^ Xiinfaniin, Adaa diinta wax ka yaqaanee, manoo sheegi kartaa in Obama lagu eedeenkaro inuu yahay murtad(apostate), diinta Islaamkana ka baxay? Waayo Aabihiis wuxuu ahaa nin Muslim ah oo reer Kiinya asalkiisu ahaa. Aabihiis kadib, hooyadiis waxay guursatay nin kale oo Muslim ah oo Indoneeshia kasoo jeeda. Marka ninkaan diinta Muslimka ayaa lagu soo koriyey, maantana waa kan maalin walba ku digriya inuu yahay gaal. Marka odeyga bahashu xagee iskaga qabsan la'adahay? P.S Excellent speech by the way.

I will start Restrictions Compliance ^ What a fascinating and original idea, Mz P! ... Am loving it very much, even though, I think it would be a lot more fun if we took the liberty of sexing up the English words-- just a little-- so that, while learning the Af Soomaali, we might in the process getter a better grasp of the English language as well. Now, for those nomads who are very erudite in the Somali language, could y'all please help us with the interlingual rendition of the following English words into Af Soomaali? 1) Resarciate? 2) Adimpleate? 3) Isangelous? 4) Sospital? 5) Sophronize? 6) Obarmate? 7) Inobligality? 8) Krioboly? 9) Acarasial? 10) Vadiation? As you have noticed by now, these words, I reckon, wont be found in your everyday average banter. Thus, please take the time to learn them and use them in a sentence or so, and also provide the equivalent translation in Af Soomaali. Many thanks to you all in advance...

It won't fly, but good luck though!

LOL@ the word, "freetrade". Saxiibyaal, Somalia is so free that if I chose to, I could trade in human flesh, let alone any other commodity. So this HAFSA has got to be a joke.

This is very disgusting. Nacallaa kuwada yaal! And the saddest thing of all is that sex trafficking and prostitution in the Somali community of Minneapolis is even worse with older folks who are just as vile and corrupted as these youth.

Originally posted by Prometheus: Senility, it seems, often lends itself to puerility. It behooves Somalis to get past the cultural (and religious) backwardness that informs the view that naagnimo is a congenital defect. Bintiland is an anachronistic insult. It would have been more biting in a bygone era. Nowadays, it's just a sign of nescience - something more easily attributed to simple conservatives and bumpkins than a reasonable person. Cogently argued, besides of-course, the snide and hopefully unintentional association with conservatives, you have made.

Originally posted by General Duke: They are upset at the demise of their agents, you are upset that we know who Godane is and what he stands for. Its not God, but "country" one that does not exist.. Originally posted by General Duke: First it was Siyad Barre's special treatment to them. Then look at the warlord infested South. Now its terror. Al Shabaab and their boys Godane, and Afghani are keeping hope alive for recognition. Lol @ a country that does not exist. But Duke, you gotta give it to them...they are a rather persistent bunch, aren't they? Who could have thunk it, that they were and are capable of plunging into such miserable depths of degradation to support Godane and his villainous band of terrorists? Just when you thought, Marfashland had no redeeming social graces, they go ahead a pull such a shocking depravity. -

Lost Childhood by David Ignatow How was it possible, I a father yet a child of my father? I grew panicky and thought of running away but knew I would be scorned for it by my father. I stood and listened to myself being called Dad. How ridiculous it sounded, but in front of me, asking for attention—how could I, a child, ignore this child's plea? I lifted him into my arms and hugged him as I would have wanted my father to hug me, and it was as though satisfying my own lost childhood.

Compulsively Allergic to the Truth by Jeffrey McDaniel I'm sorry I was late. I was pulled over by a cop for driving blindfolded with a raspberry-scented candle flickering in my mouth. I'm sorry I was late. I was on my way when I felt a plot thickening in my arm. I have a fear of heights. Luckily the Earth is on the second floor of the universe. I am not the egg man. I am the owl who just witnessed another tree fall over in the forest of your life. I am your father shaking his head at the thought of you. I am his words dissolving in your mind like footprints in a rainstorm. I am a long-legged martini. I am feeding olives to the bull inside you. I am decorating your labyrinth, tacking up snapshots of all the people who've gotten lost in your corridors.

The Return by Thomas R. Smith Unto Him all things return. –The Koran Walking on the park road early morning, summer solstice, we came to a place in the still- shaded cool where, looking up a grassy hillside, we could see, through a gap in the trees, the rising sun. Burning clear with all heat and strength befitting the day of its longest dominion, the sun, boiling from that high nest of foliage, lit a silver swath of sparkling, dew-bent grasses all the way down the drenched slope. So brilliant was that carpet of light the sun unrolled down the hill to our feet, we stopped where we were and sat awhile in pure wonder. And I remembered an old secret promise, deemed unwise to speak, though who could deny it, seeing these folk, humble yet adorned, nodding together on their way back to the sun? And soon enough we got up again and wandered on into whatever we had to do on that day, though not unchanged, having accompanied a little distance on the morning road of their return those illuminated pilgrims.

^ They are scared shitless, of course. Tell them they are beyond the P.I.S's "Kangaroo" court's reach, and not to worry about no "extrajudicial killing" ever being sanctioned against them. -

Originally posted by General Duke: Agent Attam supporters have no issue here, they were brave enough to start a war, and yet don’t have the stamina , all they do now iscomplain of the consequence of their actions, which is a great deal of pain to their foot soldiers and Al Shabaab supporters. First to the young Al Shabaab supporter, don’t worry we know how to defang and humiliate fake religious groups, like Al Itixad in the past and now Agent Attam, and it will continue inshaAllah, anyone who wants to get executed should come and threaten Puntland. NGOONGE, Faroole as handled the Galgala affair better than we expected, an attack on his person by secessionists, confused secessionist agents, defeated Attam supporters and the confused lot in the south only strengthens his position. Hear, hear! They know how to clap hands for peace breaking miscreants, yet when said miscreants are resolutely stifled and dealt with harshly by the security forces, they cry foul: How very moronic, indeed! Sorry fellas, Puntland will NEVER comprise its peace and stability, however much you may wish it weren't so. -
Originally posted by Haatu: Waffle and a bit. ^ ...and very Somali like, if I might add. Nonetheless, I concur that federalism is the only workable solution to Somalia's current woes. However the structure of the respective states/regions within such a federal system in the future, will depend upon the citizens that reside therein. Only Gobollada that can get along, like Puntland, may share a state government, those that cannot can go form their own independent state governments. Thereby ensuring that states which are built on a collective consensus of opinion shall thrive-- those that wont, will never get off the ground in the first place...(Need I give examples? )

Hargaysa behind Al Shabaab Godane, Afghani mere agents
Mr. Somalia replied to General Duke's topic in Politics
^ If this is true, then a long held 'suspicion' of mine has been confirmed. I have always held the view that Ethiopia was one way or another behind the Al Shabab menace in general--(it is only they that benefit from the continued anarchy, dissension and political disorder of Somalia)-- and using their operatives(Somali or not) from the vassal and tributary administration in Hargaysa, they were/are able to funnel weapons, funds and in the case of this dead fellow, foot soldiers to Al Shabab. This assertion of mine is given a waking credence by the fact that the former mugger extraordinaire, Riyaale, was himself a secret service agent in the old NSS and was thus, very capable of overseeing such infernal machinations in Somalia, on behalf of the devilments of Addis Ababa. All in all, it is unfortunate to learn that our Marfashlanders, who we always thought were nothing more than a bunch of funny talking druggies, could ever possess the gall and audacity to play the part of an intermediary between the Ethiopian government and Al Shabab. But sooner or later, it will eventually come back to bite them in the rear.
