  1. ^^ Duke, I can't believe you're still trying to make sense out of this boy. Cowke is one delusional kid. His only purpose here is to start pissing contests and get folks worked up. He's been like this ever since he showed up here under his former aliases. Encourage him at your own risk.
  2. ^^ LOL @ "wa madaxweynahayagii ila intano doonu na haysanaya" Xaaji, I think you meant to say, waa madaxweynahayagii ilaa INTUU doono ayuu na haysanayaa, soo ma aha?

  4. The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. " 'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door; Only this, and nothing more." Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December, And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor. Eagerly I wished the morrow; vainly I had sought to borrow From my books surcease of sorrow, sorrow for the lost Lenore,. For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore, Nameless here forevermore. And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain Thrilled me---filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before; So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating, " 'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door, Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door. This it is, and nothing more." Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer, "Sir," said I, "or madam, truly your forgiveness I implore; But the fact is, I was napping, and so gently you came rapping, And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door, That I scarce was sure I heard you." Here I opened wide the door;--- Darkness there, and nothing more. Deep into the darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before; But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token, And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, Lenore?, This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, "Lenore!" Merely this, and nothing more. Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning, Soon again I heard a tapping, something louder than before, "Surely," said I, "surely, that is something at my window lattice. Let me see, then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore. Let my heart be still a moment, and this mystery explore. " 'Tis the wind, and nothing more." Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter, In there stepped a stately raven, of the saintly days of yore. Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he; But with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door. Perched upon a bust of Pallas, just above my chamber door, Perched, and sat, and nothing more. Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore, "Though thy crest be shorn and shaven thou," I said, "art sure no craven, Ghastly, grim, and ancient raven, wandering from the nightly shore. Tell me what the lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore." Quoth the raven, "Nevermore." Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly, Though its answer little meaning, little relevancy bore; For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door, Bird or beast upon the sculptured bust above his chamber door, With such name as "Nevermore." But the raven, sitting lonely on that placid bust, spoke only That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour. Nothing further then he uttered; not a feather then he fluttered; Till I scarcely more than muttered, "Other friends have flown before; On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before." Then the bird said, "Nevermore." Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken, "Doubtless," said I, "what it utters is its only stock and store, Caught from some unhappy master, whom unmerciful disaster Followed fast and followed faster, till his songs one burden bore,--- Till the dirges of his hope that melancholy burden bore Of "Never---nevermore." But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling, Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird, and bust and door; Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore -- What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt and ominous bird of yore Meant in croaking "Nevermore." Thus I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing To the fowl, whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core; This and more I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining On the cushion's velvet lining that the lamplight gloated o'er, But whose velvet violet lining with the lamplight gloating o'er She shall press, ah, nevermore! Then, methought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer Swung by seraphim whose footfalls tinkled on the tufted floor. "Wretch," I cried, "thy God hath lent thee -- by these angels he hath Sent thee respite---respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore! Quaff, O quaff this kind nepenthe, and forget this lost Lenore!" Quoth the raven, "Nevermore!" "Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil!--prophet still, if bird or devil! Whether tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore, Desolate, yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted-- On this home by horror haunted--tell me truly, I implore: Is there--is there balm in Gilead?--tell me--tell me I implore!" Quoth the raven, "Nevermore." "Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil--prophet still, if bird or devil! By that heaven that bends above us--by that God we both adore-- Tell this soul with sorrow laden, if, within the distant Aidenn, It shall clasp a sainted maiden, whom the angels name Lenore--- Clasp a rare and radiant maiden, whom the angels name Lenore? Quoth the raven, "Nevermore." "Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!" I shrieked, upstarting-- "Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore! Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken! -- quit the bust above my door! Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!" Quoth the raven, "Nevermore." And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door; And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming. And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor; And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor Shall be lifted---nevermore!
  5. A Dream Within A Dream by Edgar Allan Poe Take this kiss upon the brow! And, in parting from you now, Thus much let me avow- You are not wrong, who deem That my days have been a dream; Yet if hope has flown away In a night, or in a day, In a vision, or in none, Is it therefore the less gone? All that we see or seem Is but a dream within a dream. I stand amid the roar Of a surf-tormented shore, And I hold within my hand Grains of the golden sand- How few! yet how they creep Through my fingers to the deep, While I weep- while I weep! O God! can I not grasp Them with a tighter clasp? O God! can I not save One from the pitiless wave? Is all that we see or seem But a dream within a dream?
  6. Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea, That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of ANNABEL LEE; And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me. I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea; But we loved with a love that was more than love- I and my Annabel Lee; With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven Coveted her and me. And this was the reason that, long ago, In this kingdom by the sea, A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling My beautiful Annabel Lee; So that her highborn kinsman came And bore her away from me, To shut her up in a sepulchre In this kingdom by the sea. The angels, not half so happy in heaven, Went envying her and me- Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea) That the wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee. But our love it was stronger by far than the love Of those who were older than we- Of many far wiser than we- And neither the angels in heaven above, Nor the demons down under the sea, Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful Annabel Lee. For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride, In the sepulchre there by the sea, In her tomb by the sounding sea. ******************** ********
  7. ^^^ LOL Cowke, you are one twisted little person!
  8. ^^ dee dannahooda ayee ka shirayaan! Xaaji, waan ujeydaa inaad calanka buluuga ah inaad ka naxsantahay. Anah waxaan ku leeyahay nax oo dhimo! Here enjoy...
  9. So, the Mafrashlanders go on and on about sugar coating their blatant submission to a brutal dictator by claiming a very important political discourse has taken place, and some pointless Xabash tries to back them up with his faux outrage and demands an apology from me. Stunning. You folks are just such a pathetic joke for ALL to see. No integrity whatsoever. No insight. No sense of irony. And not a shred of shame. But I can't say I'm surprised. p.s Zack, you really should refrain from attempting to reply to posts where you can only understand the short words.
  10. Denmark, Kangaroo, Orange by Kevin Griffith Pick a number from one to ten. Okay, now multiply that number by nine. You will have a two-digit number. Add those two digits. Now subtract five from that number. Take that number and find its corresponding letter in the alphabet (1=A, 2=B, etc.). Now think of a country that begins with that letter. Now name an animal that begins with the last letter of the country. Finally, name a fruit that begins with the last letter of that animal.
  11. Originally posted by The Zack: Mr.Somalia, I smell hatred from ALL of your posts. You seem to focus on the negative side of everything about Somali regions except the one you are from. Why? It is backward enclave politically and economically kulahaa, where in Somalia or even in Africa is not so backward bal? As for the topic, I think the opposition parties made the right choice. There is nothing better than peace and that is what they chose. Hold your ONLF horses, Zack! The grand Xabash, Hassan Turki, is not doing so well. So I urge you to focus your attention on aiding your senile old uncle instead off blatantly showing off your blatant ignorance on a topic you have no business discussing in the first place-- you foreigner. Meesha ma Ethiopia inaad joogtid baad mowdey?

Again, peace requires sacrifice and to preserve it will need even more compromising. The opposition could have remained stagnant to their previous position and the the ruling party would continue to ignore them; as you can imagine the end result would be a very ugly picture which already caused the deaths of several of our brothers. Haye maxaa la faa'iday ii sheeg? Maanta nabadii way jiraysaa, siyaasad iyo wada hadalkiina way dhaceen oo qodobo la isku raacay ayaa la sameeyey. This is watermark for future SL administrations. The political struggles we have seen are nothing but obstacles that hinder any new entity. the later administrations will have no problems in holding elections as Somaliland public becomes more aware, the political parties more mature and the voting commission more competent. This was for the Somaliland people and for the whole region including your beloved Puntland. For this to happen, one group has to play to the tune of another in the hopes of saving the masses and the establishment as a whole. It takes courage beyond a personal interest though it may seem cowardly and foolish to some naysayers. Markaa adiga iyo wixii aad isku fikirka tihiin waxaad ka siman tihiin in aad tihiin dawladiid aan tooda mooye ta ummada aan ka fakarin. When ina Yey was terrorizing Somalia, you were proud of him and proud to have him as your uncle, today you couldn't be any further as you have been praising the Alshabaabs. Waxaad ogtaa iska yar ba. Markaa ummada ka fadhiista adiga iyo kuwa kula mid ah sida kan Cawke isku sheega. SOL waa meel karama leh laakin xaarkaad la wareegaysaan has lowered its quality. Exactly. Spin the facts to make everything seem dandy in your precious sh1thole upnorth, but all you are to the world, is a big joke. You can spout off gibberish all you want, RedSea, but the facts speak for themselves. Marfashland is a backward enclave; economically speaking, socially speaking and now politically as well; with Riyaale's obvious dictatorship running the show in Hargaysa.
  13. ^^ The joke is on you and Riyaale's concubines! It's an unhealthy predicament you lot find yourselves in. Now run, save yourself and don't look back!
  14. ^^^ I concur with Mr McCheesy's musings on the topic! Somalis should not blame Ethiopia for anything. The blame squarely lies on our shoulders.
  15. ^^ Another tempest in a teapot....
  16. ^^ Haye, I will go away: Laakin ma ka heshay Xaajiga's surrender when he finally proclaimed "waa iska caadi" in regards to Riyaale's mugging.
  17. ^^ Obama was pushed to lobby for that city to host the Olympics by Chicago's local politicians who are famous for being very corrupt. He just thought he could repay them for their support by helping to bring the multi-billion dollar Olympic budget under their stewardship. I think Obama made a fool of himself going over there in person and getting a b1tchslap from Rio. He should have allowed ONLY Michelle and Oprah to make fools out of themselves instead. p.s Rio de janeiro has nice beaches and fine women, I give you that-- But the rest of the city is pretty much dirty and full of crime.
  18. ^^^ LOL @ "wa iska caadi"! Xaaji, awalba yaa ku baryayey adiga?
  19. ^^^ Why is it that every-time Al Shabab b1tchslaps a group within their ranks --with hidden clan agendas-- does everyone cry foul and say that Al Shabab are foreign. Al Shabab are Somalis, founded by Somalis, for Somalis!! Al Shabab will continue to separate the wheat from the chaff by constantly weeding out all those culprits with non-islamic agendas. Previously, it was Sharif; now it's Hassan Turki who bit the dust and next will be Daahir Aweys. Who knew I'd be saying this but Al Shabab may after all change their deviant ways and become Muslims once again with the noble cause of liberating our nation from all the vices(both foreign and local) that have held us hostage all these years. But only time will tell...
  20. ^^ Go back to dugsi, you damiin who doesn't even know the full name of the Holy Preophet(pbup)! p.s cool strategy on your part-- to lay low for a few weeks and resurface with a different alias, in the hopes of getting the vultures off your back.
  21. ^^^ The premise of the intial scenerio in this article is flawed because Daahir Aweys will not defeat Al Shabab because he is not fighting Al Shabab in Kismayo. He broke his alliance with Hassan Turki by not aiding him in the Kismayo fight, even though he was more than happy with the help he was getting from the Ras Kamboni crew in Xamar. Aweys simply played Turki like a little school girl!
  22. ^^ Regardless of all the rhetoric bullsh1t he is always spouting; you are giving way too much credit than he deserves. You should not let that lowlife get to you-- he is unimportant.
