had a third horse, Pedasos (maybe "Jumper", maybe "Captive"), which was yoked as a "trace horse", along with Xanthus and Balios. Achilles had captured Pedasos when he took the city of Eetion. Pedasos was mortal, but he could keep up with the divine horses. Sarpedon, prince of Lycia and ally of Troy, killed Pedasos when his spear missed Patroclus. Achilles' comrade-in-arms Patroclus used to feed and groom the horses. In the Iliad, it is told how, when Patroclus was killed in battle, Xanthus and Balius stood motionless on the field of battle, and wept. In Iliad XVII, 590, Automedon, Achilles' charioteer, states that only Patroclus was able to fully control these horses. When Xanthus was rebuked by the grieving Achilles for allowing Patroclus to be slain, Hera granted Xanthus human speech which broke Divine law , saying that a god had killed Patroclus, and that a god would soon kill Achilles too. After this, the Erinyes struck the horse dumb. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balius
  7. @ Xanthus - So you didn't get all the horse jokes? I am very dissapointed. Google your name Xanthus, in Greek mythology Xanthus was a talking horse.
  8. @ Xanthus - Ouch, that one backfired I am just a username with views keep that in mind, don't be annoyed, I am just messing about. I hope there are no hard feelings. Carrot? North - waa maro aad u qurux badan sali ka dhigo.
  9. ^ Why be annoyed? I am just a screenname with views. Nothing to be annoyed about. A question do horses have big teeth?
  10. No worry I will bring her home safely, eedo. Its all shax shax. Ps. Yaa noogu ilka dhaareer?
  11. Originally posted by Xanthus: ^^Nope I was just giving you an alternative as to why you are knocking on a wall, total break down of communication..... You do know they don't sit in front of computer all day and all night waiting for you to post a thread  Well you do
  12. Mee aamusine, waa la aamusiyay! I see you have reclaimed your old position as the spokesperson of the secessionist cause.
  13. I will keep it at me, but the supporters of the secessionist entity can refer me as me the secessionist myth slayer Ps. Hmmmm, this high horse I am on is boring me maybe I should get a talking horse.
  14. Lady & Gentleman, so you both have conceded and all along I thought you had it in you to make it a bit harder for me. Badacase, Ayoub, Lander, Qudhac, Oodweyne and many more have all eaten dust before you. So who is left? Back in the days some would attempt to 'present' some case but ever since every thing that they brought forward was brought down, they don't even try it. me the secessionist myths slayer Ps. hmmmm, I wish you folks knew how it feels to be on the high horse. Originally posted by Xanthus: Giidaar loomaa sheekeyo, I know Gidaarka waa la dumiyaa. and so far no one is stopping me bringing that wall down.
  15. 1. Ilaahay ha u naxariisto halgamayaashii xoriyo ilaalinta Soomaaliyeed ee Daraawiish. 2. It is sad to see that the legacy of the Daraawiish is being abused to push for certain ideas. The Daraawiish were a Somali National Movement against colonialism, people please lets not turn it into 'clan' propoganda tool.
  16. Originally posted by me: Sleep tight dear ps. I should open a debating school for you folks. It's getting silly now, I mean, work together, PM each other, form a united front against me hold meetings anything will ya. Write petitions to the admin to ban me, kill me like Oodweyne suggested. Ignore me, just do something. It is weakness to run away everytime that the debate doesn't go your way. I mean Ayoub & Badacase surely you must have a case to argue for. For the past 18 pages allot of folks have TRIED and failed to find flaws in my reasoning and the case I am presenting. I give you folks who are arguing for secession the chance to bring forward your case so that we can debate about that. This is an invitation folks, not accepting this invitation can be seen as that you have no case. So don't let this opportunity go past you by. Its now 20 pages , yet no one of the supporters of the secessionist cause has come forward to accept my invitation. Five of you folks tried to argue against the case for Somalinimo and the five of you failed. So since you can't bring down the case for Somalinimo, how about we discuss the case of the secessionist entity (if there is any). People the floor is yours bring forward your case. No mud slinging, no BS just the real thing, lets discuss the underlying issues, lets discuss what the real reasons are why you want my people to seperate from the rest of the Somali nation. Maybe this is a deliberate provocation in the eyes of Xanthus. It is only logical that since you folks can't bring the case for Somalinimo down after 20 pages of discussion, that we should discuss the case for secession, maybe thats where the flaw is. Ps. Don't be scared, I don't need bullets to make my point.
  17. Badacase geesi xabada kama baqdid miyaa? hadii aadan ka baqayn maanta Miiniyabolis maadan joogteen. So Badacase you had a gun? who did you kill your gun with? or was it just for show? Xanthus, I see you two made up again
  18. ^ I am not boycoting the achievements of the people of Hargeysa, I am against the secessionists and those who are using qabyaalad for their narrow minded goals. So keep that in mind will ya. I am suggesting that all the people of Hargeysa should be able to live in peace without fear of intimidation, I am saying that we should strenghten the achievements of the people and that we should stop those that want to create divisions amongs its people. Thats where Somalinimo comes into play. What I have done for Somalinimo? ilaah baa og. I am not afraid of the people of Hargeysa, I am afraid of getting shot by those who use qabyaalad as a political weapon (they happen to be in charge in Hargeysa these days you know). So my deamon is that bullet and I rather not face that bullet, if you would like to know who it feels to be gunned down. Tenacious posted a nice video, please check it out and tell me whether you would like to face that deamon.
  19. Someone should think about the future, if everyone is settling for what we have today then we will never move forward. Its like telling the black people in Apartheid South Africa in 1986 that they should settle for their situation. Or telling the people in British-India that they should settle to live under colonialism. Why should we tell the Somali people to accept their situation and 'learn to live with it'. I believe that we should make our lives better and the lives of the next generation, people lets not shy away from our responsibilities. We can change Somalia for the better. If these dictators/warlords and thugs can break down Somalia, we are more then capable to rebuild it and guarantee its survival and prosperity.
  20. ^ Thank you for answering my question, was it hard? Now that you have said that you would Idealy live in a free, fair and just society, why are you syaing I should not pursue for our people what we both have agreed that would be the be the ideal society? If this ideal society that we want does not exist today, then I believe that we should create it. We are men and woman and god has given us free will to decide, choose and make. Lets make that ideal society. They told Ghandi that ideally it would be good if India was free, they told Mandela that ideally blacks in South Africa could have the same rights, but realisticly its not possible. I say to you Xanthus, nothing is impossible. We can change Somalia and we can create our ideal society. ps. Yes I am comparing myself to Ghandi and Mandela.
  21. ^ Xanthus, don't dance around the question, it was a direct question so answer it. Would you rather live in a city where you are in fear of intimidation for your views or even for clan reasons or would you rather live in a in a free, fair and just society (regardless whether it exists or not) ? Its a direct question and a direct answer would be appreciated.
  22. Originally posted by Northerner: Me, Where is this intimidating city where people are killed for being of another clan? It happens in all over Somalia including my hometown Hargaysa. ps. I never had so many friends as I have today on SOL
  23. Originally posted by Xanthus: quote: Edit: and to finish you sentance. I can't live in Hargaysa because of qabiil reasons and qabyaalad. Well here is a few rules to avoide this problem. 1) Do not write your qabiil on your forehead, or wear a top that says "Bring Siyad back" 2) Hang around with old men 3)Avoid Ciiyaal suuq 4) Don't insult anyone or be rude. Now if my White friend can go to work in Hargansia for 3months and come back well and allive i don't see why a somali should have a problem. 5) Fuuleenimaad isska daah, you will not die before your time or after it for that matter. Then you should be fine When you suggest that I should stay away from old men, ciyaal suuq, I shouldn't speak my mind and that I should not make from what clan I am public ( lol...keep that a secret in Hargeysa ) for what reasons are you giving me advice if its not to avoid intimidation? Plus you haven't answered my question. Would you rather live a city where you are intimidated where you are in constant fear or would you live in a free, fair and just society where you would be able to wear the T-shirt of your favorite thug, without thinking someone will shoot me?
