  2. Originally posted by Stealth: mr. me, (saved you for last). Saaxib, the Somaliland leadership needs to change, Riyale needs to go, a better Muslim, leader who is working for the mere interests of the people not EThiopia is something I hope to see. For people to get along, live together, being happy is something we all want, it's God given right in that sense. I am saying and my position is whether we are under two different flags or Presidents we can STILL have one objective, we can have one interest, we can help each other against the enemey of both of you and I. This is union in different perspective. We can be allies against those who try to harm any somali anywhere. I know that EThiopia doesn't care whether we( you and I) are from Hargeysa as oppose to the ones in Xamar or else where, I know that, and I am fully aware. Thats no reason for secession ( I see that you are still trying to justify the existance of the secessionist entity and the secessionist idea). We can do all this in a more effective way in a democratic, free, fair and just Somali state, where the rights of all sections of the Somali society are guaranteed. Why shouldn't we work towards that goal, instead of taking half measures that are actually getting us further away from the solution? 1. A united Somalia would be able to defend its interests in the region, two or more allied mini-states would actually be weaker then one unitory state. 2. Economic intergration between the Somali regions in good for all Somali regions and in a united Somali state in would only come natural. 3. How can we divide our people with such a flimsy case? 4. There are needless high tensions between the people of Northern Somalia, that could soon escalate to a full war if the secessionists push for war. That would also mean that the admirable peace that the entity has enjoyed for the last decade or so and its fruits could be lost. My advice to the secessionist entity and its leadership is come to the negotiating table and lets work our minor differneces out.

  4. Doesn't matter, try to get the ball-rolling on your end. Anyone in London interested in this project please contact Paragon.
  5. ^I don't know man, I am saying we should organize one. Somewhere early August. Half the Somalis in the west would be vacationing in London anyways. Its just an idea, pass it through. There are some low key SYL anniversaries celebrations overhere too today.
  6. a bit of topic, but how about a Somali youth peace conference? London this summer would be an ideal place.
  7. I knew you would be the first to come in with guns-a-blazing as I said before bilaa fariin.

  11. ^You had 16 years to say that, the time for the anti-Somali groups is over. Its our turn now. So iska aamus and see how its done. whether you like it or not Somalia wey midoobeysaa.
  12. Badacase well done. You have made my point for me. The TFG and the secessionist mafia are the same and are of the same caliber, both treasonous entities that are in the pockets of our enemies with the mission of dividing our people.
  13. Originally posted by Castro: We're all united in occupation people. While you're arguing over the insignificant Somaliland and even less significant Sool, Sanaag and Cayn, here's the larger picture: 1) NFD (occupied by Kenya since 1964) 2) Oggadeen (occupied by Ethiopia since 1948) 3) Somaliland (occupied* by Ethiopia since 1991) 4) Puntland (occupied* by Ethiopia since some time in the 90's, exact time unclear) 5) Southern Somalia (occupied by Ethiopia since 2006) 6) Djibouti (Occupied by the US since 2002) * The occupations of Somaliland and Puntland have resulted in little resistance to the occupation and, therefore, are unofficial. So anyone who's having wet dreams of Somalinimo and unity needs to chew on this. SSC kulahaa. What myopia! I have realized that you and NGONGE have one thing in common. Are you two on a mission to kill hope? You keep talking about Somalinimo and unity as if they are some disease. Why don't you come up with alternatives instead of being commentators that are always looking negatively at the situation. The situation is far from perfect, but its only a challenge that many Somalis are willing to take on. The Somali nation might be under occupation by qabyaalad, but we will prevail. Ogow anagaa guusha leh. You chew on that, with your defeatist talk.
  14. A question for you paragon, where do the borders of one clan end and the borders of others start?
  15. Originally posted by Cara: quote:Originally posted by Che-Guevara: quote: most parts of Sanaag as well, however they would be overwhelmed by the majority of votes coming from Hargeysa, Awdal, Togdheer, saaxil, therefore I am afraid seccession would go into effect. If it is majority vote that would decide the faith of Somaliland, then just referendum would have to extend into Somalia proper since Somaliland is legaly part of Somalia. How do you figure that? Usually a referendum on secession is held only in the region considering such a move. A Somalia-wide referendum hardly seems justifiable. Well since the SSC is not considering 'such a move' then there will be no referendum in that region. So there will be a Somalia wide referendum or there will be no referendum at all. The division of Somalia is a move that will affect all Somalis and therefore all Somalis should get the right to vote on such an important issue. If the secessionist mafia is not open to reason well then the options will be very limited.

  22. If Ebyan was banned then admin is getting out of control. Sooner or later we need to discuss qabyaalad and how it affects us. Not being able to discuss qabyaalad in a a civalized manner is actually undermining the debate. Qabyaalad is that pink elephant in the living room.
