  1. How about graduate, work for couple of years then start a business. Instead of being a wage slave forever. Or don't study at all and start an own business, working for other people is a waste of time and energy. So advice her to either finish her school, get some work experience and start an own business or just drop out and start an own business. There is no other option, or be forever unemployed or under employed

Somalis will forever be pitiful losers. Come on Rahima, when will you ever learn. Whydo you have to generalize all Somalis? Why are you associating all things bad with Somalis, but when Somalis do good thingsyou never say. 'Somalis kick majot a$$' Rahima, you are a trcky one, but you get what I am saying Associating bad things with 'Somalia' or the 'Somalis' won't solve anything, it will actually make people feel even more demoralized about their race. So in the future talk about the person alone without dragging a whole nation through the mud for the actions of one individual. Thank you
  4. Removing Geedi is a positive step. He is good for nothing, corrupt and an Ethiopian spy.

Soldarity Oromia. Somalis and Oromo's are brotherly peoples and all Somalis support the struggles of the Oromo people for their freedom and peace.
  6. Xalane, They already have Western Somalia, how about even if they don't invade we still go there and get our land they they have occupied for 100 years back. Whatever happens it will be war and they will loose.
  7. Yo Yo, Somalia has always been Congo. Libiya, Ethiopia, Italy, Eriteria, Kenya, USA, Germany, UK, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Iran and many others have supported one or more Somali factions in the civil war, so we have always been Congo. Now the latest players are. The Westledby the USA versus islamist elements and Ethiopia versus Eriteria Hmmm I wonder when Sudan will join? I know the other Arabs will. The Somalis will be the ones that loose out, it will be our country that gets destroyed even more and our civilians that will die. Anyhow welcome to the congo ( REM song i think) Somalia has become a Rent-A-Battlefield for foreign armies

  12. This is funny. I said I said before, I am waiting for Riyaale Kaahin and when he switches. Keep on switching peoples , I am just wondering how some people can believe these people?
  13. Mr.Red Sea, you are as hypocritical as the rest so don't be pretending to be any different my friend.
  14. Mr.Red Sea, how far is Buuhoodle from Burco? wheren't you and your mate Gediid teaching Amharic? lets hope it helps you now.
  15. General come on man, are you not the one saying that you are against Ethiopians coming into Somalia and that the Ethio's will bring more harm then stability. Why are you so willing to deny the Ethiopian presence and call it a tactic by the ICU? It is the TFG that invited them not the ICU. If the ICU is a one clan faction then they are talking in a language that all Somalis understand. What has the TFG done in all that time? they have been in place for 2 years, what have they done? In my opinion the Ethiopian meddling in our country is wrong and all Somalis should condenm it. The TFG and the ICU should workout their problems in a peaceful manner. If the TFG chooses to use force and install a government with Ethiopian help, then expect a very popular war against the TFG and its sponsors. I willbe on the side that is fighting for Somali sovereignty.
  16. Somalia’s Islamic Courts may lead to an Islamic Renaissance (Wardheernews) Ali H. Abdulla July 2nd, 2006 Dr. Omar Abdul Kafi is an Egyptian Islamic scholar who is very popular all over the world. He projects the image of a progressive Muslim who uses his irresistible charm, logic and in-depth understanding of Islamic history to appeal to a wide audience usually put off by pseudo scholars who rely on rhetoric and demagogy to invite people to Islam. His friendly style, elegant demeanour and modern attire make him one of the most popular Islamic scholars of today. He is at par with scholars like Tareq Suweidan, Omar Khalid, Hamza Yusuf and Mukhtar Magrawi. These scholars strive to re-awaken true Islam and bring back the golden times enjoyed by Muslims when western nations were still in caves. When we evaluate members of the Islamic Courts and try to make sense of their sudden rise to power and their still unknown plans for Somalia, we should stack them up against these illustrious scholars. We may discover that most of them fall far short of such illustrious names. However, I am sure that there might be some among them who might measure up. Although he is not an elegant dresser like Dr. Abdul Kafi, the Sharif seems to be a man who can appeal to most Somalis, while Sheikh Awes may seem to many as a hardliner who may lead Somalia to more strife and bloodshed. I may be wrong in my analysis but this seems to be the overwhelming consensus. Most members of the group studied in Saudi Arabia or Sudan and may have Wahabi tendencies that are alien to the Somali people. Apart from chasing the abhorrent warlords from Mogadishu, some of them seem to be hung up on superficial things like banning the public from watching soccer games and videos. This does not mean that they are not justified in banning any movies that may corrupt our people such as X-rated movies. They are also justified in banning alcohol and the cursed Kat, two things that destroy our young people. I hope that they can also add cigarettes to the list, a harmful substance that the West is trying to get rid off and export to our shores causing us cancer and many other fatal illnesses. Despite their shortcomings, the leaders of the ICU should realise that they have a golden opportunity to not only save Somalia, but to also achieve the dreams of every Muslim in this world. Dreams that relive the glorious times of Islamic civilizations that made great strides in the areas of science, art, architecture and many other wonderful achievements enjoyed by the world today. Given the sad situation of our country, there is a need to bring back discipline and respect for the rule of law. Fair, nationalistic, God-fearing leaders with whom we can all identify, can achieve these goals; leaders who can look at the big picture and stand up above the mundane things that can divide us; leaders who shun clan affiliations and avoid the cursed 4.5 formula forced upon us in Djibouti and Nairobi; leaders who have not forgotten the missing land stolen away from us and handed over to our enemies; leaders who can reclaim these lands peacefully through tireless and sincere negotiations. The Islamic courts are justified in their rejection of the Ethiopian presence in Somalia. Every Somali who has an iota of dignity rejects their presence and interference in our affairs. However, to get the overwhelming support of Somalis, the ICU should prove to the Somali people and the whole world that they are not going to govern Somalia like the Afghanistan of the Taliban. We are fed up with wars and bloodshed. We need to start a period of stability, economic growth and great contributions to our society and the world. We are in the 21st century and we lag behind the whole world in everything. We are at the bottom of every United Nations ranking of nations be it education, health, income etc. We have a long way to go, and we should not waste this opportunity by starting a war between the ICU and the TFG. We all know that the TFG does not represent Somalis since they are not elected. So are the ICU members. I do not recall any elections that brought them to where they are today. Chasing the warlords does not give them the right to impose their will on the Somali people. The two unelected blocks need to sit down to hammer out their differences and pave the way for national elections. The TFG is in its last throes, having less than two and a half years left of its mandate. They should be allowed to complete this mandate in peace. There should also be guarantees to dispel the fears of the Islamic Courts who do not trust Abudllahi Yusuf and his Ethiopian allies. The Sudan negotiations are meant to address these issues and the TFG needs to attend in good faith. When fair elections come, there is no doubt that the ICU will win if they prove themselves worthy in these negotiations and steer Somalia to safe shores. The Islamic courts should not give the enemy a chance to destroy them in their infancy. They should avoid giving ammunition to Muslim hating individuals like J. Peter Pham, an opportunist who is trying to use Somalia as a stepping-stone to scholarly recognition. He unashamedly lobbies for the dismemberment of Somalia and uses the rise of the ICU to power as an excuse. The whole world has acknowledged the effectiveness of the ICU in getting rid of the warlords and are monitoring their next move. I hope that such a move will prove mercenaries like Pham wrong. The ICU should use common sense and avoid any thing that can bring misery, division and more bloodshed to our country. Let us all hope that they can lead Somalia to a period of great prosperity, and trigger the Islamic Renaissance awaited by Muslims all over the world. Ali H. Abdulla E-Mail:aliegeh@gmail.com
  17. General I understand your situation. My advice is once again this mob is dangerous. They have the two ingredients that motivate Somalis. 1. Hate for Xabashi 2. Religion. With these two they will get very very far. I am in no way or from pro ICU. but when I see Ethiopian soldiers marching in the soil of the Somali republic, I will choose to ignore these small political differences and fight on the side of those willing to defend our nation. History will only judge. I understnad your position and I respect it but understand that it is never too late to change your mind. When you realize that you are wrong on this issue of the Xabash.
  18. This article is more a secessionist propaganda then it is anti-ICU. The author is painting a picture that the secessionist entity is a country and that the ICU are threatening it. With this piece the author wants to win friends in the west. By using an article written in the defence of the secessionists you are recognizing them. Whether you believe in these loonies or not sometimes you should stay away from certain arguments. The points that the author raised are doing the ICU no justice. Yes the ICU is mostly supported by people from a certain clan, but look into the history of this organization. You might be surprised. The real leadership of the ICU is not Aways or Shariif Ahmed. The brainwashing bit happens everywhere, the Abdiqasim bit was already widely known. Indhacade and his warlordism well we allknow the evilshe gets up to. Anyhow this is pointless; you feel that you need to defend yourself against the pro-ICU folks. My advice to you is. Join the anti-ethio group and be the loudest to shout. Get a Somali flag avatar. Condemn the Ethio’s coming into our country. If you keep on going like this, no one will believe you anymore, you will loose your credibility. So if you want to be able to get you message across, ride this nationalist wave instead of condemning it, if you try to be against this wave you will loose, the TFG has been outmanoeuvred don’t be outmanoeuvred yourself. Think about this, a cocktail of nationalism and religion is very dangerous; people from all sides of the country are supporting or are sympathetic to the ICU now. In my opinion this situation in Somalia has the potential to set everything and everybody on fire. No one is safe from it. I tell you when this starts don’t be on the wrong side.
  19. Ooh General calm down man. No need to get angy. You were wrong, there is nothing wrong with admitting that you were wrong. General I remmember you saying that Ethiopian troops in Somalia was a mistake, do you still believe that? or have you changed your mind? About me fighting in Somalia, don't worry I am already packing.
  20. General by the fact that it is a secessionist propaganda, that is the bit that I didnt like and I expected that you would see that its propoganda, but carry on with da cyber civil war. Any means necessery I guess
  21. Originally posted by OLOL: isn't this a sick hypocrisy from a devout clannish cheerleader Yes its funny how hypocritical clan cheerleaders can be -General, first you deny Ethiopian troops in Somalia and now you are posting secessionist propoganda. Keep up the good work
  22. General I was just watching BBC News 24 and they showed pictures of Ethiopian tanks in Somalia. When will you accept that they are in Somalia. Reuters said it Al Jazeera AP BBC Well General, you are wrong in this one so please accept when you are wrong. Burrying your headin the sand will not solve this thing. You are being out manouvered on this one. You kepy them at bay for a long long time, don't let this issue take youdown.
  23. General I am in no way or form an honest broker. I am a part of the conflict and I have my own agenda. So for the sake of peace we need an honest broker that can be trusted by all parties. General who would you like to nominate as an honest broker? This hypocracy from all sides needs to stop. Too many cross dressers in here.
  24. hahahah@genral it was worth a try . General what is your opinion of ending this cyber civil war? Do you think there is any chance we can stop this war on SOL?
