Infidels don't trust their puppets, force them to appoint UK accountancy firm
me replied to Shaakirullaah's topic in Politics
Originally posted by LayZie G.: Me, don't you dare sing the "what kind of a sovereignty does this TFG claim to have" tune. Firstly, TFG does not enjoy its sovereignty over its internal and external affairs. You hit the nail on its head Layzie and since the TFG does not have sovereignty over its internal and external affairs it should not call itself a government. The TFG is not Somalia's government. -

Xiin, What does me living anywhere got to do with the colonial actions we see? What kind of a sovereignty does this TFG claim to have if PWC is checking the receipts? Why don't we hire Accenture and KPMG also to run the ministries? Why not outsource the whole F'ing government? i.e. Bring back the colonists? And you are concerned about where I live......that is sad....really sad. You keep reaching new depts. -

Is it me or does this have COLONIALISM written all over it? -
Xiin, Your hide and seek game is boring. Get on with it already. I was of the opinion that this thread was intended as a dialogue and not a monologue. So if you don't have anything to add, say so and we can close it down, or alternatively you can man up and use this thread to share your opinions, instead of asking silly predictable questions. I have done my initial post on the topic of discussion. Now it is your turn. Do not disappoint the good SOL public.

Then comes in Alshabab and invades peacefull neighbourhoods Invades? So the liberation and the efforts for the unification of our nation under one government is invasion? I haven't seen you use such harsh words against the Ethiopians who are in Hiiraan. The Somali people are in the process of forging a nation Meiji. Neighborhood militias, clan fiefdoms, isbaaros, corrupt politicians, warlords....TFG bandits, nothing of the old order will be left. The liberation of neighborhoods from the TFG bandits is a part of the process. Do you want the current divisions in Mogadishu to exist or do you want that the city comes under one administration?
-
Meiji, As we can agree there is a war going on at the time and there are intense battles. The aid agencies are not capable of delivering aid to those that need it the most due to the circumstances. The machinery and material are kept in stores, while the people are suffering. The opposition forces have procured these materials in order to help the civilians and the war effort. It would have been better if the aid agencies could continue their work, however the circumstances do not permit them and because of that the opposition forces who are responsible for the civilians living in the areas under their control are forced to take drastic actions in order to safe lives. Bundling the resources of the community for the war effort is one of those measures. The TFG bandits on the other hand are in total disarray and they are attacking civilians and exhorting them for personal gain. The TFG bandits are criminals operating under the licence of the Sharif Government. They should be stopped from harming the civilian population.
-
Meiji, There is a difference between procuring material for the war effort and robbing civilians and exhorting small businesses. I believe that you can see the difference between the two. The opposition forces have procured idle machinery and material for the war effort. The opposition has not targeted civilians, but is using the material to help the civilians that are now in the areas under their control. The TFG forces on the other hand are clearly exhorting small businesses and robbing civilians. The TFG forces are ill disciplined thugs. Their officers are engaged in get quick rich schemes. The rumor has it that these officers want to use the money they exhort from the civilians to flee the country. The opposition is bundling the resources of the community for the war effort, while the TFG bandits are clearly engaged in criminal acts. I hope that you can see the difference between the two.

We have al seen how the opposition forces are bringing criminals to court. Plenty of threads have been started here on SOL about that. Now we see how the TFG bandits are robbing civilians in the few neighborhoods they still control. The difference between the two sides is clear. The opposition forces have a zero tolerance policy in place, whereas the TFG minister’s own guards are robbing civilians.

Panic has struck the work place. Someone here called in today that they have swine flu. Its only a matter of time now.
-
What are the signs and symptoms of this virus in people? The symptoms of novel H1N1 flu virus in people are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting. Also, like seasonal flu, severe illnesses and death has occurred as a result of illness associated with this virus.

Norf, Your questions are understandable since you have not even thought about the problem before you started waving the sharifite flag. In due time all will be clear for you. In the mean time you are expected on the Somali Empire thread.
-
To the SOL public, What is at stake here today is the credibility of the Sharifite camp of SOL. Just as the secessionist supporters, the pirate boys, the TFG supporters and other Ethio sympathizers have bitten the dust. The day has come that the Sharifites of SOL are held accountable for their views. No stone will be left unturned. No quarter will be given. No surrender will be accepted. To Xiin, You can not evade your responsibility. You asked me to join this thread; I have posted my view, now it is your turn to do the same thing. It is obvious to the readers that you are trying to play hide and seek. Man up and step up to the plate. The floor is yours. To Norf, You are expected to share your vision on the Somali Empire thread as you had promised.

If Ethiopia is successfully defeated and driven out of the country, then the question is, what awaits Somalia that will find itself under multiple factional controls within compartmentalized territories? Another bout of twenty or fourty year old ideological civil way? Such a future is what worries me most, even more than the current TFG and Ethiopian occupiers. Now, at the present time, what we must start planning for is the sort of structural frameworks for stability and governance will be in place in post-occupation Somalia. I strong hold the view that it was our failure to plan ahead is what has led us into civil war, before even Siad Bare was ousted from power. And surely, that mistake has precipitated current Ethiopian occupation. Do we wish to repeat the same mistake? I hope not. As someone who has put a great deal of thought and effort into gaining some insight into our current condition, and the prospects of the future that awaits our nation, my advice is this: be visionary, think beyond today in order to catch a glimpse of the bigger picture while still paying attention to history. 1. What planning took place or is happening now that you have put all your eggs in Sharif Ahmed's basket? It seems to me that you have already resigned your believes and handed over your critical thinking to Sharif's TFG and downgraded yourself to a mere cheerleader. 2. Whether Ethiopia does something or whether America convinces her not to do something is not of Somali concern since these countries only think of their own national interest. What concerns me is that our nation has a government that leans on its own people for support and not one that leans on foreign countries. 3. Thinking of the big picture you described above does not mean throwing overboard principles and substituting pragmatism for policy. Rollover and play dead doesn't work in the real world. ps. Japan went through many periods of civil war the longest period was the Sengoku period 1467–1615. So Japan also went through a period of restructuring and negotiation with its national identity before the results you mentioned were visible.

Xiin, the central issue of Somali conflict---alshabaab ! Are you serious here? What do you take us for when you come rubbish like that? War ku noqo! Come with a serious reply.
-
Xiinow, The Somali world has changed and as such our world view must adapt with it. The Somalia of 1990 is gone, it is dead and buried. Nothing has taken its place, because the process of negotiation with the future of our nation is still in progress. We are in a process of elimination, one faction after another is biting the dust, one myth after another is debunked, and one idea after another is proven unworkable. At the same time our nation is changing rapidly; we are going through a metamorphosis. The land we used to know is no longer there, where there were trees now it is dessert, where there were small settlements now there are cities, where there were nomads now there are unemployed town dwellers. The truths and believes that constructed our world are no longer there. Our way of life is shattered. Our culture is in shock. In short our nation is in a state of confusion. What is happening here? What is going on? Why are all these changes happening all at once? Why did our economy, our culture, our political system even our believes come crashing down on us all at once? My answer is a tsunami has been unleashed, a volcano erupted and forces of change came into being. These forces have a dynamic of their own and they are destroying the old orders. The old systems, these forces are in essence agents of development instead of destruction. To use your words they are agents deploying Slash-and-burn tactics. The Shabab will be one of the many factions that will rise and fall in Somalia; I do not believe that they will be the final group that will end the Somali War. But what they will do is carry on the flame of the Islamist Revolution of 2006. They will create the environment needed for the next paradigm shift. It is the job of the Shabab to get us to the next stage. The TFG on the other hand are trying to preserve a dying order. They want to institutionalize the clan. They want to go begging to donor countries, they want to accept the parameters that have been given to them. In essence the TFG stands in the way of development in our country. A successful TFG will mean that the underlying problems of the Somali war will not be solved and that 20 years of war was in vain. It will also mean that another revolution will become a necessity. Somalia’s war has been going on for longer then Shabab and TFG has been on the scene. The problem is not these factions, the problem is much greater then that. There is a disease in our society, our nation is confused and only when this disease is dealt with can we have the peace we long for. Do not get me wrong, clannism is not the disease, clannism is one of the many symptoms of this disease.
-
Xiinow, As you have asked I will explain to you my position in the current developments in our country and why I have taken up that position. My question to you is to explain to me why you have opted to support the foreign backed, foreign funded, foreign created TFG? and how this rhymes with your previous stance in the war of resistance, since in essence nothing has changed?
